Sean Anderson and the crew at MountainScapers did a fantastic job transforming our drab, rock-filled front courtyard into a charming little botanical garden filled with a variety of palm trees, cacti custom-made planters and flowers. We had a vague idea of what we wanted, and Sean quickly came up with a concept that clarified the possibilities on both scale and content. His highly professional crew kept the project on time, making little adjustments along the way to accommodate our occasional whims. We could not be happier with the outcome and would happily recommend MountainScapers to anyone looking for a first-class landscaping company.

We recently completed a patio makeover which included a lot of demolition, engineering and design and building an outdoor fireplace, plants, fire bowl, planter bowls, sprinkler system, lighting and travertine patio & stacked stone. We started with another landscaper and had to terminate them due to fraud. Chris at Lone Star stepped in and helped us start over. Wow! What an amazing job they all did (Chris, office staff & laborers)! They were all so professional and hard-working and made sure every detail we wanted done was taken care of in a timely manner. We also added some additional work in the front yard once they got started. Our back yard is so beautiful and now a true outdoor living space. We still can't believe it's our yard when we look out the windows. It only enhanced our view of the golf course and mountains. We would recommend them to anyone needing work. They have great resources and are so knowledgeable in their work. We are definitely calling on Lone Star for our next project (hopefully Phase 2 of the rest of the yard). It is so comforting to know they do have your best interests in mind. Chris never recommended something that was questionable. Jamie in the office was always more than willing to help with any detail, always seeing it through to the end. The laborers were so professional and had a wonderful attitude, even though they are working outside in 110 degree sun. THANK YOU LONE STAR for an amazing job!!

Start to finish they were great. Very professional, always on time, and the end result was great. Many neighbors have also used them and everything has turned out looking awesome.

Requested a quote. Received a long email explaining their minimum project size is $10k and if I was willing to spend that then I could call to schedule a consult. I did and got a long talking to about how landscaping costs money, clients don’t usually understand the costs involved, etc. It was just shy of insulting because you already prefaced that in an email. I tried to explain that I have done some research and had a quote from 9 months ago that was high but my concept changed and I didn’t have wholistic design. The owner sounded bitter that he does so many quotes and people change their minds. Why offer free quotes and then treat every potential customer like they are going to waste your time? At the point I was almost annoyed he said he’d have his guy contact me about the project. Never heard from him. No follow up.

I signed with someone who is excited to beautify an ugly urban patio of a historic home in a historic district. He never mentioned a minimum. Cost will be 25k.

Seemed very nice and were professional when i spoke with them, but they don't actually remove weeds unless they are 2 inches or taller. They spray spurge and clumps of grass under 2 inches, so then you end up with dry dead weeds that you have to clean up yourself. I was expecting more for $110. Not what I was looking for personally and wish that was made clear upfront. Attached pictures are from after my yard was serviced today.

The team at Capstone laid a whole paver driveway for me. Great work. Amazing results of how it transformed the curb appeal of my home. Very timely and cleaned up all leftover materials and waste. And the best part was the price. Got 5 quotes and they were the best. I will be back.

Horrible job! Came to do a one time clean up and still had sticks and leaves all over! Didnt even make sure the driveway was completely clear of debris. And tons of leaves and debris under the bushes!! Dont waste your time or money!

Crew at southern and priest blowing up leaves and dust down outside of iqor continued to blow full blast over the bus stop coating us in dust, dirt and garbage. After we say something he lowers level goes around. We turn to truck, point out number and attempt to take image of it, second worker moves truck to other side of lot.
First worker turns around starts blowing other direction and continues right into bus waiting area again.

Great foresight and spacial awareness! Never calling this company, can't imagine what other corners they cut.

This has been my best experience to date for a good sized landscaping project. Adam and his team swept in like a tornado, re-graded my side yard / added a long raised planter / new BBQ pad / paver patio & walkway. They are great to work with, excellent knowledge and suggestions.
