Homework Remodels did an outstanding job of renovating our 65 year old home, which was in a state of significant disrepair when we purchased it. The remodeling required a new roof, new electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, flooring, paint, plaster, fencing... They completed the job on a tight schedule so we could move in upon the sale of our previous home.
We were kept well informed of the progress and were involved in the process.
Five years later, the repairs/upgrades made by HomeworkRemodels have stood the test of time. We are extremely satisfied with their work.

I selected Holtzman out of a large group of local companies as they seemed to have the best understanding and appreciation of what I wanted done, and were within price expectations. Rob Hardee was my Project Manager and my go to person.

The scope of work was as follows. The previous owner of my house enclosed the patio into an additional room but made some decisions that made is susceptible to water. The room flooded during the massive rain back in 2014. Since then we were keeping it clean but unused until we could afford to repair.

When it came time to repair we knew we wanted two things, raise the floor to the same height as the rest of the house, and remove concrete on the side of the house that was higher than the room. Most companies wither wanted to repair in place and not raise the room or do a full demo of everything. Rob Hardee was open to some alternatives recommended by friends of mine in the industry, he carefully considered the the options and we went with what I felt was the best option.

We did not overrun budget with the exception of a small amount on tile as the cost of tile we picked was higher than the estimate. With the refinancing boom we came to the table expecting that many construction companies were going to be stretched thin, but Rob was responsive to questions and communicative throughout the whole process so we were not concerned.

Absolutely will use HHI again when I have more remodeling to do.

From the time he met with us to pick out the cabinetry through the install, he did what he said he would when he said he would so it. We worked with Hunt’s Kitchen and Design to update our cabinets and would highly recommend them. After getting multiple quotes for the project, they stood out from everyone. They were by far the best to work with on creating the design and in all aspects of communication. They were the only designers who really tuned it into a collaborative process, which eliminated the multiple iterations required by the other people we got quotes from. This resulted in us having a final design and price from them in less than half the time with even more attention to our needs and to how we would use our kitchen. Although we don’t have the biggest or most expensive kitchen, Josh and Jeff made us feel like they were genuinely excited about working with us on the project, and you can tell that they really care about their clients.

The planning was really extensive. We had a terrific exchange of suggestions to ultimately develop the style and products we wanted and the end result shows it. Getting my drywall repaired in my bathroom and garage was easy once I called this company. I first had an appointment for one of their team members who came over and took some pictures. Later the same day I received an estimate that was reasonable considering the amount of work that needed to be done. It's money well spent and I guarantee you will be left picking your jaw up from the floor...

The installer showed up right on time and the installation went well. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because the original design called for the cabinets to be 5 off the floor, which would have interfered with the garage door, and the installer didn't notice until he had drilled for the track. It had to lower it a couple of inches, leaving a row of holes on the wall. He didn't seam keen on patching the holes so I just patched them myself. In retrospect, he should have done the patch and paint without me even having to ask. Other than that, the cabinets are well made, well installed, and look great.

Eric at E.L. Construction is definitely someone to hire. He was knowledgeable, honest, friendly and cost effective.

I hired him to install three pre-hung exterior doors and Eric was upfront with snags along the way, making sure I had a say in the process.

I want to point out he singlehandedly did all three doors, and he was pleasant to work with as I was finishing up the door handles and locks behind him.

Eric has a construction background and even went over a few quick estimates for other things while he was here, also pointing out good ideas for projects I'll be doing myself.

I'm going to have him come back for a few remaining projects and I will be using him for general handyman things I don't feel comfortable doing.

I called up a handyman for the purpose of kitchen remodelling and the appointment was scheduled to be within 2 hours. He did the work quickly, easily and all at a reasonable price. He was very personable and I would highly recommend his services to anyone in need.
