Best Bathroom Tile Replacement in Phoenix AZ

Jerry and his team have always taken great care of all the customers that our team at The Tile Shop Tempe send his way. They take all the stress out of the remodeling process! Desert Prestige Builders (Eric Linder and Ryan Brunelle) are incompetent and unprofessional. Eric Linder, Ryan Brunelle completely botched our 1,400 sqft tile installation.
Eric Linder admitted to not preparing the floor to ensure it was flat before installing the tile and admitted his company didn’t even own a 10ft straight edge to make sure the tile and floor was flat. They didn’t even know how to use the tile spacers correctly. They also went an extra step to prove how inept they were and put a polish on our matte porcelain tile that was not meant for use on porcelain tile. This lead to permanent unsightly streaking, hazing and clouding throughout the entire surface of the floor.
All of their incompetence and lack of skill also lead to:
-Crooked grout lines
-Unevenly laid tile throughout (so uneven in some areas that it caused tripping hazards)
-Over-grouting (grout covering corners and edges of uneven tile)
-Under-grouting (leaving deep channels between tile)
-Inconsistent grout coloring (ranging from every shade of gray to white)
They attempted to fix and replace several problem areas of the floor but failed horribly.
We hired an expert tile consultant to inspect their tile job. The expert found so many mistakes, that were so numerous, throughout the entire floor that he deemed the tile job unsalvageable, and it would therefore need to be completely demolished and replaced.
We shared the expert’s findings with Eric Linder and asked for our money back. He said he would contact us within 24 hours. We did not hear from him.
Desert Prestige still has not refunded our money. Dealing with Desert Prestige has been a nightmare. We have lost a large sum of our hard-earned money, and have had to pay again to completely replace their disastrous tile job! Please be aware that there is not adequate protection for consumers! Please do your research! Read reviews! This is the first negative review I have ever written. I hope this saves others from making the huge mistake of hiring Desert Prestige Builders, Eric Linder or Ryan Brunelle.

I bought slabs and when Keith’s team saw a potential problem instead of just cutting the slabs I purchased they raised their concern to us and we were able to find different slabs. Ernesto is a smooth talker and doesn't listen to a word you say. He does not listen to what the client actually wants. Besides not listening to anything my wife and I said, after a month all he had to show for his work were some silly doodling on paper. He charged a 5K retainer, and did absolutely NOTHING. After we made suggestions, he would shoot them down and then later bring them up as his own ideas. He kept telling us that a beam needed to be installed, and later my contractor looked at the columns and said they were fine to remove (just to prove he has no idea what he is talking about). After a month of having NOTHING to even prove he has been working, he now wants to charge us even more money for doing nothing. In a month...no estimates, no work has been done. All he wants to do is milk as much money out of you as possible. I regret ever hiring him, because he is totally unprofessional and also refuses to give us our house keys back. I will most likely end up taking him to court to recover my money he wasted
