Mark at Direct Plumbing and Drain was fantastic! He returned my call immediately, quoted me a price, performed the work within 24 hours of my call to him and charged me exactly what he quoted even though he fixed a couple extra things that were not included in the original quote. His price was more than reasonable, it was SUPER! He also left the work area as clean as it was when he arrived. He didn’t try to up sell me anything and was a very nice person. I would not hesitate to leave him alone in my house if there were a need to. I recommend this company whole heartedly!!! No regrets!

Update 3/3/23: Shortly after posting this review Jessica reached out to talk to me about what happened. They refunded me and apologized for the miscommunication. I appreciate that they were proactive about it and got it handled quickly. They earned back a star for being friendly and understanding and proactive.

Original review 3/2/23: I found this business through Yelp and wanted a quote for a part on my a/c that needs to be replaced. I wasn't told there would be a charge for them to come out and give me a quote (seriously who charges for a quote?) so was caught off guard when they wanted to charge me for diagnostics I didn't need because I already know what the problem is. Then they quoted me for an entire system replacement on a unit that's not even 7 years old and didn't quote me for what I asked for. The tech stated that the unit wasn't blowing hot air out of the top and that's why it needs replaced. It's 54 degrees outside of course it's not going to blow hot air out of the top. I'm pretty irritated that I paid money for a service I didn't need/want and got useless information in return. I won't be using these folks for anything in the future.

His response time was amazing. His pricing was uncomplicated & transparent & he gave me great value for what he charged! He’s obviously very experienced - his work was impeccable. He’s such a personable, honest person, truly a pleasure to do business with. This guy really stands out!

Neat, prompt, knowledgeable and personable..very pleased with prompt attention on a Saturday for an emergency plumbing mishap.

We had a sewer leak in our kitchen island and were initially quoted $14k just for the plumbing, (from a one of the best reviewed companies in the valley, don't trust it, get quotes) so we decided to get a second opinion from Kyle and he suggested a more conservative start to figure out the problem, jetted our sewer line and no crack was visible/detected, meaning it just backed out of our clean out. Also meaning, my lack of knowledge was being preyed upon by the other company... Kyle was helpful, professional, quick to respond, most importantly embodied the old school idea that if you take care of your customers, they will take care of you. Don't hesitate, get their second opinion. The $14k quote ended up being $700 (after he discounted by $100 for being done early) and no cutting my slab for no good reason. Still reeling from this outcome, and extremely grateful for Second Opinion and Kyle. It was a Christmas miracle for our family
