Our experience with Legacy was great! I highly recommend them. My wife and I get nervous whenever we just need a handyman. As two women, we figure men know we have no idea what things cost. We've been taken advantage of in that way before. From the moment we met the staff until the very end we trusted that we chose the best team. Our project manager was James. He was so great! It was nice having him around. We felt safe. If you get him on your team, huge bonus! We initially got in contact with several contractors and decided to go with Legacy because of their professionalism, organization and their experience. It just felt like a good fit from the beginning. We needed to take care of some flooding issues and we wanted to expand our master bedroom. Jean, the talented architect, came up with an awesome plan and so far we've had no flooding! (Knock on wood.) They took a little bit longer than we expected to finish the project but only by about a week. We love the way everything looks! It turned out even better than we expected. We hired 123 Remodeling to renovate our kitchen and are so glad we did. Their designer came out for our first meeting and took measurements and explained the entire process to us. She has a great eye for detail and is very knowledgeable when it comes to knowing exactly what colors, finishes and fixtures will look best. Contractors showed up on time every day and their work quality was high-end. We love our new kitchen, thanks 123!

They worked in an ever changing project without change orders and kept the project moving... they focused on keeping the budget tight and brought solutions to each problem we “encountered” as we peeled the layers of a remodel

We had a major kitchen remodel, another room addition and updates to other areas of our home. Yourson Contracting and Design gave us great ideas for all the areas, kept us updated as to the schedule, and their whole team is very skilled, professional and polite.

Jerry did a repair to a door where rain was seeping under the bottom. He explained the repair he was felt would work and also explained what could be done if I wanted to change out the door. I opted for him to do the repair. He did a good job and time will tell when we get another rain.

My wife and I hired Rick to do a major renovation of our home (all bathrooms, garage, kitchen, laundry room, floors, etc.) in February of 2022. Our initial meetings with Rick in January 2022 were great. He was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. That was until we signed a contract with him and paid a $4000 permit retainer. As soon as we paid Rick the communication and proactiveness disappeared. To summarize the details below, it was a nightmare of 8 months just to get a permit approved by the city.
We were told he would have the initial plans ready for us within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get him to provide a draft of the remodel design which had numerous mistakes. The following day we sent an email with a list of all the mistakes that needed to be fixed including measurement corrections that I had to take myself.
3 weeks later and no word from Rick, I follow up to check and he indicates that he will be submitting the plans end of the week (April 12th). After many more follow-ups and involving the Refresh Renovations corporate we finally get him to submit the plans to the city on May 13th, 3+ months from signing the contract. Note, the contract indicated that the project would start in mid-April.
The plans that were submitted were riddled with issues and required THREE rounds of corrections! We finally got the permit approved at the beginning of October. Rick provided excuse after excuse throughout the whole process. I have worked with dozens of contractors in the past and Rick and Refresh Renovations were BY FAR THE WORST!
We canceled the build contract and have found much better professionals to complete the elements of the renovation.
