Best General Contractors in Phoenix AZ

I contacted Valleywide Glass for an adjustment to our glass shower door. At first they didn’t want to come out to Goodyear, we were outside there service area. I get it, but maybe don't include “Valleywide” in your company name. As I’m having trouble getting anyone to help in the current era of post-Covid customer service, I gladly offered a trip fee. I sent in the requested photos and waited for the scheduling call I was supposed to receive. I didn’t hear anything for several hours and contacted them again. They put me on the schedule, but on the day of the appointment they were unable to come out due to the tech getting injured. However, they said they would reschedule and there has been no response from them to my efforts to reschedule. 1 star for being unresponsive and wasting my time. We are all busy.

I've used Clayton Glass and Accessories for four houses and wouldn't consider any other source. Great prices and selection brought me there but their customer service keeps me coming back! After a panel broke at a rental home Clayton Glass went above and beyond to get me a replacement. Problem being the unit was installed in California. The happily supplied the glass specs to a local source and provided me the hardware for replacement at a very reasonable cost.

Quick to respond to emails, terrific products and great prices. Why go anywhere else?

As a new home owner this group showed up as a cold door knocking (no issue). I agreed to have a specialist come see my roof however was very explicit that we would not listen to any in home pitches and would not be making a purchase in the next 6 months. They could get access to our roof and electrical panels.The specialist who showed up did not receive this information and I gently said, thank you but we are not listening to any pitches. He said it was the only way to give an estimate. I asked if they had done any in the neighborhood (mind you our subdivision has over 1000 homes with the exact same layout). He said yes dozens. I kindly asked based on that and our roof and electrical system to present a general quote. He said that’s impossible. I said once it becomes possible please email it to me.Since then (within 6 months) I’ve received over 10 calls from different individuals asking to schedule an in home appointment. I’ve said the same thing every time and continually ask to be removed from the system.I have no knowledge of their products but based on their untrained sales team I cannot imagine it to be quality. Frankly the sales team manager is likely training these individuals in 1990 sales tactics which the new generation of homebuyers loathe.

We had a few different companies visit us back in July/August 2020. Remod had a good presentation with a light bulb showing heat through the different panes of glass. Which is more than any other company had done. They offered to take $1000 off if we commit with them that day, and we did. We went with the Aztec style dual pane windows and a new french door. The windows come with a double lifetime warranty. So if we no longer have the home the lifetime warranty will transfer over 1 time to the new owner.
The financing paperwork came and we were approved. Our first payment was to be in October.
We've called multiple times to get updates on our order and we keep getting, oh I will have the owner call you back she's out in the field. Or we get, I'll have Anna call you back since you've spoken to her before.
We have never, EVER received a call back. In December I called and explained that it's disappointing that we are never given any updates and no one calls us back at our request. I explained that if there are delays it's fine we understand that things happen but we want to be informed. Yet we are never informed. After I explained this to Anna she said she will right it down and make sure to call us every Tuesday and Thursday which is when they receive deliveries to see if our order arrived.
After a week I called because we never heard back
During that call Anna pushed it back onto the owner for not doing her job and when I countered that she said she would call, she yelled at me that she doesn't need this and hung up on me.
I waited a couple weeks and called again and my girlfriend emailed the owner as well. No apology for the horrific customer service, no apology for the delay, no explanation except various excuses like, the manufacturer has a shortage on tempered glass, we have alot of jobs we are doing right now, we are meeting with the manufacturer and fill you in with an update.....and still we have never received an update. It is now January 8, 2021, 6 months have passed and all we get are excuses, lies, and still no windows (and a door).
My advice is to avoid this company completely.
We don't want them touching our home because if it's this hard to get an update, I can't imagine how difficult it is for them to stand by their warranty and quality of their work.
We are trying to cancel and we are ignored.
Do Not do business with these people!!!!!
