We were very please with going with Nick's plumbing. Leo was super nice and obviously very qualified in what he was doing. We had a stubborn drain problem in one of our bathrooms and Leo figured it out in no time!The young man that come the day before (I don't remember his name-sorry) diagnosed the problem but needed more equipment to take care of it. Brandon and Jose were my service technicians. They were polite and professional and patient with the plumbing issues in our house. They also went above & beyond, by not only fixing the issue, but providing me with a preventative maintenance plan in order to keep our drains clear and flowing. The company also brought us a BarkBox for our dogs as a complimentary gift after purchasing x amount of services. We will be using Texas Quality Plumbing again if we have any plumbing needs in the future.

ISSUES:* On December 11, 2018 we called Roto-Rooter for assistance with our kitchen sink and laundry drain, which had backed up causing water to overflow into cabinetry and onto floors. Freddy (Service Technician #3702) responded to the call. Though polite, he did not offer any significant concrete response as to why the backup occurred. However, he did worked quickly to cable the kitchen sink through the outdoor trap to clear the line, and resolve the clog. This service call cost us $300, which came with a 6-months warranty on the worked performed.* On April 4, 2019, we called Roto-Rooter again for assistance as the exact same scenario from 5 months ago had reoccurred. The following morning Fernando Layola (Service Technician #826) responded to the call (he was joined by a Service Technician in training). It was immediately evident that Mr. Layola was extremely knowledgeable, and interested in finding the root cause(s) in order to offer a valid solution to the issue. He quickly determined that our issue was two-fold. First, the garbage disposal side of the sink was not functioning properly, as the unit was aged, inadequate, and had significant corrosion (this was visually evident). Second, the other side of the kitchen sink had an improper elevation from when the previous home owners installed a new deeper sink (causing a restriction of adequate drainage on one side). Though the service to re-cable the line to free the clog was free (because it was still covered under warranty), this did not address the root causes.OUTCOME:Mr. Layola provided us with several options, taking the time to explain things clearly and answer all of our questions regarding the proposed solutions. We opted to have the garbage disposal unit replaced, and declined to re-pipe the drainage pipe to resolve the elevation issue at this time (as this would soon be resolved in our upcoming remodel of the kitchen). In addition, he recommended Roto-Rooters Preventative Pipe Shield Maintenance Treatment which he explained as an active enzyme based treatment, instead of using Draino which heats up pipes and may cause damage upon repeat usage. Once all of the work and related costs were agreed upon they quickly started cabling the drain, and replacing the disposal in a very neat, organized, and professional manor. Upon completion, everything was demonstrated to show that we were once again clog-free while the new garbage disposal ran during a full rinse cycle of the dishwasher and washing machine. This service call cost us $701.67 ($490 for labor which was not taxed, $182.35 for the new garbage disposal unit, and $64 for the Pipe Shield product, both of which were taxed).5 months and just over $1,000 later we appear to be clog free with a better understanding of the root causes, a new garbage disposal, and a recommended plan of action.

Way to expensive quote

Called Flowmaster plumbing because of a very bad intermittent ceiling leak we were having in our kitchen. One time the leak was a real gusher coming from the kitchen ceiling and another time several weeks later it was leaking, but there was much less water this time. Tried several difference plumbers (recommended on Yelp), and they told me that the tub and shower in the bathroom from which the leak seemed to be coming was not the problem, but didn't have any ideas what the problem could be. Had a roofer out, who said the roof was not the problem.It was Charlie, who persevered to find the source of the problem: the AC was draining the wrong way and going outside and pouring down the side of my house and then into the kitchen. Others literally told me everything was fine (REALLY? I watched the water pour down my walls and onto my wood floors) but Paul persevered to find the source of the problem (even though it wasn't a plumbing problem), was all over the outside and inside of my house and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and show me what the problem was. He was so enthusiastic about my understanding that he also explained it to my houseguests, who enjoyed the tutorial.Charlie was here quite a while (several hours I think) and I thought his prices were very reasonable. So impressed by him, I have him lined up to rerun the exterior gas lines for an outdoor project we're doing and also to do a remodel of my master bath.Highly recommended!

My call to One Call was three weeks after the big freeze. Mine was no emergency, but I was anxious to get a drain line unclogged on a home I had just bought as I was concerned about the possibility of a busted sewer line. I was told in the nicest way that an exact service time could not be promised as the company was still very backed up with repairs from the freeze, but they would try to give me a day's notice, with a minimum notice of 30 minutes. I could live with that. The very next day I received a call because one of the plumbers was working in the area and had some time to take care of my problem. I was able to leave work and met Ricky at the house. He was very king and informative. My problem was taken care of in just a matter of minutes and he had ideas about keeping my drains unclogged. I hardly ever leave reviews but I just had to rave about Pedro with Major League Plumbing, LLC. Like others, we had disastrous leaks and numerous issues from the Arctic Freeze in February, but thankfully, we found Pedro who was able to come in and help us out immediately! We did a repair that would hold us for a few weeks so others in dire need had a chance to get assistance. Today we finally replaced our galvanized pipes. Major League Plumbing did an outstanding job! They were very respectful and professional throughout the process. During a time of COVID and not allowing others in our home, we felt completely safe with MLP. The employees wore masks and were very clean for such a dirty job. MLP is efficient, has excellent customer-service, and extremely fair in pricing. I can assure you that Major League Plumbing is the only company I will call in the future. I would suggest this company to all of my friends and family in need.

Mike and his team replaced a hot water heater in my two story Energy Corridor which has a unique floor plan. The attic isn't very tall while my HVAC lines made maneuvering in the attic very difficult. He traced a missing TP line which other plumbers could not find. We have hot water now and passed city inspection. Thank you 24/7!
