Best Install Flooring in Phoenix AZ

This summer, Arrowhead resurfaced our pool and spa, tiled the waterline and edge, resurfaced the pool surround and patio and replaced our spa heater. The project manager was so helpful with advice and finding economical crews to do some plumbing and tree work and was just all around pleasant to work with. The crews were amazing-fast work and high quality. Can't recommend them highly enough. I'd give them 10 stars if that were possible.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

I used them to renovate 2 small bathrooms after a mold removal was done. I was in contact with Ali and George. I doubt I will use them again and won’t refer anyone to them.
I thought it was a lot of money to pay since one of the bathrooms wasn’t a full renovation but I needed it done and didn’t have time to shop around. The work was ok, but the communication was awful. The first incident was when I went to the house, it didn’t look like anything had been done after 3 days. I finally reached out to Ali who explained the situation. I then told him that he needs to keep customers updated. After they “finished” the job, I went over to the house to find the shower doors hadn’t been put back on the walk in shower. I texted both Ali and George. After receiving no response, I called Ali and he stated that the shower doors didn’t fit and that they didn’t know I wanted them back on and that wasn’t included in the contract. He also said that would be extra. I had texted George and told him earlier but received no response from him.
Apparently, they also don’t know how to measure because I now have a lot of extra drywall that I have to pay them for and I doubt I will ever use.
I am definitely not happy with the experience.

What an amazing company! Great work, my home is now gorgeous! Kind, professional owner and employees! I bought a home with many issues. They replaced tile, had quartz counters installed in bathrooms and kitchen, installed custom backsplash that they designed especially for me, changed light fixtures inside and outside, installed blinds, changed out large mirrors and did landscaping! They did all this at a better price than any other quote. Hard working and super polite employees. I highly recommend this company!!!!

Buildco transformed our backyard. As soon as I made the phone call they came out to discuss our ideas on the yard, gave a fair estimate in a timely manner and started and completed the project as scheduled. From the initial estimate with Gary to discussing the project throughout its duration with Joe to open and clear communication with Rosemary for payments, we could not be happier that we went with this company. Professional and skilled workmanship that we are so excited to show off to family and friends. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a handyman in Phoenix and these guys were the first I called. I’m from California but I own a few properties in Phoenix AZ and needed a handyman to do regular maintenance and repairs on my properties. First visit Jake showed up and gave me the breakdown over the phone with the repairs I needed and told me it will take him about a week to get everything done. HE WAS DONE IN TWO DAYS did all the stucco patches, drywall repairs and paint interior and exterior. Since than I’ve been using Jake on all of my projects, we have been working together for over 2 years and I can’t say enough good words about these guys and Jake particularly. Last project he did for me was a 850 SF home addition on a rental property and him and his crew did such an amazing job! if you looking for a Phoenix Handyman or general contractor, you can’t go wrong with these guys!!! Made my dream bathroom come together come to life in no time at all! Very good at explaining options and completing work on my schedule, I’ve had some bad experiences with home improvement in the past but I will definitely call them for future needs!
