Don't settle for less than Lauterborn!!! This family-owned company is top-notch for quality work and excellent service. When I first moved into my home, Larry and his sons helped me install ceiling fans and a Ring security system (doorbell and camera). More recently when I needed a light fixture installed, I used them again.On top of being very skilled electricians, the Lauterborns always are so pleasant to talk to, and have exhibited lots of patience with finicky technology and detailed-oriented work. I never feel like they are rushing out the door to get to the next job -- despite being busy (i.e., popular), they always manage to make me feel like I'm their top priority, even for smaller jobs.I recommend Lauterborn Electric with enthusiasm and without hesitation! Best in the business!

Justin was called in by our Realty Company to fix 2 fixtures in our house. He contacted me immediately, aske me to take a few screenshots so he could prepare, and kept me informed about every step of the process via text. He even called after the work was done to explain what he did. He is trustworthy, experienced, and a neighborhood guy. I would recommend Justin a million times over, and will call him in the future for any electrical needs. My cat liked him, too. Hands down, best in South Philly.

Responsive (called on Friday and scheduled on Monday), professional, kind, and efficient. Explained things wonderfully (both when I initially called about a ceiling fan repair and it was recommended to do a replacement, and in terms of things with the installation-- weird controls, etc.) helped with even putting everything back in order. Also brought a drop cloth to make sure things stayed tidy, helped clean up after, and even took away all the trash. Could not have asked for better service.

Within a few hours of contacting Protech a technician was at my house diagnosing the problem with out outlets. Malvin was professional, courteous, and explained things well. I asked if he could switch an outlet to include usb portals and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. He gave a fair price and after agreeing to it completed the work within an hour. I would definitely recommend Protech.

Got my car charger installed by Tom. He did a great job, clean and thorough with his work. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in this field. I am a new electric car owner so he even answered all my questions precisely. Will definitely recommend him to my friends and family!

On July 12 the men came out to check my electric panel and charge me 55.00 dollars. I was ok with that but he said that if I wanted them to fix it, he would take 55.00 off my bill. And said he will send me a back down how much it would be to fix the panel. The he was going to send it that night. But he did not. So the next day I called him and ask him what happen I never the break down and he told me that he would email me the break down and I never got it. If he did not went the job,he should had said no I do not went the job I would have understood that but he should have never changed me if he was not going to take the job. I would understand if he took the money if I did not want the job done. I did not tell him yes; I wanted the job or noI did not want the job. I just need to figure out how I was going to pay him. If he does the right thing and give me back my money, I will let you guys know.And in the end they did right me!!Happy

I renovated my house in Graduate Hospital and needed a complete electrical rewiring. I got several offers and Al's was the best one. His worker (Douglas) came the day after and worked continuously until the work was done. Al himself was very good in communicating the work and suggesting any necessary changes while being honest about what things weren't truly mandatory as other contractors had misled us to believe. In addition, he gave me some good advice about the rest of the home renovations.All together, I highly recommend Al Fillipone -he is honest, professional and a good person to work with.

We had a breaker go out with no apparent cause in our new construction home. They came within hours of our call and were friendly, professional, and very dedicated to tracking down the problem, even though it required a return visit to fully diagnose thanks to our builder's 'creative' wiring. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the north Philly area.
