We used Handyman Connection to install a large multi-pane sliding glass door. We’d experienced a lot of delay and run-around with other contractors and the project had been left incomplete for months. The moment I met with Greg H. I felt reassured. I’m picky but he seemed more picky than I was. Greg was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He delivered quality service, excellent craftsmanship, and a reasonable price. Response Crew repaired an area in the hallway last month and did a fantastic job! So much so, we had them back to fix two more spots in the kitchen. Our service man was named Will who was super friendly, efficient, and completed both jobs fast. Their office admin, Jennifer, called to keep us updated and every time was friendly. I highly recommend this company :)

I hired 2 Good Men to install ceiling fans, a chandelier and a TV mount. Richard has good prices but I think he just works on what he thinks he knows instead of reading instructions. I have 4 separate issues with the work that I asked him to do, a couple of them were addressed because I pointed them out in the middle of the project.

1) I had 4 ceiling fans, all the same model installed in the bedrooms. I checked the functionality and the remotes didn't work properly. The fan button operated the light and the light button the fan. He must have wired something incorrectly, but he did go back and fix them.

2) TV mount - he had drilled 2 holes into the actual mount and only used 2 of the bolts to secure the mount to the wall on 1 stud. He did this to center the mount, but it wasn't necessary or proper. The mounting arm could be slid along the mounting from to center where you needed it. Also, the mount is designed to be in 2 studs to support up to 135 lbs. I also noticed that he put the screws that hold the support arm on the mount in the wrong direction. I saw this after looking at the directions.

3) Large Ceiling Fan - he worked on installing a ceiling fan in the family room and called and told me it was defective and didn't work. I obtained a replacement at a later date and was going to have him come back to install, but after the issues I found I just did it myself. I gave the defective fan to my father and he powered it up on a test bench and got it working. The fan came with a wall control unit, instead of a remote control. You had to sync the wall control unit with the fan by pressing a button on it for 5 seconds, I suspect he didn't read the installation instructions again which is why it seemed like it didn't work.

4) Chandelier - One of the support arms isn't screwed in properly and therefore the chandelier isn't level. I tried to tighten it but it spins and does tighten. I'll have to take it completely apart to try and fix it properly someday. I suspect, he may have damaged it while putting it together. At the very least, he should have told me about it if it was defective. I sent him a picture asking about it but never got a response.

At the end of writing this, I feel like I should probably give him a 1 star rating but I was trying to be as fair as possible. I would have to say I would not recommend Richard aka 2 Good Men Handyman Services. I would also offer him some advise, read the instructions of the products that you are installing so that you install them correctly.

Need a actual honest to goodness Handyman that really does know what he is doing? This is the real deal! We had several projects from small to large and Jeremy along with his co-handyman (sorry I forgot your name) finished with QUALITY all of them in less than 5 hours! We are so pleased and will recommend Jeremy The Handyman to anyone that we know may need one. A+++ work and professionalism. Thank you!

I was so fortunate to find Hugo since this was a unique job. My fire pit had a leak in the gas line so the concrete and flagstone had to be cut, an 18 deep trench was dug and the fire pit was cut on the side. After the plumber replaced the gas line, Hugo took over and filled the trench, replaced and repaired the flagstone and concrete and repaired the side of the fire pit so it looks like new. He brought all his own tools and cleaned up each day Hugo arrived each day and worked full days. The plumber was so impressed with Hugo's work that he hired him for a job at his House! I also had Hugo repair the benches with new concrete, stucco and paint. His work is equal to his work ethic, top notch!

I have used this company on numerous occasions for various work around not only my properties, but also my Mom and Sisters homes. They are up front honest, reliable (actually show up when they say they will) and they always do great work. Below is an example of a hole in our ceiling that they repaired. Love them.

The husband and I suspected that our toilet was leaking. We were further concerned when there was suddenly a large wet spot on the floor of our closet. Turns out the toilet leak had been traveling across our bathroom and into the closet. Joe was able to diagnose the issue and replaced the internals of our toilet. Sure enough, the wet spot dried within 24 hours and we no longer have a leaky toilet. He was able to further fix another toilet of ours so that the tank no longer leaks. The experience was professional and quick overall. Thank you, Joe!!

I reached out to C&S Handyman Services for paving work as well as place a raised flower bed. They showed up on time, was very thorough, even offered a few ideas that I had not thought of.

I will be calling on them again as home improvement-landscaping projects arise.
