I usually do not like to give companies unfavorable reviews, but as a building contractor looking to build a relationship with an electrical company in Ponte Vedra, I tried to give Lore Electrical an opportunity to earn my business going by their 5 star reviews and they completely overlooked me. Granted I had a small job which I ended up paying about 4K just for the electrical part of it, but i went out of my way to provide them with and electrical layout, took it to them which i don't usually have to do (most subcontractors come to the job site) to save them time, i never heard back from them, call them twice to inquire about the bid and heard nothing.
I took two stars off, because i can't rate them on their performance just customer service and I am sure there was valid explanation why they never responded to my inquiry. Hope their customer service improves after this review and helps them value every customer and inquiry just the same.

I worked there for a total of 9 years. Larry deserves a lot of respect. He requires his employees to provide excellent customer service and top quality work. I am thankful to have worked there.

Contacted this guy multiple times about just adding lights to an existing room, i have everything just needed him to install them, was only trying him because he was referred by a coworker, this is the 2nd time I tried to use him for work, I got ghosted both times. I guess this guy just doesn't want money. Poor buisnessman for someone who runs their own buisness. DONT use this guy.

never hire jl electric. I found them on craiglist. I hired them to repair 15 items in my house, he said everything is ok,I paid him, and when we moved in 3 outlets, plug for the dryer and one ligthfixture never worked, i called him several times but they never answered the phone again.

Called this company for help with a ceiling fan w/ remote. I exhausted all my knowledge, he said he would come out the next day at 9am. At 718 the next morning, I got a text saying the tech call in sick and that the could not make the appointment. Two weeks later not a word. Unreliable company!

I received the called to schedule an appointment, The person stated that they don't work in the morning. ??? I can't work with a company that only works from 12:00PM-4:00PM. The person was very rude, save your money and go some place also.

We lost all electric power to our home on New Years Day. They quickly came out and corrected the problem that day. Great Job!

If I could give this company zero stars, I would; their level of incompetence is next level. They installed our breaker system for our home, and about eight months in, we started having electrical problems - random breakers would just flipped, and we'd lose power in different sections of the house.
After multiple visits from one of their techs, the issue still keeps happening every few weeks.
Last week Saturday, our main break went, and we were left with power ( no heat or hot water) in the cold. After multiple calls at 10:00 pm, we found an electrician who was able to get the light back on and charged us $500.
Until this day, I'm not able to get a hold of McDonald Electric even though I've left multiple voicemails.
Do yourself a favor, DO NOT hire this company for anything.

These people are con artists especially as they work with BOLD homes who are the biggest con artists in Jacksonville .
My husband a veteran has ALS
They took advantage of me with a generator that still does not work the VA provided through my husband's grant ... They billed BOLD and I was told my house was never grounded a complete LIE.
The invoice was to Bold..i paid the electrician MIKE
for a shoddy job did not work $1,035
I didn't know any better .
These people are nothing short of EVIL.
