Best General Repair And Maintenance in Phoenix AZ

Cons:
The estimator was 4 hours late.
The paper estimate didn't come until I harassed them for a copy.
The repair was rescheduled twice. (Emergencies kept bumping my appointment even though I was scheduled?)
The repair guys laid in the middle of my driveway while they waited for more parts to be delivered.
There wasn't any communication at all from the business's end. I only found out of the rescheduling, payment options, estimate copies, etc because I called each time. (No proactive measures were taken)
I was talking to my S/O and used the phrase I feel like I'm begging them to take my money & do the work...

Pros:
The price. They came in well under-budget and blew away four other estimates, once by well over a grand.
The repairs were done quickly and efficiently.
Invoice/payment was all online and simple to complete.
Electronic/PDF documents (estimate and receipt) via email.
I assume that the quality is pretty good (there are no more birds on my roof, there aren't any leaks and the plywood looks new).
No dust, debris or mess was left - it was all cleaned up as promised.

Overall:
If you have the time and energy to be your own advocate with this company, I say go for it. If you're out of town or unable to manage the procedural aspect that will be required of you to actually start the process, I'd recommend checking a few other places out.

Sean and Brian and the crew were 10+ ! Sean came on time and very courteous and friendly ( qualities you look for in a business) he took his time to survey not just the swamp cooler removal and repair, but took time and gave great advice about suggestions and tips for the rest of the roof. And they came and did it before the rain came, they could’ve waited, but he wanted to get the job done so we wouldn’t have to worry about our leaking roof!!! We at Real Estate Management Network highly recommend Starkweather Roofing. They will send an estimator for a free. Cover the range of options you have. We use them for residential homes but they work on commercial as well.

I was on the Tempe High School Job and all I can say is call and ask for Bill the maintenance supervisor and all I heard was how much Roofing Southwest screwed up the job. The broke all kinds of stuff, had crews not show and in the end made Bill very unhappy. In talking to the job foreman Tim and Rick all they did was threaten and complain about the job. If you have a commercial roofing job I suggest you look elsewhere or you to may not like this companys work.

Steve and Laura were absolutely wonderful to deal with. They gave me the best pricing on my replacement, compared to 4 other estimates, and completed the work in the timeframe they told me. The crew cleaned up everyday and Steve made sure all the roof openings were covered to preventive birds and anything else from getting in. Laura is very nice to deal with and always responds quickly. Just purchased a new house in Scottsdale Rio Verde area. The inspector found the roof to be in need of replacement. I called 3 roofing contractors and All City came out when they said and gave me a fair price. Mike the estimator spent time to explain the process and followed up with me to help us get the roof installation set up and completed.

Roof Medics re-roofed a tile roof for us. They were excellent from start to finish. They answered all of our many questions and gave us a roof we think will last & last. It looks great, too. The reason I am taking time to write this review, though, is that Darrell went above and beyond all expectations. Months after they put the new roof on, he took care of an issue (minor) and was very kind about it. I think that is pretty impressive since he could have blown us off. I highly recommend this company.
