Great company and excellent service ?

After spending a good amount of time looking for a good company to install my new deck railing I finally decided to go with this one, and I'm happy to say that it was the right choice. They do awesome work!

Justin and his crew did a wonderful job installing travertine over our old patio. I am a very picky guy and had a few concerns at the beginning. But all of my worries were for nothing and the patio came out perfectly. There were four of us homeowners who had our patios done at the same time and we all love the outcome. I would highly recommend Arrowhead Deck and Pools and Justin’s team to anyone who is looking for the best quality. Thanks guys, we love our patios!

Hi there I have a lotto say about this company I could leave a long review but to sum it up in a few words did what they said they where going to do and with no hidden surprises awesome ???

After receiving five estimates to repair and resurface the decking around my 14 year old pool, I decided to have NLKD do the job. Dave the owner came to my home and after examining my deck, gave me an estimate which was $1000.00 lower than my highest estimate. He explained what process he uses and it was the same that everyone else uses. NLKD had good reviews so I decided that I would contract with them. Dave said that when he got back to the office, he would check their calendar to see when they could start. Kelly contacted me from the office and said they could start on 9-14-22 and the job would take 2-3 days. The crew, Brandon and Angel were due to arrive between 8 & 9 on the 14th. The office contacted me on the 13th to advise me that they were running a little behind on a previous job and the crew would be at my home a couple of hours late on the 14th. ( most companies don’t let you know and leave you guessing). Anyway, they showed up at approx. 11:00 and immediately went to work. These two workers are the best that I have ever encountered. They did not waste any time getting started and had my pool bubble wrapped in no time and masked everything around the pool that could have received overspray from the process they used. On Friday, the 16th, Brandon and Angel finished my Kool Deck resurfacing and it looks better than it ever has. Brandon and Angel uncovered the pool, removed all of the masking that they had done and cleaned up any mess that they had made while completing the job. I cannot say enough good things about these two guys.
One other thing I would like to mention is the honesty and integrity of this company. When Dave examined my decking for the estimate.he found several areas where he felt that the cement was deteriorating and that those areas would require extra attention and a special coating to seal it. On the estimate this was a $300 charge. I asked Brandon how the cement looked after he finished grinding the coating off. He said that it looked fine and and didn’t feel that the special coating was going to be necessary after all. I mentioned this to Dave Sheehan, the owner, and he said that since Brandon felt that it wasn’t necessary, I had a refund of $300.00 coming back. A few days later Dave stopped by and presented me with my refund. Again, I cannot say enough good things about this company and his employees and highly recommend them to anyone that may need the type of concrete repair that they do. It should also be noted that I am not affiliated with or compensated by this company.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

They renovated our townhouse. A complicated job was done smoothly and with great care. Thanks to the manager for his excellent project management skill.

What a difference. I had Bob and his crew put a new coating on my pool deck. I opted for a flagstone pattern to match the existing decor. They did a great job and delivered exactly what was promised. I have more projects in the garage and front yard that Bob will definitely be doing. Thanks again.

Great people to work with

This company is great. They did our patio a couple of years ago. We had them come back to extend the patio. We love the space now.

Met with Sean and he impressed us with his passion and talent for landscaping. He brought fresh ideas to the table and it was clear his energy for the project was infectious. While we weren't able to use him for this project because of budget reasons, we will definitely check him out for future projects.

Great work. We love our kitchen remodel. Owner and employees are very easy to work with. Very trustworthy.

Buildco transformed our backyard. As soon as I made the phone call they came out to discuss our ideas on the yard, gave a fair estimate in a timely manner and started and completed the project as scheduled. From the initial estimate with Gary to discussing the project throughout its duration with Joe to open and clear communication with Rosemary for payments, we could not be happier that we went with this company. Professional and skilled workmanship that we are so excited to show off to family and friends. Highly recommend!

Mike and his Builders Express Handyman employees have done lots of work on our house over the years: installing vinyl replacement windows, complete Master Bathroom remodel, installing sky lights, etc. I have never once regretted having them do this work! So reliable, honest and a pleasure to work with.

I recently used WB Design Build, to design a pickleball court in our back yard. Their expertise and service was phenomenal.

I would highly recommend to use WB Design Build if you are designing a pickleball court, pool or doing any hardscape in your back yard.
