right away, gave us a super duper reasonable price, and did the work professional, and he's been our guy for many projects ever since.. and I always turn him on to other people too, not only does he deserve it but, its a win win.. help others and help Zack!

This company is the one you want to hire. Zach is very response through text and calls and great at follow up. Does everything by the book with installation and city licensing. Turn around time is great and is a company you can trust. Workers are courteous and professional and clean up nicely after they’re done. Neighbors from all around asked for their number for jobs they want done. I will definitely be calling them again for services. You won’t regret it. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

I needed a plumber to repair an update a few things on my home which was for sale. Zack did an outstanding job. I would use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone needing mechanical work. Great pricing, Professional and On Time. What more do you want?

This is a follow up to positive 5 star review months ago. Unfortunately, working with Zach, of Smith Mechanical in Albuquerque, NM turned into a fiasco. He consistently called with excuses of why he couldn't make it or would be late. then he just stopped answering my calls or texts. He will nickel and dime you; I wasn't aware it would cost $75 to change out two washers in my toilet which he knew I was planning to replace. Just needed the washers to stop a temporary leak. Especially after I'd already spent over $5000 with him. In the good ole days, doing that work is called good will when other work is to follow. He said it took an hour to do that job. I know for a fact it didn't. Zach's work at my house was good as far as I know. (issues don't always show up right away) I also paid Zach's invoices the day he sent them. I never made him wait for my payment. As it turns out, my sister recommended him prematurely as she faced some very disappointing and expensive to fix, sprinkler issues with Zach's work (seems he never installed a sprinkler system before and did not do the job correctly) so they got into a loud, nasty argument. It seems others have had negative experiences with Zach as well (check Albuquerque's Next Door for posts on Smith Mechanical) Unfortunately, I learned Zach is a very young (read immature) business man who tries hard in the beginning and then treats his customers poorly once established. I gave him 2 stars instead of 1 because he 'apparently did the job correctly' when he installed a new and very expensive tankless water heater. I'm not convinced the price I paid for the tankless system was worth it. Renai is a good tankless I've had experience with, but I went with Zach's recommendation for the Navian. Zach told me if I didn't like the Navian he would replace it with the Renai, but he ignored calls about the fluctuating water temperatures. Zach also did a decent job installing a 220 outlet always left a mess to clean up. Zach was working on an older boiler system and had to replace parts as he went along...ok, no problem. However, he hadn't finished the job when he started ghosting me and wouldn't tell me where he left off so another plumber could pick up the work since he was refusing to come back. (immature!!!) Needless to say, some plumbers don't want to work on someone else's system if they left it uncompleted. All in all, I would NEVER recommend Zach Smith, Smith Mechanical, ever again.

Zach is incredibly knowledgeable and very organized in so many specialties. Add to that his kind, friendly, and patient nature, and you get someone you can trust and depend on. You'll want to put Zach on speed dial!!! So glad he was recommended to me.

Nothing good to say here at all.

Extremely professional and responded within hours on the same day, so my kids and I could actually have a cool sleep, finally, on one of the hottest days/nights of this year.
Zach cared enough to not just fix everything and work with my budget, he also helped explain to me what to do and how to fix problems on my own in the future, including maintenance tips. My buddy who referred me to him has a super cool home temp and now so does my family! We slept better than we have all summer feeling the COOL air! It feels relaxing to have an AC that works! Thanks to Zach! My kids and I thank you & so does our pup!!!

Zach was super helpful! He was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I was mostly home while he worked and saw what a hard worker he is. He did a lot! I felt like I could trust him with his recommendations and understanding of the situation, which was on the complicated side. I highly recommend Smith Mechanical and feel happy to have someone to help with our mechanical needs! He’s also a really nice person, which is always wonderful to find. Thanks for such great work!

They service my cooler and heater every season. They have flushed my hot water heater and replaced outdoor hose bib. They are very responsive and professional. I wouldn't use anyone else and have recommended them to all my friends.

We called Smith Mechanical to help when our AC at our townhouse stopped working. They worked us into their schedule that day and came out and fixed it that afternoon. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We will definitely call them in the future for any HVAC/plumbing needs!

Zach helped me with a number of plumbing issues in a home I recently purchased in Albq's NE Heights. Zach installed new shower heads and handles, fixed the water valve behind the refrigerator, installed a new water shutoff valve for the entire house, and fixed the water valves behind the washer and dryer when the Home Depot installers found the valves too degraded to allow for the install of the new washer & dryer. Zach is a nice young man who I found to be responsive, professional, capable, and kind.

Excellent work, great price 10/10 recommend

Zach put a new water heater in our house. He was very professional, on time, and new what he was doing. He worked fast and did not price gouge us. We passed our city inspection with no issues. Zach was quick to respond when I had a few questions and he had the answers. Zach went above and beyond for us and truly cares about helping people. We have a lot of work to have done on our house and I won’t use any other company, I highly recommend Smith Mechanical!!!!
