Representatives of A & A arrived when they said they would and performed the needed service (an extensive repair) in a timely manner. The repair was completed when promised and put our electrical system back to it's original and properly operating status. Both of the technicians were polite and kept us fully informed all during the repair as to the status and what they were accomplishing.

Another amazing experience with Berkeyd. Emailed them yesterday and they called me back and set up an appointment for today. Got here today and got our AC up and running in less than an hour. Great service by Jeff our technician!

Getting my AC fixed was a breeze! Phenomenal communication and timeliness. They did what they said they would do, and did it at a very affordable price. Manual was very courteous and accommodating!

These guys really know their stuff, especially the electrician and HVAC technician who inspected our residential HVAC system. They could pinpoint problems in the original installation, where corners were cut without informing or asking me, such as re-use of smaller R22 refrigerant lines that reduced system performance and life expectancy.

I called them to replace a dishwasher heating element and a possible supply line valve replacement. Their team arrived on time, and the work was done correctly and efficiently. “Nacho” was polite, courteous and clearly experienced. My only feedback is maybe having team members carry extra company uniforms and ensure they have a full set of tools/equipment for the job. It’s no problem for me. But some folks like to see a fresh uniform, boot covers on in a house, and fully equipped.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
