I have had a lot of floor finishing done over the years but these guys are by far the best! I have had them do floors in a 2000 sq ft warehouse and two garages and the finish is far better than anything I have seen before. They use a ton of flake and seal it all with a thick clear coating. In the past I have had problems with tire marks on the finish but I have had no issues with this finish. They were in and out quick and clean. I am very impressed with Alan and his crew, I would recommend them with no reservations.

Other than taking 13 hours to do my house the job was fabulous. The two men were terrific. I had a lot of furniture to move and happy to say everything went right back to EXACTLY where it was within millimeters. They measured everything and I am thrilled with their service.

Terribly managed outfit.The installers barely speak english and the owner is too busy to deal with issues that may come up.This company is your typical kind that will secure your work and then sub it out to Julio so they can pay less . Result is poor quality,not done on time and you will have to babysit your own install . That's if who they send to you can speak english.

I have a down sofa that my daughter spit up all over last week. I was really worried to have it cleaned considering it was filled with feathers and would require special cleaning In order not to ruin the sofa completely. I called AZ Carpet and Tile and they actually offered this service and at a very reasonable price. They came out and cleaned my sofa with special products made for this type material. It was clean, dry and smelled amazing when they finished the job. I was very impressed and decided to switch my regular carpet cleanings to their company as well. I would recommend them to anyone no matter how tough the job is or what details need to be considered, they can get it done!

OMG. The service we received was truly amazing.After multiple people from other companies either didn't call back or flaked out on a tough job, Jason from AZ Floor King really came through. He was in constant contact. He was on-time. And he had a can-do professional attitude. In other words, he focused on wanting to solve our problem. He didn't give up and he worked incredibly hard to come up with creative solutions until the job was done right.

I have had this company do complete remodels on my kitchen and two bathrooms. They did a fabulous job and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were meticulous and paid attention to every detail. My master bathroom was taken down to the studs and completely redone. They had great suggestions and ideas but weren't pushy. I have also had them do minor work like replacing my kitchen faucet and disposal. I have never had any problems with this company... I checked them out on Angie's list and they looked like the best service around Phoenix.

I have also had them out to my employer's medical office several times. Always on time, did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. They have repaired cabinets and counters, hung our flat screen TV's in the lobby and worked with our management company (who can be very picky). Their prices were fair and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I used Desert Coatings (DC) to do painted concrete flooring throughout our house back in August or September of 2017. The flooring consisted of a total of approximately 1,700 square feet of flooring. The house that this work was done at was a vacation house at the time, so I wasn’t there to supervise the work when it was done. Other work was being done at the house by another contractor at the same time. Overall, the final finished floor was okay, but there were some things I wasn’t happy about.

During their install process I received a call from my general contractor that the flooring installers had gotten cement material all over the newly painted doors and baseboards. I called DC and they gave me a $700 credit to have the doors and baseboards fixed and repainted. After the flooring job was done, I came out to the house and discovered that the workers had spilled concrete in various spots on my newly painted patio cool deck. I was able to power wash some of it away, but some still remains to this day.

In a bedroom some tile had to be removed and DC had to use a self-leveling concrete to even out the floor, as well as raise a portion to make it level with the rest of the room. When I was able to come out and look at the flooring, I noticed that this area was very wavy and had bumps in some spots. I called DC and they came out and applied another coat, which improved it, but the finish still wasn’t smooth flat in the end.

In the living room they had to fill the entire room with about 2-3 inches of concrete to fill the void left by removing the existing wood underlayment that was previously used to build up the floor. Where this new poured concrete met the existing concrete, a crack developed about 6-12 months later, which caused the paint to chip away. There were a couple other cracks that developed too. I called DC and they sent someone out to fix it. The repair consisted of them applying more paint over the cracked area. The repair ended up not being flush with the rest of the finish, and the color did not match the rest of the flooring. This crack is in a prominently noticeable area of the house too.

Fast forward to 2020-2021, the crack reappeared and the paint began to crack and chip away again. I didn’t call DC right away because I still was not living in the house full time yet. After moving in full time, the chipping away became worse from walking over the area. I called DC twice in August 2022 (8/25 & 8/29), both times reaching an answering service. They said they would pass the message along and someone would call me by the next day. No one called me back. After the second call I decided to start emailing them (9/1/22). The first email response I got was that Tom Allen (the owner) was out of state that week, so I waited about two weeks and emailed them again (9/14). I received an email back (9/16) stating that they were on vacation and would call me back when they returned. I waited a month and did not receive a response, so I emailed again (10/17/22) and received no response. I emailed a final time (10/27/22) and again no response.

In addition to the above there are a few spots here and there that I wasn’t happy with – under the kitchen island (uneven finish and sheen), a few wavy uneven spots here and there throughout the house. I didn’t write a review at the time, because I just figured I’d live with it as is, but now that I can’t get a response from them, or have them come out to do the repair, I’m writing a response now.

I do not recommend and would not use Desert Coatings again (I felt this way before the lack of response, but even more so now), especially if you’re looking for a high-end finish. I have since read other reviews where they do not respond to follow up calls for repairs when needed.
