Dan the carpet man was fantastic, kind, and efficient. He did a wonderful job with the carpets in a speedy amount of time. My carpets haven't looked this good since I moved in. I highly recommend Dr. Chem-Dry and I strongly suggest getting Dan Koedyker as your carpet man!

At first, our service with Poolman was quite satisfactory. They were recommended to us by my sister-in-law, and once we saw that they will instal a free salt water system we were instantly sold. Over the course of time, we started noticing the service going down hill. I had contacted customer service when I had finally had enough. The pool technician always stayed parked out in the front of our house for at least 15-20 minutes (no big deal there) but would only spend five minutes flat in our backyard. Our security cameras capture what time he comes in and when he departments. He clearly couldn't see us inside, because then he would've bothered to skim the pool and empty the basket; which is part of the service that we pay for.
When I had called customer service, they stated that a manager would be coming out to check his work without him knowing and to address our algae problem. Well, he didn't show up the day we were told, he was apparently scheduled for a different day. The day that he did show up, he stated he had no knowledge of having to check the technicians job. He shocked the pool and stated he would be back the next day to check if that was enough or if the algae required more. Well... he never showed the next day! My husband gave them a call, and guess what! They said it wasn't necessary for him to come back. Then why did he guarantee my husband that he would come back to follow up?
Then the next week, another manager comes out. She also had no knowledge as to having to check the technician's job. She checked the chemical balance and when my husband went inside to check on the dogs, by the time he came out she had left. He still had questions that now once again, were being left unanswered (yes that I will say was more on him than her for going inside). The one thing she did reassure him about was that the technician is supposed to leave a paper after service, which he had not been doing for a long time.
This was a few weeks ago; fast forward to this past week. We get our service done on Mondays, and when my husband had asked weeks ago if we could get a different technician he basically told that is impossible. Our most recent service was on August 17, 2020. The pool technician (surprisingly) left a paper stating which service he had completed, which included emptying of the basket. Which, low and behold, when I had checked, the basket was at max capacity. I understand some leaves would be in there no matter what, but it was still as full as it had been the night before. And, of course, the algae issue still has not been resolved. It's actually GETTING WORSE.
Poolman has proven to us that they are quite incompetent with their service. They do not care to correct issues that they caused (as there was no algae in the pool until we started using Poolman) and when an employee of their's obviously can't do their job properly, they don't seem to care to fix that. There clearly is a lack of communication from the moment you speak with someone on the phone, to the moment a manager or technician shows up. The free salt water system is absolutely awesome; but it's not worth it!
Do yourself a favor and find yourself a reputable company. Even if they charge a little more than Poolman does, I'm sure it'll be a company that genuinely enjoy's their job and cares about keeping customers.
