My family lives in one of the historic districts of Phoenix. We had Homework Remodels convert our old garage into a guestroom. The work entailed adding a bathroom, plumbing, electric, storage. Steve and his team did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him for any work.

TWD was hired in 2011 by Pulte Homes to paint the exterior & touch up the interior of many homes in my neighborhood (WestWing Mountain in far N. Peoria) after some issues with water seepage were found around windows and a major re-stuccoing was required. They did excellent work and were always friendly, prompt and respectful. But that is not what led me to post this review.

In September of 2014, almost 3 years after their work was finished, I found myself in a bit of a jam. I needed to do some minor touch ups to my interior walls, and unfortunately the paint can they'd originally left me for this purpose upon completing their work in 2011 had been accidentally discarded. I remembered TWD had left me a note with some specifics about the paint they used, but unfortunately HD, Lowes & Sherwin-Williams weren't able to make sense of it. So I called Pulte directly, and they looked up my address and gave me the specs for the paint color they had listed as the standard paint color for my home. After having Home Depot mix up a batch, it was clear that my home had a custom paint job, as the shade Pulte gave me was very noticeably lighter.

On a whim, I called TWD and was put in touch with Kevin, who could not have been kinder or more helpful. After doing some research, he told me of a infrequently used color choice Pulte may have used on my house, and told me he would call back and let me know if he could get me some details on it. When he called back, not only did he give me the paint name & information (which Pulte themselves could not provide), to my surprise he insisted that he would have a quart of it mixed up for me and have someone drop it off at my door the very next day, free of charge. Needless to say, he followed through with this, and the paint matched perfectly. When I told him how impressed I was that he went so above and beyond (I had really just wanted the paint info so I could go buy it myself), he told me that's just the way they like to do business and he sounded genuinely happy that he was able to help.

Without hesitation, I recommend TWD for your drywall & painting needs. Not only do they do great work, where else are you going to find a company that would go out of their way to proactively deliver a free can of paint to a house out on the far edge of town 3 years after a job is done, just to make a boneheaded homeowner like me happy?

After a great experience with our designer, Christina, we opted for HHI to tackle our small bathroom remodel. Every step of the project went as expected. They were open and honest with timelines in regards to product delays/demands. Will, our Project Manager, was very responsive to texts or phone calls, even at strange hours of the day. He was as flexible as he could be with our schedule and was always stepping up to the plate for us. Overall the project went as promised and we had a great experience!

Russ was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and reassuring. The total bill was reasonable and I plan to use them again for future renovations.

We recently had our master bath remodeled by Custom Creative. It consisted of removing the tub and existing shower as well as a large window. Custom Creative came highly recommended by a trusted friend who had used them for a large kitchen/dining room remodel. Everyone in the company lived up to our every expectation from the owner, Praveen, down to every craftsman that was part of the project. Linda was very helpful in our design phase, selection of materials and making sure all details were taken care of. We enjoyed working with her. The project required leveling out the shower floor to make it a walk-in for easy access. Jesus was an excellent craftsman, very particular to make sure the tiling was just perfect. Everyone was so respectful and courteous . We also appreciated that at the end of every work day all areas were cleaned up and tools stored away. We now have a beautiful master bath that we are so proud to show off to friends, and would highly recommend Custom Creative to anyone needing their services. I should also mention that we were on a bit of a tight timeline and they kept their promise of getting the job finished by the deadline.

Our experience with Legacy was great! I highly recommend them. My wife and I get nervous whenever we just need a handyman. As two women, we figure men know we have no idea what things cost. We've been taken advantage of in that way before. From the moment we met the staff until the very end we trusted that we chose the best team. Our project manager was James. He was so great! It was nice having him around. We felt safe. If you get him on your team, huge bonus! We initially got in contact with several contractors and decided to go with Legacy because of their professionalism, organization and their experience. It just felt like a good fit from the beginning. We needed to take care of some flooding issues and we wanted to expand our master bedroom. Jean, the talented architect, came up with an awesome plan and so far we've had no flooding! (Knock on wood.) They took a little bit longer than we expected to finish the project but only by about a week. We love the way everything looks! It turned out even better than we expected. In 2019 Trevor Day of Stronghold remodeled our bathroom in Chandler. Wow! He did an amazing job! Check his website photo gallery for pictures of our “Chandler Bathroom” project.
Trevor has extensive knowledge about all phases of construction and has a great eye for layout and design. Our project required gutting the existing space, including jackhammering the shower floor pan, as well as expanding the footprint of our master bathroom. In addition to handling all phases of the construction, Trevor also guided us through selection of cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile flooring and a barnwood accent wall. He pointed us to suppliers throughout the Valley, all he has done business with before. The tile work in the shower and floors is meticulous, and beautiful! Our accent wall gives a warmth that we love and he even installed Bluetooth speakers in our shower celing.
Trevor is talented and professional. He’s very easy to work with and will help you achieve your remodeling dreams as he did with us.

We just finished a wine refrigerator install, cabinet install and tiled our master bedroom. I cannot express how happy we are with the quality of work from Tony and his team. They are professional, timely and overlook no detail to ensure the project is done right. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a contractor. Professional, Quality work and super clean! I left a message regarding an inquiry to build out an ADU in my back yard with a receptionist. Even though Scott's company is limited to the East Valley, he gave me a call back explaining that he could not work in Glendale because it would be cost prohibitive to do so. Regardless of a logistics problem he called me back to inform me of this and answered a ton of questions regarding my endeavor, even though he knew he could not receive my business. There are not that many people these days that would spend time and call you back, this shows his integrity in business. Again, thanks for answering my basic questions and the referral Scott.

Everardo, Jose and the entire crew at Rhino Construction, and subcontractors for specific jobs, have our highest recommendation. Last year they helped us repair our interiors, kitchen and full bathroom reno after flooding and mold remediation so this year we enlisted them in an entire backyard project. With nothing but dirt, rotting overhang and broken cement patio they did everything, from demo and shed moving to adding a sliding glass door (and other doors and window), pavers, landscaping, grass, roof, trim, gutters and exterior and interior prep and painting. They also added the tile to the inground spa we had installed. Their techs got everything done with excellent work and on our time frame. But the best part is they work with you and as your project evolves they adjust with you, and can also help solve problems with older houses and make recommendations as needed. I was able to work with businesses of my choice to pick the hardscape, detail tiles and plant materials to design all aspects of the project to our aesthetics and budget. Rhino picked up and installed things as we wanted them to be and always cleaned up completely. It turned out better than we had hoped and they are our go to company for all our home improvement and repair needs!

D&D construction is the best General Contractor we have ever worked with in two states and five houses over the last fifty years. They are honorable and professional and will do whatever is necessary to make the job right and to the satisfaction of the homeowners. Was very pleased with Retro Pro - Eric and his team of professional employees were great - to include Angela, Steve, Oscar and Blake. Two bathrooms were completely remodeled and both were completed timely with excellent workmanship on the remodel. New showers, tub, toilets, flooring, cabinets and paint. Could not be happier with the outcome and promptness of getting the work completed. Minor warranty issues came up but resolved quickly. Again highly recommend this company for any work you want done in your home.

The preferred insurance vendor wasn’t a match, so I sought out dozens of contractors, interviewing each one, digging in deeper as I had an entire home water loss and extensive work to be completed.

Jodi was the first voice of Bethom and was excellent. Their project manager/superintendent CJ Castro was on site within hours, professional, detailed, and assured me his estimate would be inclusive of all damages. I requested referrals to review Bethom’s prior work, and Jodi eagerly provided. I called EVERY SINGLE referral, sometimes multiple times to make a determination, asking several questions. All referrals had valuable input and realistically provided areas of opportunity for Bethom. Each referral spoke highly of Bethom and if they had to do it again, stated they would hire Bethom again, and many have used Bethom for additional projects.

My home is 65-70% complete and I’m ecstatic to see the final touches. For now, hands down I’d recommend Bethom for residential and commercial. Their project manager works hard and goes to bat for his clientele. CJ is knowledgeable, responsive, transparent, and involved in the process. He keeps you in the loop as often as you prefer. Any delays were outside Bethom’s control.

I highly recommend Home Improvements & Moore. Brian Moore and his crew of guys come on time, work hard all day, know what they are doing, communicate effectively (in English), leave the home clean every day, honor their estimates, and produce a fantastic finished result. They have done work in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and back yard. I am happy with all of it and I am asking them to come back and do more. Brian is full of excellent ideas about how to accomplish goals and how to prioritize projects to stay within budget. He is a personable guy who is a pleasure to work with. I appreciate that he takes the time to listen, understand goals, and then suggest the best and most cost efficient ways to achieve those goals. I asked Brian to hold onto keys to my house between projects – while I wait a month for some doors I custom ordered to be delivered. Brian is a contractor I have hired for multiple jobs. I intend to hire him again. I am willing to trust him around my valuables unattended and with keys to my house. That is the highest endorsement I can give someone. If you hire him, you will be happy.

Rosa and their staff did an amazing job! From start to finish. They were knowledgeable and very nice. Easy to deal with. The install crew was nice and did a great job. They cleaned up after the installation. From the first phone call to the day of installation. Everything went smooth and very fast. I recommend them for any service. Thank you so much. The Apollo team built a beautiful enclosed bar in our game room. This project required demo of an existing smaller bar wall and a large closet to create the new space. From the beginning of the project to the end, Tyler and his team took great care to keep the project area clean and contained. The subcontractors used were professional and of the highest quality. The supervisor of this project communicated with us proactively and also responded to any questions we had along the way in a very timely manner. Most importantly, the end product is beautiful and we are very happy with our new bar.
