They replaced the water line from the meter to the house. There was one issue which they came out and addressed promptly. The personnel were very easy to work with. Stiĺl need to wait for the soil to settle in the 4 foot deep trench and around the meter.

Quick response time. The Plumber was prompt with his arrival and helped me diagnose the problem. He provided a fair price quote and returned the next day to do the work. There was a clog in the main drain pipe that would require a snake. Service rendered was great and I would not hesitate to call them again if I encounter any future plumbing needs

I had my toilet clogged in the middle of the night and these guys showed up within an hour. I was satisfied.

We had a heat pump installed, the first cooling system our 50s house ever had. The install was quick, even with taking time to answer any remaining questions and to properly greet both toddler and cat - professional without being stand-offish. The consult was great, too, and we appreciated that they took the time to argue for the least expensive option just as fervently as for the more profitable ones.

Worked with this company (Kyle) to connect gas equipment and install a new hand sink in a commercial space, they quoted cheaper than large plumbing competitors like roto, pulling the same permit and performing the work. Once the actual work was done it was even less than original quote.

Will contract all of our future plumbing work to Hensley’s

Hands down the best leak detection and plumbing repair company I’ve ever dealt with. Slab leaks are one of the most stressful home issues to deal with because you know it’s going to cost a lot, but most plumbers won’t give you a price until after they’ve finished the job. Evans Leak Detection lets you know what it will cost before they even come to your house. How awesome is that! This is a long review because these guys deserve it.

From the beginning, Ron was straight forward and upfront about the slab leak detection and repair process. The absolute best part is the flat rate pricing for fixing slab leaks. Knowing the cost ahead of time eased my mind and helped me better prepare for the expense.

I called so many plumbers trying to get an idea on cost to repair our slab leak and none of them would give a price. I foolishly paid another plumber for leak detection and estimate before contacting Evans Leak Detection. Even after that, the “other guy” wouldn’t give me an exact dollar amount, but rather a ridiculously wide range of what it “might” cost. He said he would have to rip out our kitchen cabinets and they’d be damaged to the point of needing to be replaced by us, adding even more expense to the process.

So I contacted Ron at Evans Leak Detection, he asked a few questions, explained the process and told me what the flat rate price would be (which was much lower than the estimate from the other place). He had Omar at our house within a couple of days. Omar located the leak quickly, answered the 800 questions I had, and explained everything he was going to do to bypass the slab leaking pipe and re-route that section. He was able to run the new section of pipe in the wall behind our kitchen cabinets. Not an easy task, but he did it seamlessly with very little cosmetic work for us to address after. He was such a nice man, very thorough and experienced in his work, and double checked/cleaned up everything well before leaving.

In summary, if you have the misfortune and stress of a slab leak, please don’t waste time researching other plumbers. Just call Evans Leak Detection. We recently moved into an older home that sat vacant for quite a while, so of course, the kitchen drain had issues after a couple months of use again! He had done our initial drain inspection and rooting before moving in, so he was aware of the pipe layouts, area, and type of clay pipes we have that connect to the city. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt in his services! He is the only one we plan to use in the future. :)

The guys gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were running a bit late. They came and did a great job replacing my 11 year old water heater that came with house when I purchased it new. It was a cleaner and much neater job than the previous contractors. They were very quick and efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. Fair price, great service.

I previously used them a few years back by the recommendation of my neighbor, who is a also a plumber but doesn't work the type of job that I needed done to my drain. My pipes are old and needs to be clean every so often. So when I saw a little water backing up again on my basement floor drain, I completely forgot who I used. Went online and saw a familiar name and figured that was the company I used before. It turned be a franchise company that is extremely expensive and tried to scam me by saying my line might be broken and that another tech will need look at it to confirm that I'll need new pipes. I should have listened to my intuition from the very first call I made to this company, even the call was a complete different experience from what I remembered.

So I dig into to my records from years before and saw that it was Midway Sewer I used last time. Ron came to look at my drain and was awesome. He was warm and personable, completely different from the dude who tried to rip me off. Ron ran the line no problem ALL THE WAY through the pipe whereas the other guy said the line couldn't move any further than a few feet due to a block caused by the broken pipe. The job with Midway Sewer costed SIGNIFICANTLY lower. So SO much less!!! And they got the job.

As of today, this locally owned company does not have a lot of reviews on here (but those that are, are all rated 5 stars), so if quantity is what you're looking for and you decide to go with another company, here's an advice, if they won't disclose the price of the job, go with Midway Sewer Service Company of St Paul. If not Midway Sewer Service Company of St Paul, avoid the franchise and go with the locally owned companies who knows that reputation for honest work matters in our community.

Marc did amazing work for my recent home renovation! He installed a new toilet and and new vanity/faucet. They look great and work well. He was on time and excellent at problem solving through some unexpected challenges at my home. He worked quickly and efficiently - would highly recommend to anyone looking for a plumber! :)
