I have been with this company since the refrigerated unit was installed. It has been 10 years, and overall I have satisfied with their service . The maintenance services done on the unit yearly, and service calls when the unit needs troubleshooting have all been satisfactory. This past weekend being able to call and be seen in a timely fashion was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this company .

This company has been beyond amazing. We were having trouble with the AC at the home we had just moved into and when I called they had someone come out the next day and help us out. I then had someone come right back out a few days later to install Nest Thermostats and replace filters. Rudy was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They offered a military discount and anytime you call their number you’re greeted with a super friendly customer service representative who is always extremely helpful as well. Unless you want to pay a lot of money for nothing avoid this company and their bad business practices. They will hold out on fixing your unit unless you pay 300.00 extra to open up the wearhouse and get the part if you don't pay you have to wait a a week to get the part. They dont meet there appointments and the communication between the office and the techs is worthless. Half the time they don't know what they are going to fix. After spending over $10,000 with this company I am a very dissatisfied customer.

Professional and personable technician. Clearly explained service.

Mechanical Technologies believes the installation of two mini-split systems in my barn is complete. But it's not. Yet they keeping asking me to post a review.

Yes, the mini-splits have been installed however the circuit breakers were not the right type. Power flows only because the panel cover is pressing on the breakers. The breakers cannot be fully snapped in place. I'm uncomfortable leaving the mini-splits on continuously unattended.

Yes, Mechanical Technologies showed imagination in how the inside units were mounted in an all steel barn. And how they ran the refrigerant and electrical lines that hid them mostly from view. However, the insulation on the refrigerant lines was shredded in places and I don't know how this will affect efficiency.

Yes, the outside units are sort of fastened to the ground but even with my prodding not mounted in a way that I have confidence high winds won't take them away. They were willing to replace the original outside unit pads that are the same size as the outside units with something much larger that could be staked to the ground. Even so, the pads are just concrete looking foam. Hardly any weight to them. Hince the reason I wanted them staked down. But they are foam and easily breakable.

Yes, the mini-splits have been running continuously while I evaluate their ability to cool my barn. Even without adequate insulation (correction by next project), the mini-splits have made a big difference in temperature. However, I need the breakers replaced and need an explanation why one unit stopped cooling for a few hours (no way temperature reached the target).

Yes, I have contacted Mechanical Tecnologies several times and they say I will hear from them but haven't so far.

I had two unique needs, purchase and install a Breezair evap and install a direct vent fireplace for my home. I first pursued the Breezair job with Don. Don was responsive, on time, and provided a good thorough estimate within a reasonable amount of time. All my questions (and I had many) were answered. Alex and his team of installers did a wonderful job. They arrived on time, kept me informed on their progress and cleaned up after themselves. I contacted the office three months later to report a fault indication on the controller panel. The office staff contacted Alex and he responded within the same day and cleared the blockage and the fault. Totally satisfied with their work and responsiveness I then contacted Don again for the next job (fireplace install). Don brought along Raul for the estimate and again I was presented with a reasonable cost estimate. Julian and his assistant Angel accomplished the install with the same professional care and detail I witnessed on the Breezair job. I highly recommend this business.

Absolutely a great company that stands 100% behind their products and installation. Had a few cracks developing around my windows they installed 3 months ago. Called and had the original installation team at my house the next day. Not only did they fix the original problem I called about but went over every window just to make sure everything was sealed up correctly. Will use them again for some other projects in the future.

Basically, install was not done properly. The unit that was installed was not able to cool the area appropriately; according to other reputable companies, it was because of the retrofit job done by Mechanical Technologies. After 2 years and no support, we finally had to pay to have a whole new system put in. Jaime' won't even bother to respond to correspondence. Be very careful before selecting this company.

This is a very professional company. I have used them for many years. (15+) They are never exaggerated in their prices. They are also not the cheapest (but you get what you pay for) I have had them give me the cheapest prices on some repair jobs with the professional service that comes... (they wont (push)/sell you a part for what they can repair). I have hired other companies in between, and I have wished I had hired Mechanical Technologies based on their work & professionalism. I am a true customer because of this. This is an Honest company that will give you good service. If you have a complaint they will follow up and help resolve the issue.

They provided me the best service, pricing, and warranty compared to 9 other contractors/companies I requested quotes and contracted services.

They charged $160 to fix the air conditioner which later broke so i had to call them again and left it worse than the first time i saw and then told me that they would fix it for $220 i said no because it was suspicious that the air conditioner was getting worse and worse so i called someone else and said that who ever had messed with my air conditioner left it in a bad condition, i hope it wasnt unpurpose but i wouldnt hire them again.

HVAC system had a small problem with line freezing. After the visit from this company, the unit broke with more problems. After buying new parts to include a NEW MOTOR, my HVAC is finally working. Not to mention the cost.
Bad bad service leads to bad spending/review.
Only time I will call back is for the warranty in which I am sure will fail. Never going back to this business nor recommending to anyone.

Was looking to replace my 2 ton refrigerated AC unit and Mech Tech (Joel) came by my home to give me an estimate for a 5 ton system. Let me tell you, not only was he very knowledgeable but his professionalism, and the way he kept me posted about the entire process before, during and after was amazing. I highly recommend Mechanical Technologies to everyone if you want a great job done right by great honest people. There needs to be more employees like Joel in El Paso honestly. Great job to whoever hired him, he deserves a raise, an award both if possible.

Rudy and his apprentice Saul came out for what I thought was a quick fix. My heater was blowing out cold air, what I thought was the ingnitor swith issue turned in it to something completely different. Rudy found a propane leak in the piping that 3 other companies did not find when they came out. He fixed the propane leak and went back to the issue I called them for. Turns out the original installer failed to convert the unit from gas to propane which was causing the system to shutdown as a safety feature. Since this company did not install it I am waiting for the installer to come in and fix the issue. I was very happy with the service Rudy provided. He was very informative and answered all of my questions while also taking time out to explain everything. Thank you Rudy and Saul for your hard work and dedication.

Made an emergency appointment they scheduled me for 3 days after the call was made. When the day was here they did not show up they did not communicate with us about this and when we called they pushed the time back 2 hours then when the two hours came up still nothing. I wouldn’t call them unless you want to waste a whole afternoon waiting around for them in a hot house.

Very responsive and professional, and also honor the warranty. The A/C (HVAC) was not working properly in the morning and during the day the temperature will be at 100+. So I called them at 8am and the technician arrived by 10am. They realized that the Control Board needed to be replaced. So the next day it was replaced in the evening. The A/C is working great. I really appreciate the prompt response and the professionalism!

We bought a new home and had Mechanical Technologies do a maintenance check on the heating system. The technologist who came out to do the service was Mundo. He was GREAT!! Not only did he check the system, but he was very thorough in teaching us how to use the thermostat, about the importance of the filters (and where they were!!), etc. He gave rationales instead of just telling us what to do. Rudy is the best he came and saw the issue, had to get the whole unit swapped. Mine was from 2004 after converting house from evaporative cooling. Long story short it was great took them about 6 hours and they cleaned up really well after themselves.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with mechanical technologies. Started ac conversion on June 30th. The went mostly smooth but the electrical upgrade has been a nightmare. They are STILL not done so I will come back and give full/final review once that is finally done. Absolutely terrible company when it comes to communicating. Lots of headache could've been avoided with proper communication and proper planning.

Daniel from Mechanical Technologies came out for maintenance on my heater and while he was here, discovered a gas leak I’m my hot water heater line. He went to three different stores to find a new line and got it fixed within two hours. Definitely went above and beyond.

We have been using Mechanical Technologies for the past 10 years. They are always professional and courteous. Their technicians never leave a mess.

I purchased a carrier cooling and heating system from them a couple of years ago. It has worked well with a couple of maintenance calls required. This Sunday night the blower fan went. Tech came out on Tuesday and said motor had to be ordered. The supply house wasn't responding. Come to find out that the part has been ordered but won't get here until Friday. I am scheduled for Saturday. I told them my indoor temps are at above 90 degrees. Didnt bother to expedite. Poor customer service

We are very thankful to Senor Technician Rudy; even though, he arrived late at about 1:00 pm on a pre-scheduled appointment timeframe between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Rudy did really good work with proper explanation of all that was accomplished. I did not know that adding refrigerate was considered a repair instead of maintenance, which I believed was work included in the yearly plan. Also, I learned that one maintenance visit was removed from future yearly plans, if I decide to purchase another one. After a few years of loyalty, I will shop for another maintenance plan. They did not communicate with each other so I had to wait an extra two days for completion of repair. Blower motor gave out after 2 1/2 years and was under warranty so part was free. Labor however was $575. But, the Carrier unit is back to normal. Thank you.

Very Incompetent or dishonest technicians. I called for repair of air-conditioning they came out and told me I needed a new compressor which would cost about $28000 later they said they couldn't find a replacement part because it was an R22 and nowhere in El Paso could be found. They say I needed a whole new unit for $4500. I found a good guy who came later and replaced a capacitor for $125 and said compressor was fine and was never tested because capacitor was out.

We highly recommend Mechanical Technologies. Daniel has been out to our house a few times. He has always been on time, professional, and has done great work. He found a leak in the evaporator coil. He replaced it (which turned out to be more of a pain than expected) for a reasonable cost. When we informed them that this didn't fix the problem, Daniel was back the next day (even during a really hot busy time in summer), found another leak that was slow enough that it was not detected the first time, fixed it, and recharged the system for no additional cost. I would gladly do business with this company for any of our HVAC needs.

Hate is such a strong word, I really do not like using it. Let me see if I can get this right. Two units installed in October 2015, one of the units goes bad in April and the following parts were replaced;TXV Valve, Compressor, and my fan motor. This replacement fan motor is much small than what was originally on my unit when it was installed. This replacement fan is also a lot nosier than the one that originally came on my unit. I WANT THE ORIGINAL FAN MOTOR PUT BACK ON MY UNIT. This same unit goes bad and stops cooling again last week, a tech comes out today (5/24/16) makes some repairs and tells me my unit is working fine. WELL IT'S NOT, this same unit will not even cool my house to 74 degrees. I do not know what the problem is or where the disconnect is at Mechanical Technologies but it will be greatly appreciated if you guys could get it together. How many times do I have to take off of work before someone figures out where the problem is and fixes it the right way. How many times do I have to call in before someone says hey maybe we just need to replace this whole unit? My phone # should be posted on the wall, I look forward to hearing from someone immediately with a solid plan of action.

The technician told me Mechanical Technologies would be emailing as well as mailing my Paid Invoice. The technician also mentioned I have a 10 year warranty on the product. However, when I contacted them the next day, Mechanical Technician had no record on the service/product they provided and therefore could not send me an invoice. I DO NOT recommend this company!

No joke. When your ac shuts down or doesn't cool it can make you cranky. My house was taking forever to cool down and on Friday around 4 pm it stops working. I called every ac repair place and everyone wanted to charge 3 times their rate to come out on a weekend. I called this place and first told me they had no appointments left this weekend. I was bummed.when about 5 min later I get a call back saying they can come the next day between 3 and 6. On a sat. . We'll sat comes along and they call saying they can be here at 12. Thank god it was getting so warm. Needless to say it was fixed in about 45 min. Reasonably priced especially for a Saturday. Can't thank you guys enough. My tech was super nice.

We had two different homes services by Mechanical Technologies. Service was completed in an efficient manner and technicians at both homes were very knowledgeable and efficient. I scheduled & purchased a Lennox heater, Lennox refrigerated air thru Lowe’s. I was told I would get a discount from water company as well as veterans discount and an upgraded thermostat without increased charges from Mechanical Technologies. Later Lowe’s called to make “adjustments “ to fees. I found out that the discounts promised to me were removed & I was charged much more. This company makes promises to get your business but doesn’t keep them. Beware. The install was July-Aug 2020. I called to get heat setup in January 2021. Since my home is 61 years old, I asked about the city inspection. It was never done. My electric box was out of code & needed upgrading. Finally got electric upgraded. The day of electric company inspection was a bad icy day, my back yard & side of house was slippery so I cancelled inspection. After rescheduling, work was done, then electric company cancelled on me without my knowledge. I called Mechanical Technologies. Flor told me she would check if inspection was done. Didn’t hear back, so I called again a few days later. Darlene returned my call & asked when I would be home for electric company to inspect their work. We scheduled today April 6 th 2021. 2 nice men from Mechanical Technologies came to change a switch before Electric Company arrived. Apparently the switch had to be special ordered & arrived 2 weeks ago. ??? This is my concern. Why did 9 months pass before getting electricity up to code? Had I not asked for the city inspection would my home still be @ 60 amperes instead of the 100 amperes that is presently required by the city? After paying over $12,000, I expected better quality service. Since temperatures soared on Friday, I turned on AC. All I had was blowing hot air. I changed the filters, reset the thermostat. Only HOT AIR BLEW OUT. I set thermostat to 68 degrees. Temp in house was 85-88. Only 9 months passed & hot air blowing. All week will be in the 80’s. Over $12,000 for a very poor outcome. I’m 65, female Veteran. I went thru Lowe’s to take advantage of my military discount & charge card. Won’t do that again. I was told supervisor Luis would come by today between 12:00 & 2pm check AC. Hopefully, this will be covered under warranty

Although a tech left without notifying us that AC installationwas complete, we called the main line with our concerns and were taken care of promptly with professional service. There was a leak that was caused by installation of a faulty water level monitor, but when we called to report the issue, we were taken care of the next day.

Mundo Flores was absolutely great. After calling around, many people were only willing to install a tankless water heater but not repair them. Within 5 minutes he was able to diagnose the problem and show me the importance of the maintenance. He is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend him anytime.

Bad experiences with this company. I bought an AC through Lowes and this is who they partnered with for the install. I got the unit last year and have had nothing but issues with it. It freezes up constantly at Temps it should be able to handle. However every time I have called (although the people answering the phones aren't the most helpful or friendly) the techs have always come right out and have been helpful. They are now installing another intake vent to the unit so it has better airflow and this should take care of the issue but would have been nice if this was thought of during the install. Overall; with the issues with the install and susquent issues every time with getting then to come out and comminciation I would recommend you find another company to use

Prompt service, answered relevant questions re refrigerated unit, did not carry filter size for this unit, office notified. Luckily I had extra filter available.

My experience with MT was great, from the quoting professional that came out to my house to the installers. After agreeing to purchase the mini-split unit I became apprehensive as I wanted to make sure I received what we were expecting. The Installers were very professional and the finished work was A++. Its nice to know that some local vendors can meet and exceed high standards.

These guys are absolutely awesome. They weren't able to get out here until Thursday, May 2nd according to their scheduling, but Lino and Sid took it upon themselves to come over on a Saturday to do the install of an entirely new system. They were absolutely professional and extremely friendly. They answered every single question my wife and I had. They went above and beyond to correct some minor things that the previous air conditioning company had left. They also did the housekeeping necessary after the install was complete. This company was recommended by my neighbor and judging from the reviews I read I must have been one of the customers that “fell through the cracks”. Our system simply stopped working and called them. They quickly found the problem and the tech advised we would be called to advise when the part would be ordered and when to expect it in. That’s where everything fell apart. Three weeks later and not a single call from them; We had to initiate every single call, not once did we hear from them. We finally got things on track but had to really get stern, ask to speak to a supervisor and all. Hate doing that but really not a positive experience for a first time customer!

This was a very time consuming and frustrating install. Only one person was send for the job. The first part took 9 hours and the second part on a separate day took over 7 hours. The whole house installation wasn't able to be done completely as the installer couldn't find the main water supply. So was just installed on the hot water heater. Justin was very polite and helpful but he could have used an assistant.

This company saved us from drowning with worries about a leaking water heater from a 1 day call to nect day repair.

After installing the insulation in the attic, they proceeded to clean the duct system being very careful not to damage any furnishings. We did get a bit of dust in the air, but that was to be expected, the duct system had never been cleaned before. I don’t know how much Jose earns, but whatever it is it’s not enough! He is one though young man. As you well know, having major work done in a home can be a stressful experience. You and your fellow team mates made the experience much easier. Finally I would like to thank you for your professionalism and honesty.

Gave them over 6 chances to repair a unit they previously installed 4 years ago. I was charged $800.00 for parts that didn’t fix the problem. Had already paid them $260 for servicing the unit. Supervisor never came to check out the repairs to get the unit fixed. Only good thing they have done is to Refund $600 and an apology card, but after several sleepless nights due to the heat the apology is not enough. I have paid a different company 1/4 of the price and they fixed the unit the first visit and repaired the bad wiring causing the problem. I feel financially cheated by mechanical technologies

STOP!!! Get someone else. Do not hire this company. The manager/owner of this company is Jaime Zubiate and I spoke to him on the phone. He has some really bad office staff that will forget you and waste your time. He will make NO ATTEMPT to correct any situation and he will not accept direct questions about his lack of service. He will not even attempt to find out what the issue is. Instead he will deny everything and and tell you that he will not provide you service. I had two technicians come out to do my service, the lead tech told me I needed a part and he himself made the call to get the part. It was Friday and the tech said the part was available but I had to wait for Monday. I told him that it would be fine. On Monday after I called at noon I was told that the technicians were busy with other calls and they would have to schedule me in after two weeks. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. This business is a clear example of non professionalism and a crooked lazy owner. Even his own technicians openly complained about the office staff and their inability to manage calls correctly. There are plenty of other companies out there - DO NOT waste your time with this one. Also - Check the positive reviewers on this company. They are posting FALSE Positive reviews. Check Yelp, Every review is negative. Jaime Zubiate is siesta oriented - Beware!

I usually go to this business for all my swamp cooler issues. This time the individual that came only took 10 minutes to diagnose the issue..that’s fine. He said it was a quick fix. That great. But he takes off and the rest of the day the swamp cooler doesn’t work.. it is blowing hot air and no water is distributing.

I call the company again. They send the guy back at the end of his route. We attempted to fix it ourselves. But now the nuts are excessively tightened so we couldn’t open the swamp cooler.

He shows up at 8 and tells us that he readjusted the water flow. He took 10 minutes again and left.

Next day, the water is still not adjusting, its 110 outside and 102 in the house. We attempted to fix it ourselves again. He tightened the nuts AGAIN.

End of the day, the neighbors helped me for free. If I’m going to spend 102$ for a house call and you do not even help me, I’m going to be extremely disappointed. Don’t waste my time.

M Tech has great customer service! The furnace in my rental decided to give out on the coldest nights but Sid showed up on time and drove to the East side and back to install the part. Sid and David are Professional and Courteous. The ladies in the office are great as well. Called to remind me of the appointments and follow up calls as well.

After about 10 years with an old AC unit that died, we had it replaced with a new carrier unit from mechanical Technologies. I chose them to replace the unit since we have used them for years to do our regular HVAC maintenance. And one thing I want to tell you is that they really go out of their way to help the customer. One time my little dog got out on them when they came to do some work , and the technician chase the dog down for two blocks to bring him back safely to me. They truly have a very dedicated and caring staff at mechanical Technologies!

I’ve been using this company for maintenance on my HVAC system for over a year. Used them quite a few times for water heater, etc. I needed some vent caps installed on the outside of my house. First I was quoted, $600+ to replace vent caps (3 of them) and to clean the piping. Couldn’t afford that during the pandemic since I was out of work. Called last week to just have the 3 vent caps replaced and was told $90. My appointment came around and no one showed up so I called in. Was told the tech called off. Rescheduled for Friday. They came out today and replaced 1. The tech then replaced a second one with the vent caps I bought. All 3 were supposed to be replaced for $90. Now I’m being told to have that 3rd one fixed, it’ll be an additional $110. Why am I being punished for one of your employees messing up and giving me incorrect information?? I triple checked to make sure it was $90 for 3 vent caps. I also triple checked to make sure they knew it was 3 vent caps and not one. I paid the $90 for today, but I will not pay for the 3rd one. Which has no vent cap on at all because the tech took it so it’s just a big gaping hole.

and to have my tankless water heater serviced. After the duct cleaning , their is a sealing that diminishes leaks.

My thermostat went out during a heavy snow. They got here as fast as they could and ran a check to make sure the furnace was fine. They went out and found a thermostat and came back and got it installed. Made sure everything was good. Polite. Friendly. Professional. Excellent!

My water heater had gone out during the worst heat wave in decades. Mechanical Technologies was the only company that would come out in a timely manner. Through a miscommunication a wrong water was installed. They a admitted their mistake and corrected it the next day with an upgraded unit. Splendid behavior from the owner and company.

I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company. Customer is a crucial element of business success. Every contact your customers have with your business is an opportunity for you to improve your reputation with them and increase the likelihood of further sales.

Mechanical Technologies of El Paso failed to satisfied me (the customer). I purchased two Refrigerated Air split unit for my home. I paid cash, the checks were cashed and deposit in their company account and I have been getting the Run Around by the company staff.

On May 13, 2014, Mechanical Technologies contractor were supposed to clean the air ducks, replaced the vents, and balance the air, however, they arrived at the house at 9 am instead of the scheduled time of 8 am. According to the contractor in charge he stated that they were instructed to attended a company meeting. That day the work was not finished because the work was to be completed by noon, and since they arrived late they weren’t able to complete the duck work.

That afternoon the El Paso City Inspector arrived to inspect the installation of the Refrigerated Airs, he inspected the units and found deficiencies that needs to be fix. Before the inspector departed my home he told me that he was going to RED TAG the units. Mechanical Technologies Office Staff was informed and they send a Company Supervisor over to my house. I explained the deficiencies to him and he promised to have someone on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at noon to fix them. I also talked to the Mechanical Technologies Contractor for the duck work, and we agreed to have the work done on May 17, 2014, also at noon.

On May 17, 2014, at 11:30 am, I called the Mechanical Technologies Office Staff to verified and confirmed that the contractors were going to be here at noon. The receptions told me that she will call me back. At 12:30 pm I decided to call back because, no one had call. The staff in the office told me that the vent contractor was on his way over and that the deficiencies would not be able to be done today, because the supervisor that came over to my house is no longer with the company and they did not have a crew.

I am most annoyed that I wasted an afternoon. My impression of your Company has been tarnished. Finally, I got tired of waiting and of the Run Around in at 1:00 pm I called your staff office and I told them to cancelled the work for today. And for them to have the Manager In Charge call me on Monday, so we could scheduled these appointments AGAIN.

I trust this is not the way Mechanical Technologies wishes to conduct business with valued customers.

We are always pleased to have Daniel come service our system. He takes a personal interest in its upkeep and is genially concerned with any issues that we have. Daniel had a trainee with him Saul. He was quiet and attentive, and paid attention to the instructions he was given. We wish him the best in his career.

Mechanical Technologies respond to my call in an expeditious manner and with top notch professionalism. The tech that was sent out explained everything to me in a manner that I could clearly understand. I highly recommend them for any HVAC issues.

I do not recommend this place, they do not care about anyone and just like to rip people off, if you want an honest company who won’t charge you an arm and a leg then go else where.

Mechanical Technologies has taken care of my units since installation. Mundo has been more than helpful and takes the time to explain to me what he has done. He is a delightful and very professional. Price was wayyyy) too high, mechanical technologies wanted to charge me 750, aside from the 109 service charge so making it a total of 859 plus tax, to fix a broken fan on my 5 ton package roof unit, when I got it fixed for 200 bucks. I still had to pay the 109 for the service fee, and I paid it and still came out wayyy cheaper, total of 309. Won’t call again.

I Googled this company and their hours said they were open. 24 hours but when I called the person that answered was an answering service and didn't know anything and I needed someone asap. Needed someone to check if I had a carbon monoxide leak so couldn't wait for someone to call me back. Sorry but if there was zero stars I would have rated it 0 stars

This company deserves higher than a 5 star rating. First off, for the past two days the office would call to remind me of my appointment (very convenient and professional). The day if my appointment the office called to let me know the technician daniel was on his way. Once Daniel arrived he was very professional and explained everything he was doing and working on. He did not just start working on the heater leaving me out of the loop. He educated me on proper fernace maintenance, filter changes and when they should be changed out. He checked the motor and evening checked the entire house for carbon monoxide levels. All in all I felt Daniel went above and beyond my levels of expectations as well as professionalism. He was extremely knowledgeable and based on that I would not even consider going with another company.

Daniel is the Tech that worked on my Parents' heating and cooling system. He is very thorough and is a seasoned professional. My Son had referred me to this company and I'm glad I get them to work on the HVAC system.

Technician that serviced my tankless water heater was knowledgeable. However, I believe I was way over charged for the services render. Technician performed a diagnostic check a week before the and indicated what was wrong, this took him about 30 minutes to determine the problem. The parts were then order and came in about a week later. They used my credit card information to order the parts which cost around $44.00 The tech returned when the parts came in and he installed them. It took him about 15 minutes to install them and another 15 minutes to run hot water threw the system to make sure things were operating ok. This 30 minutes of work cost me 380.00 dollars of labor which is outrageous for such a minor problem. Be careful when using this company. With the diagnostic fee, parts, and 30 minutes of labor I paid $519.00 for installing a $44.00 dollar part.

Made an appointment in the morning and had a tech out to check my AC the same afternoon. Diagnosis was quick and they were able to repair my unit within a few hours. Tech was knowledgeable and walked me through the issue and repairs. I just recently purchased my home and the tech was helpful enough to give me an idea of how old the units were. Probly will use them for regular maintenance as well.

I am a retired Construction Project Manager with hospital building experience, and have installed HVAC systems in ICU's and Pharmacies (one is negative, the other positive pressure) as well as OR's and Catherization Labs.
Mechanical Technologies honored a quote from 3 months ago. Easy to work with, Mechanical Technologies cleaned my ducts and then Aerosealed my duct system. The price was fair for the labor, equipment, and materials that were used on my home. Their technicians explained the process and were very understanding of my many questions, they did not leave until they fixed an unrelated low volume issue that they noticed. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

So happy that I have hot water again. Julian was fast and on time.

so I had 2 free maintenance visits for my air conditioning unit for a year. I called even though the year had passed (by one day. I totally forgot my anniversary date.) for the second visit. they told me not to worry and the would still honor the 2nd free visit when it's time to use the heater. they're b been nothing but awesome from the beginning

Two stars because my ac fan is still not moving.
I appreciate the excellent customer service, I do. The man you sent out was very easy to talk to, explained what and why he was doing things. But.
He said it was just matinence, change your filter, keep an eye on the water. And it ran well for the last few days. And now the fan is not going again. I might go with someone else, cause I'm not gonna pay 200$ again so you can disregard the issue I kept trying to explain.

The tech explained all the work on he was doing. Provided advice on maintenance of the ac and water heater.

Had then come out to check a not cooling issue with my AC, said it was low on refrigerant so charged it and said if there is ab issue with it leaking they would refill if within six months. Issue comes back 2 months later then say it's my txv valve and charge $2510 which includes refrigerant that should have been included within the 6 months and then say they don't give itemized receipts that explains the cost of parts and labor!! Manager is unprofessional and I will never use them again or recommend them!!

Mr. David Najera came from Mechanical Technology to perform maintenance on our heating/cooling system. He took his time and explained what he was doing to the system as he performed the work. He was very professional from the beginning until the time that he completed the work. I would recommend him highly. Mechanical Technology should be proud of having an employee of his caliber.

Excellent Job. They installed my tankless w/h within the promised time of 4 hours. Removed and hauled away my old unit. Cleaned area and re-textured a section of wall that had been patched. Highly recommend this company because you will get a high quality and detailed install.

Needed the entire air supply duct for my AC replaced. From start to finish, I am very happy with the work Mechanical Technologies did. Vladimir and Alma did an amazing job. Vladimir did a great job getting the duct put in quickly and efficiently. And Alma did a wonderful job with the drywall. Highly recommend!!

Most expensive! Paid over $2000 for installation alone on installation of evaporative cooler! Never received paperwork on supposedly new AC and new motor so can't register for warranty! I'm a Senior citizen and wife is on disability maybe that's why they took advantage! Lowe's referred! Shop elsewhere!

Our technician was friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. He let us know what was going on, what the diagnosis was and the anticipated cost. In the height of the triple digit summer he kept working until we were repaired and ready to go. Great seeing!

Adding had an unrelated issue pop up. Again, prompt friendly service in the middle of a heat wave! Couldn’t ask for more. Our friendly knowledgeable tech was great. I won’t call any other company.
