As a business management consultant, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a company that operates with such a high level of efficiency and customer communication. Prior to the start of the job, I was kept informed about where we were on the schedule, and each day during the project I received an email with an accounting of percent complete for each section of the job along with photos of their progress. Over the past nine years ABN has painted the exterior of all our single family home rental properties. Alex is extremely professional in his attention to detail from writing the contract all the way through the completion of the work. He always presents me with options and expert opinions that I would have never even considered if he had not brought them to my attention. We had the interior of our house painted and it turned out great. The two painters were very good at protecting the floor with plastic. Removing and replacing wall plates. Masking things like fans and lights. Very neat and tidy. Had the popcorn ceiling in the garage removed and had the garage interior painted as well. From dingy dirty garage to bright clean work space and car sanctuary. Price was fair and reasonable... really felt like I got my money’s worth. I just had my backyard fence stuccoed and plan to contact Marecel’s when it’s time to paint it. My experience leads me to highly recommend.

PS: I think it helped quite a bit that my wife and I moved all the furniture into the center of the rooms, emptied the garage and just made the work space suited for painting. I was paying for painting services, not furniture moving. Again... very pleased with the final product.

This company went above and beyond. As soon as I reached out they responded in a timely manner and never failed their communication. I had a big problem with painters about this in the past and they made it so easy for me. Their work was very efficient and not only that but great on time as well. VanDerKolk did my iron fences. They did a fantastic job. Showed high-level of care and skill, and most importantly integrity. They did what they said they'd do. I would recommend them.

first the good, Carlos is easy to work with. He did a couple of extras for me, which I appreciated.
Now the bad, He asked me if I wanted white cabinets. I told him no! I do not like white cabinets. I gave him the exact color that I wanted, I picked out the color at the paint store. Now the job is completed & I have pure white cabinets in the kitchen & both bathrooms. I think he must have had white paint & just used what he had rather than what I wanted. He said the cabinets would be sanded, primed & painted. In less than a month the paint is already pealing off of the cabinets. I can see they did not sand or prime the cabinets. There are also several areas of trim where the paint is running. There were a few areas of drywall that needed patched. Those areas were patched very badly. Does not blend in to the walls at all, it looks awful.
