Richard is awesome! He hung two 80 Lb mirrors and a XL piece of artwork above my bed, towel hooks and my Dyson! I had a chandelier that needed to be hung but unfortunately my ceiling wouldn’t allow for the weight of the chandelier and Richard was able to be honest with me and tell me it’s not a good idea so it doesn’t fall on me because of lack of support. He was so kind, honest and helpful, I would use his services again and highly recommend!

Richard did a phenomenal job on my laundry room! We didn't give him much to work with but he made it happen and blew us away with the results. Richard is professional and honest. I would recommend Richard out to anyone who is needing a REAL handyman. He is reasonable on prices and delivers outstanding results. So glad that we were able to work with 2 good men!

I hired 2 Good Men to install ceiling fans, a chandelier and a TV mount. Richard has good prices but I think he just works on what he thinks he knows instead of reading instructions. I have 4 separate issues with the work that I asked him to do, a couple of them were addressed because I pointed them out in the middle of the project.

1) I had 4 ceiling fans, all the same model installed in the bedrooms. I checked the functionality and the remotes didn't work properly. The fan button operated the light and the light button the fan. He must have wired something incorrectly, but he did go back and fix them.

2) TV mount - he had drilled 2 holes into the actual mount and only used 2 of the bolts to secure the mount to the wall on 1 stud. He did this to center the mount, but it wasn't necessary or proper. The mounting arm could be slid along the mounting from to center where you needed it. Also, the mount is designed to be in 2 studs to support up to 135 lbs. I also noticed that he put the screws that hold the support arm on the mount in the wrong direction. I saw this after looking at the directions.

3) Large Ceiling Fan - he worked on installing a ceiling fan in the family room and called and told me it was defective and didn't work. I obtained a replacement at a later date and was going to have him come back to install, but after the issues I found I just did it myself. I gave the defective fan to my father and he powered it up on a test bench and got it working. The fan came with a wall control unit, instead of a remote control. You had to sync the wall control unit with the fan by pressing a button on it for 5 seconds, I suspect he didn't read the installation instructions again which is why it seemed like it didn't work.

4) Chandelier - One of the support arms isn't screwed in properly and therefore the chandelier isn't level. I tried to tighten it but it spins and does tighten. I'll have to take it completely apart to try and fix it properly someday. I suspect, he may have damaged it while putting it together. At the very least, he should have told me about it if it was defective. I sent him a picture asking about it but never got a response.

At the end of writing this, I feel like I should probably give him a 1 star rating but I was trying to be as fair as possible. I would have to say I would not recommend Richard aka 2 Good Men Handyman Services. I would also offer him some advise, read the instructions of the products that you are installing so that you install them correctly.

My Husband saw one of this companies trucks and we had been having issues. Our new counter top also had a new deeper sink. Plumbing of this sink has been , to say the least, a pain....an expensive pain in the you know what..including flooding pain for 6 months or so.I called Richard. He promptly came by to see what was needed. Next day, within 5 minutes was fixed. He also installed a new light and fan I have been needing fixed for years...In less than an hour , my problems were no more. Richard was prompt, professional, efficient and I would highly recommend him for any of your needs...Thank you Richard..Will be calling you again :)

2 GOOD MEN (Richard Chace) has painted my house, replaced 3 windows, sunscreens, repaired patio slider, constructed a full-length back patio cover, built & installed recreational & regular gates for my block fence, plus remove 2 problem trees, along with many various jobs (fans, plumbing, electrical, closet doors, shower doors). He is not only PROFICIENT in his trade, but also EFFICIENT in his quality of work, paying close attention to details. He possesses insight -- visualizing the finished project. These guys are great. I had my first experience with them when my water heater broke and started flooding my house. I got their number from a friend and they were over within 10 minutes! They stopped the leak and had a new water heater installed the next day. I then had these guys completely re model my bathroom in my master bedroom and I must say they did one hell of a job. I am already sizing up my next project with them and i'm looking forward to seeing what else they can do for me.
