WOW! I feel like i was just on an episode of The Lone Ranger as my wife and I watched Jim and Bryan drive away into the sunset! We are renters and stood in for the landlord who is selling the home we rent(that has cracks in the foundation). Jim is incredibly knowledgeable man!! First and foremost he has PASSION. Broken down it spells PASS I ON! Jim shares his knowledge and then some; A walking encyclopedia if you will. He is into fixing the problem and not putting a band aid on it. He was incredibly thorough and knows his stuff. He was upfront about the issues, was not overbearing, and if I ever needed a concrete dude, Jim would be the person I'd call!! 6 out of 5 stars.! SSK Concrete does excellent work. The original plan was to form on Saturday and pour on Monday.
Shawn and his team managed to arrange the pour on Saturday as well.
They arrive at the exact time they said they would. Even let me know they were on their way.
Very professional. High quality work. They accomodated my every requirement. Graded the concrete with the proper slope to ensure water flows away from the house. Even accomodated 4 small footings not in the original plan.
Pricing was as fair as most yet better than some.
I recommend SSK Concrete and his team for any project large or small.

DO NOT use QCC LLC for any work. They are unreliable, no show, and lie about bids. QCC came out multiple times, made bid. Came out again to review the work before starting, changed bid because the scope of work changed. Then came out again the day we agreed to start (after no showing). Changed bid again, this time changed by 50%. Of course UP not down. I allowed them to move forward They left for some reason, were supposed to come back the next day. No showed. Made promises to come back again the day after next. No showed again. Left me with big mess of city inspectors coming, other meetings set up all hinging on this concrete work being completed. They then will not return calls, not show up, not agree to the work they said they would do. Even when I said I would pay the price they changed, even after changing it 50% higher. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and will leave you with a mess. DO NOT HIRE QCC FOR ANYTHING.

Had them come out and bid on a tree trimming service in front of my house. Met with Nick and he was extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable with him and didn’t feel like I was getting “scammed.” Would highly recommend Big Nick’s for anyone that values honesty and work that’s done right.

I had these guys put 125' of curbing in my front yard while I was at work. For the most part it looked pretty good. Its not the best quality concrete mix out there but I'm thinking it will hold up. The first thing I noticed when I got home was a good sized lump right in the middle of my front yard. I contacted them and was told they charge more for any prep work and that their machine will follow the ground. I then told him that if I was contacted telling me there would be a lump in my yard I would have paid to have them take 3 minutes to level out the roughly 2-3 feet of uneven ground. They would not come back to fix it without charging me more which I understand but what I don't understand is it could have taken a 20 second phone call or text to let me know and very easily taken care of.
