First I’d like to mention Brian, the service tech I spoke to over the phone. He was informative, and professional. The two technicians who came to the home did an outstanding job and did not try to sell me services I did not need. They troubleshot my system, and repaired the issues they found. I would highly recommend, their technicians behaved more as problem solvers than salesmen. I will be a returning customer for all my septic needs.

Still waiting on an estimate for my job

I called to get an estimate for some work needed done (closet flange replacement, and some stem valves) the original call was pleasant and the delightful woman said we offer free estimates...as well as their website. We set up the appointment and everything was fine. The appointment time finally comes. The gentleman was very nice and professional and said “this is what I would recommend, and this is how much it will cost” he left that quote on the back of some torn cardboard paper and left. No problems right? Well about 5 minuets later the gentleman is back at my door, saying well I need to collect something for today’s visit, and confused I was wondering what he was taking about. He said it was for the service call and that the $75 would be applied to the visit following when they came out to do the work. So essentially, a $75 payment now and the rest of the payment when the work was completed. He basically took my credit card info and handed me a tablet to sign. After getting spun in circles for about another 5 minuets...he said something that somewhat kind of made sense and I ended up initialing the tablet to be done with it.Fast forward 3 months. I never called to get the work done because of the past experience and A-1 is calling to collect $75 dollars. They claim it was for the service fee 3 months prior. Obviously shocked because of the whole “we offer free estimates” thing...I tell the lady...”look, I called for an estimate. Why are you asking for more money?” She said “we have it marked as a service, and we have a recording of how you requested it and you didn’t say estimate” okay, so requesting a quote is different that an estimate apparently. Since she claimed they had a recording of me saying this I simply asked to hear it myself since she was so adamant about the request not being made the correct way. She refused and just sent me an email of a screenshot of the initialed tablet page from 3 months prior. She said we have your initials on this paper saying you would pay us. Annoyed I just paid the money to be rid of the situation and the company.So to recap, I paid $75 for a free estimate...the guy came recommended work that he said he couldn’t do that day even if he wanted to, got told to sign a tablet under questionable circumstances, and then got calls from them 3 months later for payment after receiving no correspondence prior at all. Sure, part of it was stupidity on my part...most was sketchy business practice. 0/10 would recommend. 2 stars for the original customer service when setting up the appointment.

I had a new AC system installed- inside unit and outside unit. The quality and price- you really can’t beat! Zef and his employees work great! Highly recommend using Flow Solutions for your HVAC needs!!

Editing my original review: First time they came out it was a great experience and a great price. Unfortunately, the second visit (for something different) was a very different experience. It was for a small clog that turned into a big problem, which certainly happens, but the tech wasn’t sure how to fix it, so he had to call his boss (who was in a meeting). When the tech got ahold of his boss a while later, he wondered around my property chatting on the phone, then cleaned up and left without telling me the cost or options. I got charged for the time he spent trying to figure out his job and for that time on the call. If a tech doesn’t know how to do a job, I’d suggest he leave so I’m not charged extra for a how-to-do-my-job 30 minute call.

Griffin installed an HVAC unit supporting the upper level of our home about three years ago. It became time to replace the unit that supports the lower level of our home and our earlier experience with Griffin was so positive, of course, we contacted them to provide our new unit.Just like our original experience, Kyle very responsively provided us with a proposal that was easy-to-understand. We moved forward with the contract and were delighted that Griffin's technicians arrived the following day. They were well-prepared, on-time, and very courteous. They completed the installation in less than a day, and without any incidents.Griffin would be a great paradigm for any Small Business.

Snyder got me scheduled for service next day. I have experience in troubleshooting as a property manager and homeowner, but I wanted a licensed pro’s help this time. Ron showed up on time, communicated well, and he got the job done quickly. I’ll be using Snyder again.

Had thermostat issue, called Donovan as I have used them for routine care. They set up an appointment for the same day, arrived when expected, in and out in no time. The new thermostat was installed, no pressure to replace or to choose a more expensive one. These guys are wonderful.

Brandon and Lee provided excellent information on A/C units and let us decide which we preferred. Installation was done quickly and efficiently! They were both awesome!!! They were a pleasure to have at my home! Because of them, if we need a service again, we will call you guys!!!

Very professional service..definitely hire again

I just had Farrell's Mechanical install a natural gas tankless water heater and gas stove. When I first started the process of getting gas appliances I called several of the contractors that supposedly honored the Teco water heater program. Several of the contractors came out to give me an estimate only to find out they wouldn't honor the Teco program...even though it was one their own websites. I called Farrell's Mechanical...they came out and gave me an estimate that was a lot cheaper than the big companies. He honored the Teco program and he worked very well with Teco. Once Teco installed the gas meter, Farrell called me to schedule the installation. He was on time for the appointment and started work right away. By early afternoon I had hot water and a new stove installed at the exact price he quoted me. He provided an electrician to do the electrical work and properly ground the gas line to protect my house. Everything was done in a very professional manner. He hauled off the old water heater and cleaned up any mess. I save a lot of money by using Farrell's...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FARRELL'S MECHANICAL!!! They did an awesome job for a reasonable price.

I called Benjamin Franklin to get a quote on how much it would cost to have them come and fix a busted pipe that had partially flooded my house. After talking with the receptionist my husband told me not to call a plumber so I did not book them. About 20 minuets after I received a phone call from Hosea who was very nice and went above and beyond to help me. At the time he called I was struggling to figure out what supplies I needed to get. I told him that my husband wanted to fix it and he was supportive and listed to what was going on. He did not just hang up the phone and go on with his day, he walked me through everything I needed to get and took about a half an hour to help me find the supplies. If you need a plumber look no further!!
