Best Kitchen Remodeling in Phoenix AZ
I would avoid this business at all costs. My experience consisted of the following:
- The salesperson, Tom, lied about the order deadline and delivery time. He said that if I placed my order on a Monday or Tuesday they would have my three windows by the following Monday or Tuesday. The order was placed midday Tuesday. Tom emailed a week later, when I was expecting to receive the windows, saying that I had not supplied payment for the deposit by the deadline. He first lied saying the deposit was paid a day later than it actually was. I told him to check the dates on our email thread, at which point he said he was new and didn’t know when the manufacturer’s deadline was. Not until I repeatedly expressed my dissatisfaction was any type of apology provided. The result was that my order would not arrive until the following Thursday, so it went from a week for delivery to three weeks.
- The rep from the window manufacturer contacted me later to inform me that the order had arrived, but Tom had placed it for the wrong windows. This resulted in a new order having to be placed, which of course delayed delivery another week.
- I was under the impression that I was paying a 50% deposit, and that the remainder would be collected upon delivery of the order. I was actually charged the full amount AND the salesperson Tom failed to add tax to the original quote. Calculating tax and adding it to a quote seems pretty elementary, and it’s fundamental in managing customer expectations. This is apparently not practiced at Freelite, though.
Perhaps they have just one dishonest and incompetent salesperson. Regardless, these types of business practices should absolutely not be supported.
Will never do business with them again and, of course, would never recommend them.

My husband and I purchased our home a little over six years ago. The house is about thirty years old and still had the original windows. The windows have always been hard to open and close and last year they became impossible to use. We started shopping around with companies at home and garden shows only to get quotes for around $30,000 to replace most of our windows. Due to the high cost we considered weighing the options of replacing the windows ourselves, that’s when we came across LEI Home Enhancements on Facebook. We met with Dustin and he explained the entire process from consultation to measuring to final install and the benefits we would receive with our new purchase. We were shocked to see the showcase promotional quote was half of what we were told by another big brand named company. The install process was a breeze. Beau our installer was amazing. He showed up on time, was friendly and kept a clean work area. He has great work ethic and doesn’t drag his feet on the job. We were very happy with his install which only took about two and a half days from full tear out to final trim for eleven windows. Throughout the entire process Dustin checked in to make sure we were happy with everything and to let us know what to expect. He was wonderful. We now have amazing windows that function great and can already see a difference between our old ones. We are now able to open the house to let in fresh air; the windows have a locking mechanism that makes me feel comfortable to sleep with them open if I choose to. We no longer have wind blowing through our old windows allowing us to keep our heater and AC from working overtime. We have also noticed a huge difference in outside noise. We live on a street that is in a two year construction project so we constantly have equipment and trucks outside our home. With the new windows we can barely tell if there is any construction going on. It is really amazing how much quieter our home is now. We can’t wait to start phase two of replacing our other existing windows. Thank you so much LEI Home Enhancements.

Elizabeth P. was our amazing sales rep! She had to come back a second time because we took enough time to decide that we forgot what our selections were. She was very patient and spent as much time as we needed, explaining everything. She was very professional and had excellent customer service skills. We signed paperwork with Elizabeth, knowing it was going to be several months before they would be able to install the new shower.Yesterday (1/24/2022) was the exciting day. Hunter H. and Jacob W. knew their trade inside and out and the install was perfect. The attention they paid to details was exceptional, their customer service skills and respect were flawless.. They were great! I would and will recommend them all day.Due to the shower door being mislabeled, today Joseph T. came out to install the correct doors. He was also very respectful, knew exactly what he was doing and had exceptional customer service skills. What a delight to have such competent people doing this work.Would I refer this company and those who made this construction project seamless???? Oh yes, in a heartbeat!!!

Preferred Home did an excellant install on 7 windows at my home. They masked inside the home to prevent dust from coming inside . The work was professional with attention to detail and pride in workmanship. I would highly recommend them.

Sears Home Improvement Windows & Doors first major installment was a disaster from day one... and continued to be that way months later! There were many things not done correctly including damage to my wall and floors, and a door lock that didn't work because it wasn't installed properly. Sears was horrible about fixing these numerous problems. When I requested another installer to inspect the job they sent me someone that had no experience at installing so errors in workmanship were not caught or corrected. When I had my 2nd/last installation the new company found another problem that I didn't know about (the patio doors weren't properly sealed) and after my repoting it... they corrected this other installation company's mistake. I still have no idea if there are other installation problems because no one has inspected the first installation. (NOTE : The second installation company Sears hired for my last patio door was excellent.)

We had broken a window during a remodel and had to have it replaced. We chose them in October 2020 as the sales person said they could do it quickly since he has an order with a builder, and to make sure everything matches in the space since they had aluminum frames, we ordered 5 total windows and a double sliding door to replace a window and a door. In late January/early February they were finally out to do it as they had some issues with the manufacturer getting them windows, and there was no communication from RemodAZ with updates until we started to hound them. 12 weeks after anticipating 8 weeks, and had to put our flooring install on hold since the door changed the wall line a bit.
The installation was a horrible 5 day ordeal, shoddy new framing work leaving doors and windows being out of plumb/tweaked so they are really hard to open and close, my family won't even use one side of the slider. They also broke the new window during install which was the replacement for the one we broke that started this all, but they assured me they ordered the window on the spot, there are gaps in the aluminum frames on some of the windows and the paint is horrible. These windows and doors seemed to miss Quality Control altogehter. About a month after install, they sent someone out from the glass company who confirmed they were installed incorrectly, but just sprayed some silicon lubricant and did no thing with the frame elements that were supposed to be replaced with the slider due to paint defects and operation, nor the broken glass. Then nothing from them until May when Anna let me know they could not get the aluminum any longer which is months after it was ordered, but could replace in Vinyl. I told her they would all need to be replaced to match, but she couldn't respond as she was just the messenger, I asked to talk to someone who could actually make decisions for the company.
Continued silence for another month, then I get a message from Anna saying Tammy is coming out with the glass guy to finish on June 16'th, which was confirmed between 10 and 1, and on the 16th no one came out - no call no show. We were home so this was not a missed connection. On June 22nd I get a message from Anna threatening to take me to court for not being able to finish. I still don't have my kitchen together since the window still needs to be replaced. They have made no effort on their end and don't come out when they 'confirmed' they would. I reiterated that they need to have someone. I had to fix problems they created by not doing the drywall and electrical work correctly. I replied to the text saying someone who can make decisions would need to contact me, now in text as clearly everything should be in writing, and no response yet.
I would not recommend RemodAZ, my house is still not done and we still have a broken window, but they are constantly delaying and now threatening when this 8 week project turned into 9 months, all for 5 windows and a door.
