Best Hive Removal in Phoenix AZ

I had a bad scorpion problem years ago inside my home and another pest control company was unable to get it under control. Blue Sky took over my pest control, and by having them come every other month for a year the problem was all but eliminated. That was in 2006, and I have had them treat my property ever since. I will on rare occasion see a scorpion inside the house, but not often enough to be concerned any longer.

Aldo was very responsive and called me literally moments after I clicked for more information. When he set an appointment he showed up on time and respectful of the property. When it comes to bees, a specialist like The Beekeeper is the way to go. This comes from having dealt with two hives and three companies. The first company was a different bee specialist who did a thorough and humane removal.

The second company was a generic pest control company. Not my ideal choice, but due to time crunch, they were the first call made by my family as they had also dealt with our termites. While they responded extremely quickly to our emergency—the bees were discovered less than two days before a trip—they did an incomplete removal and cleanup job (and unfortunately much, much less humane). When we returned from the trip, it was to melted honey dripping down our walls, down the roof, and onto our driveway in little sticky puddles and drips.

The third company was The Beekeeper: Total Bee Control. Not only did they respond quickly, Marino (with The Beekeeper) did a thorough and knowledgeable job, not only of removal of the remnants of the hive and the cleanup and neutralization of the runs of melted honey but also of prevention with the installation of steel wool behind the attic vents which had allowed the hive into our attic in the first place. I learned that as the bees die as they did with the generic pest control company, the honeycomb is no longer kept cool by bee activity and if not entirely removed, the remnants melt in the heat.

There was a minor reoccurring insect issue at my home, and Bug Guardian was a more affordable quote than other companies in town. There was ZERO upsell which is good, because most of the time you think you're being sold things you do not need.

When you see companies have 5 stars, you tend to think it's fake, but these guys did a great job for me at a great price and are the real deal. I haven't had any issues since they came. So hope it helps others when deciding which pest control company to go with. Thanks.

What else can I say, Scott is a lifesaver! He humanely removed a hive that had moved into an exterior wall a day before and came back in the fall to address a swarm that went in through another wall. Scott’s response time is awesome, he is super knowledgeable, and we are so glad he saves the bees. We hope not to need his services again, but will definitely call him if (when) we do!

Our renter called to tell us there were many bees around & it wasn’t normal. We contacted Abello Bees after viewing their site and then a referral from a friend. Lara thoroughly explained the process and that the bees would be moved to their apiary. She got us on the schedule quickly. Pictures of the work were provided. We were impressed and asked them to do the repair work required to ensure that “new bees” wouldn’t try to build a new home in the spot. Derek did a great job. Lara’s explanations & pictures are used to educate our grandchildren and friends.
