Best New Home Build in Phoenix AZ

Holtzman just finished a second bedroom remodeled for a Make A Wish kid, not only did they do a beautiful top-quality work, but they also donated all of the parts and labor, all of their staff and crew put their hearts and souls on this project. My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

Wow this guy is incredible. The owner Dion was very flexible with the scheduling he made sure to adjust the scheduling of the estimate so I can pitch my kids up from school. Then I ended up changing my mind about the color I wanted for my kitchen and dion took the paint back for me and exchanged it for the new color I wanted. He understood that I am a busy single parent and made me feel very comfortable whenever he brought his crew around. He even introduced everyone to my kids so they would feel comfortable.On to the quality of work , it's simply superb! I've wanted to redo my kitchen and bathrooms for years and the turn out was even better than I imagined. I've already recommended Dion to several friends and they have all been very happy with the quality of work and the professionalism dion and his crew showed them. Ron,who heads RMS, is an experienced and reliable home remodeling contractor. He did extensive work on renovating our kitchen and replacing our floor tile in several rooms. In addition, his painters and electricians were excellent and professional. More importantly, he gave us a fair price for our project and completed all work on time. You can’t go wrong with this company which I am highly recommending.

I would recommend Offcut Interiors to anyone in need of a kitchen, bathroom, or whole home remodel. I have not personally used this company, but have worked personally with Hunter many times. Hunter gets my utmost respect as he is always professional, extremely knowledgable about all things remodeling, and sticks to his word. The way he has built his team, and his business to focus on his clients is a revolutionary way of doing things in the contractor field; and one every home remodeling company should be focusing on. We just had our bathroom slightly remodeled by AZ Bathmasters. We moved the shower to where the bathtub was, and where the shower was, we had them change to a closet. Bathmasters came out within two days of us making the initial phone call. We also got quotes from three different companies aside from bathmasters.

I can't say enough about the service we got from AZ bathmasters! There were quite a few things that my wife were unsure of as far as color, style, etc, and we told bathmasters to just use their best judgement. Looking at the finished product, there is not a single thing my wife or I would change! The service we got from them was amazing, great communication throughout the project, and even though we did not specify, they used very high quality hardware and materials. I have no hesitation in giving bathmasters 5 stars and recommending them!!

We had Spicegirl Remodeling renovate our kitchen this summer. New floor, countertops, tiling, lots of painting. We are extremely pleased with how the kitchen came out. Ericka was awesome and did what was necessary to ensure a great outcome. As with just about any project of this nature there will be bumps along the way but it is how those bumps are dealt with that matters. Ericka was flawless in handling those bumps and we can't thank her enough. After several months everything is holding up beautifully. Her crew was also very professional and we enjoyed having them work in our home. I highly recommend them!

We used Kirk for a kitchen remodel about a year ago. They are high cost for low quality work. They took three times as long to complete the kitchen (almost a year and with no materials delays mind you) causing us to bring home our newborn child to a house with no functioning kitchen. They didn’t complete the work to plan, misplacing the island and throwing off the entire layout. When we made complaints, they spoke a good game about taking responsibility but didn’t take any corrective actions. A year later from the reno and the cabinet draws they installed are falling apart, the plumbing they did beneath the sink fell apart causing water damage to the island. We highly recommend avoiding Kirk construction at all costs.

Republic West Remodeling is a truly high quality business. Several years ago I had new windows and patio door installed. What a great company to work with. I am now planning to do a bathroom remodel and Republic will be the company doing it!!

I hired McCurdy to do TI work for my new small business and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. I had the unusual circumstance of beginning construction right as the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown hit. I was worried that my construction would be significantly impacted, but that didn't happen. They rolled with the punches and adjusted things as necessary to keep the project as on track as possible given the situation. I really appreciated the attention to detail and responsiveness the project coordinator Greg displayed! Any issues that arose were dealt with promptly and fairly. The crew doing the work were fantastic as well - friendly and they do great work. My salon looks awesome and if I get the opportunity to open another location I will absolutely call McCurdy!
