The Installers are decent tradesman but their Manager has serious anger issues. Stacey is known for yelling and disrespecting Customers and in-turn rubs off on the Installers creating a hostile work environment. Don't expect customer service or civil treatment from the Management regardless of how big the contract is, there are many other companies that know how to provide customer service, definitely NOT Epic.

These guys are great. Hired them for a pretty difficult outdoor fan installation (20 foot ceiling). They showed up on time with the right equipment to get the job done right. Would definitely recommend Texas Electric...!

Haywood Smart was our electrician this time (our third time using Colvin for projects on our property). He was excellent, listened to our requests and understood the complexity of our system quickly (multiple solar installations, battery backup, etc.). The work was done quickly and precisely. Colvin continues to be the best (period) and the prices are excellent.

I called IES to install a whole house surge protector and was quoted $450. We scheduled at that time because its a new house and others in the area were having issues with power surges. My mistake, I should have called around. They came out and did the work. Only afterwards did I find out how much I was ripped off. The surge protector they installed is an $88 product which means their standard trip fee (their words, not mine) was $362. I then called a few other places around to find out what their charge would be for the same item and was quoted between $200 and $300. When I mentioned to one place what I paid their response was holy sh1t you got ripped off. I contacted IES and was told them would look into this exorbitant charge. Their response was We only charged you what we paid for the surge protector plus our standard trip fee.. I feel completely taken and will NEVER use them again. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

We were struck by lightning 3 nights ago. It fried much of our AC electrical components. Alex, the technician did a great job of slowly replacing burned parts of our AC system.He was so considerate and careful to explain the extent of the damage and what the plan was to get parts. Extensive damage.Really compassionate and caring individual. This was very tough, but Alex helped tremendously by explaining what happened and what was damaged.

Every time they have come to my house, they have been in time and have done really great work! I recommend them to anyone, and will continue to use Jackson Electric for my home.
