Although there were a few supply issues, even they the guys managed to complete the task within the given time, they were very professional and educated. Keep up the excellent work.

I would like to give a 1-Star review but to be fair, I will give a 2-star review because the job was completed. Just as a quick overview, I would not recommend Holtzman Home Improvement.

PROS and CONS List below:

PROS:

*Bathroom remodel was completed.

*Liked cabinet finishes and style options.

CONS:

*We were given a timeline of 6-8 weeks for project completion but ended up taking 6 months.

*In contract, the introduction page says that Brandon Holtzman “… will personally meet you and visit your job site several times throughout your project to ensure quality and care is not only in the workmanship but also in our demeanor.” Never met the man; not even once.

*“Designer” which they refer to as “sales-person”, had a hard time keeping up with the demands of our project. Made numerous mistakes in terms of measurements that caused wrong products to be ordered and mistakes in the actual remodel. Assumed certain details about project without consulting us. Example: Cabinet above toilet was bigger than expected (inaccurate measurements) and overlapped on to the exhaust fan, “Sales-Person” assumed that we were just going to move the exhaust fan altogether; this would have cost us hundreds of dollars to move the fan 2-3 inches.

*Crew would show up whenever, sometimes not at all even though scheduled. Had crew show up at 6am without notice multiple times. Had to state over and over again for a start time that worked for my family; between 7-8am. Nothing ridiculous. No consistency whatsoever.

*Some of the crew did not speak English, which I absolutely didn’t mind at all. But Project manager, “sales person”, did not speak the language. I never expected to be the sole translator numerous times in person and on the phone. Because of this language barrier, numerous mistakes were made on our project.

*Crew would come to job site and not know the status of our project, therefore would ask me questions about what needed to be done, as well as certain technical details that only a professional would know (example: electrical).

*Crew would come to job unprepared and would leave to go to Home Depot for 1+ hours to grab material. Not sure if this is standard, but I believe that they should have been prepared for the day’s work at our project.
*Overpriced. Example: Updated replacement of bathroom exhaust fan that was picked up at home depot for around $45.00-$55.00 and less than an hour to install, cost almost $400.00.

*Project manager forgot to discuss details of our project to team so there were details that were left out. Example: Requested to have a shower bench installed; shower was “completed” with no shower bench.

*Project manager and “sales-person” should have communicated more in terms of our project details; numerous mistakes could have been avoided.

*Low quality of materials: tile/grout. Numerous tiles are cracked, chipped, and grout has already started to come out in chunks. Also, grout that was never wiped off, has solidified and won’t come off.

*Already have water damage; yes, water damage in a bathroom on a pony wall that neither the project manager and “sales-person” gave input on how to finish to avoid said water damage.

*Was double charged, and charged for work not done. Caught mistakes by thoroughly reviewing receipt and was reimbursed. If I didn’t catch these details we would have easily been overcharged.

*At the completion of the project you are given a 5-year warranty. We have recently contacted Holtzman Home Improvement to come and fix said damage and have not heard back; it has been a few weeks already.

*Their slogan is “People should do business with people they trust”; would not recommend.

Todd Whittaker Drywall Inc. exceeded our expectations repeatedly. The level of professionalism and workmanship was outstanding. The project was executed in a timely manner, adhering to a construction calender that was accessible online from the beginning of the project.

We had a complete kitchen remodel and new flooring throughout the house and a new half bath remodel.

This company couldn't even get me quote! I called them multiple times after the gentleman came and looked at my master bathroom. Even though they said they would have the owner call me, he never did! How could I ever trust a company that can't even get you a quote after 3 weeks! Excuse after excuse....onto a more reliable company

Juan and his crew are very skilled and the best at what they do! Their work is very through and the make sure every detail is taken care of on every job. G&C have worked with me on numerous project all throughout the valley. They are great to work with because Juan does a great job of listening to my needs and understanding exactly what I need done. He often will come up with better solutions to getting the the bumps in the construction road that help get us to completion on time!

We would highly recommend ABA for your next home project! Joe and his crew completed a major kitchen renovation, as well as laid new tile and paint throughout the entire home. They removed walls and really opened up our space into a beautiful new home! Joe made great suggestions that only a good contractor would think about, and we greatly appreciated his expertise. The quality of workmanship was excellent and Joe's attention to detail, as well as his commitment to customer service, made this major project quite painless. At the end of it all, Joe really wants his clients to be happy and is willing to do what it takes to make that happen!

We used Rhino for roof leak we had over the summer. It was an absolute pleasure working with Everado and team. They worked closely with the insurance company and made sure everything was aligned per the inspection. Would highly recommend Rhino to anyone looking to do renovations.

Our experience with Acuity Builders was the best I have ever had with a contractor. After the hail storm we learned that our roof and air conditioner were damaged and had to be replaced. I called multiple companies and went with Acuity because they were the least expensive but also the quickest to get back to me. Ken Hawk came and talked to my husband and me personally, answering our many questions with patience and professionalism. He walked us through what the insurance process entailed and then took care of everything, including dealing with the insurance directly! The workers he hired were clean, polite and courteous, leaving no mess behind like other roofing companies have done. When a minor problem came up many months after the work was completed I called Ken and he had someone there within a couple of days- problem fixed! Imagine getting this kind of quality workmanship and customer service from the lowest bidder! Companies like this DO exist! I can not recommend Acuity Builders and Construction strongly enough!

Becky and her design team helped renovate my house and I couldn’t be any happier with the quality! The project manager, Tom, was always on top of his crew and stayed on schedule. So thankful!!

Have you ever heard of a bathroom remodel taking 5 days from start to finish? These guys were miraculous! I needed a new walk in shower with no edge for my handicapped client who was released unexpectedly from the hospital, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure this happened. Luis and his team do incredible work. They amazed me by leaving the bathroom completely clean everyday when they left. Dust was kept to a minimum, the floor was swept and they even washed the mirrors! That is the kind of detail you can look forward to at Planet Remodel. Communication could use a bit of improvement but the value and quality of work were outstanding.

Tried three weeks ago to get a quote on remdeling my Master Bathroom, walked in to showroom and the two women in front were rude and of no help at all. When I asked to speak to someone about a bathroom remodel, I was told that person was away at lunch.n Because I was very happy with the work they have done remodeling my kitchen 10 years ago, I went to the web site yesterday. Got a call from some representative (unknown nbr) and she was rude and seemed uninterested. Sorry it didnt work out because I think you have done great work in the past.
