I had a weird electricity issue for months that I called my home owner warranty about twice. Two different electricians came on two different occasions and could not determine the problem. I looked up local electricians and new York City electricians was the first to come up and had such great ratings. I called and explained my situation and They was able to come in the very same day so that I wouldn't have to take another day off from work. Charles is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything each step of the way and was so helpful. After he fixed the issue he even followed up to make sure everything was still working okay. I highly highly recommend New York City electricians to anyone looking for an electrician in the New York area, and will always keep in mind for any other electricity needs in my house. Yordanys is a certified master electrician who leads a great team of electricians. They did an elegant job designing, wiring, installing outlets and connecting power to the motorized shades in our apartment. He and his team were a joy to work with, and I highly recommend them for any job requiring expertise, experience and integrity.

Overall my experience was not good. Patrick came by to check out a defective ceiling light and replace the wiring on a couple of other lights. He also replaced an outlet near the stove. All of the work took about half an hour. Patrick said he needed to order a part for the defective ceiling light and would return once that part arrived. I never heard back from him or the office so I emailed (a week later) and was told the part had shipped but there was no ETA. Another week went by with no update so I contacted the office again and was told they had to check on an ETA. I never heard back so I canceled the job. How hard is it to order and receive a part? How hard is it to keep me in the loop? I ended up paying $250 for half an hour's work and an incomplete job.

Prompt, courteous service. Our bldg lights were out and they came within an hour and restored power immediately, explaining the situation all along the way. They will be my first call for any electrical needs in the future.

Moshe sent a very nice electrician to my apt in Carroll gardens, bklyn install two fan/light fixtures in December 2020. He was professional and polite. When I thought there was a problem post-install Moshe was quick to respond and sent the same person back to check out the issue. My only complaint would be that the electrician himself was heavily overbooked so it was hard to plan around him. He ended up coming quite late on both days.

Had an electrical emergency so I called Bright Electrical Service. They showed up and fixed the problem. Excellent, prompt service and the rate was reasonable. Enough so that the following week I called for an estimate on some other work I needed. Been using him ever since. Val and his guys are great. Definitely my electrician from now on!!
