I've used Matt and his team on several occasions. He has done the electrical work for our kitchen remodel, rehab work on two other rental houses and installed electrical service for a large swim spa for us. He pulled all permits and handled all inspections. Worry free on my part. Highly recommended.

The first time I used Mr. Calvert, it was a Sunday and we’d lost power to half of our house. CPS said that the problem was on our end, but after a thorough check, Mr. Calvert disagreed. I called CPS back out and Mr. Calvert stuck around until the tech arrived. While we waited, I had Mr. Calvert upgrade the panel to 20 AMP switches. The CPS tech insisted that it was on our end and didn’t even want to check the transformer. Mr. Calvert convinced him to check the transformer, but the tech still said it was on our end. Mr. Calvert persisted and convinced the tech to have CPS place a monitor on our meter. The next day, CPS placed the monitor and monitored the electricity for a few days. It turns out, the issue was on CPS’ end after all. You can’t put a price on over 20 years of experience! Since then, we’ve had Mr. Calvert out to move fixtures and replace switches. Go with Mr. Calvert. You will get a more personal service at a much more reasonable price than the bigger companies, with over 20 years of experience to back it up.

My 5-star vote is complimentary of the in-person interaction received.On two unfortunate occasions (warranty repair emergencies), I have had the pleasure of meeting Moe (supervisor) to assist me. While our interactions have occurred during my frustrations, Moe has been extremely empathetic. Each time he has explained the root cause of the issues and resolution approach. Great demeanor, humor, and very informative!

12/28, 6:59p, 281 at Bulverde, northbound: white Chevy work truck with DeWinne Electric company logos and a burned out right headlight driving erratically, speeding, driving between two lanes, not signaling. Took a U-turn at Harmony Hills St. Called them into Spring Branch PD. Quite alarming anyone would drive this dangerously in a company truck.

Best service ever

They were very helpful from the beginning. Price was by far the most reasonable. I have done projects with the big name electrical companies in town before and Electrician for Hire provided the same if not better service/quality for a fraction of price. Would definitely call them first next time I need an electrician.

Michael is an excellent electrician. We were having electrical problems in 2 of our rooms of our home so we called Lincoln Electrical after reading a few of their reviews. Michael came out, looked at the problem and gave a very fair price to repair the problem. After about an hour of diligent work he found the problem and repaired it. We also had him give us a quote for recess lighting which we will have him back out to do in the next few weeks. 5 star service from these guys.

Duke required a repair to my outside electric or they were going to shut down our electric. Kevin coordinated and completed the job better than expected at a good price. I would highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs.

I got the number from local hardware shop. got a prompt reply for ceiling fans installation (8) at home- after in home evaluation quoted hourly price with which i agreed. 2 guys came( 1 intern i guess). very slow to work and asked additional day to finish the job. called their office to negotiate the price as the job was supposed to be done in a day. He surprised me saying that the price he quoted $47.50 was half hourly price. I CAN NOT BELIEVE..I didn't argue - asked them to stop working as i nearly paid $150 for each ceiling fan for labor alone.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...I QUESTION HONESTY AND WORK ETHIC.

I paid Green Light Electric over $7,000 in May of 2021 for a Generac Generator. I was told November installation. They contacted me later that it would be May of 2022. It is now October of 2022 and I have no generator. I have tried to communicate with this company by leaving phone messages and written communications. I have had no response back. I feel that I have been taken. Extremely unsatisfied.

Very poor Customer Service, they will put you off to get you out of the warranty period. No Supervisor's on site, and they will not call you back as promised!!Buyer Beware!
