We've used Comfort Experts for the past few years. They are professional, kind, and considerate. The techs explain everything to you and are very helpful. The office staff is also very nice.I love that they send pictures of the techs and they keep you updated on time of arrival.Ryan and his assistant Galvin were pleasant and polite.

Ryan, our technician, was so helpful and informative. He was efficient, kind and explained everything....even offering some solid tips. We will definitely use this company again and were very pleased they also offer plumbling and electrical service. The office personnel were also great when helping me schedule the service. Great all around!

My washer overflowed so I called to get it checked out. Javier arrived, checked it out, and confirmed nothing was wrong. I really appreciate his honesty. The last time I had someone come out for an AC issue, he wanted to sell me something I didn't even need. Not sure if you pay the techs extra for racking up charges on the customer, but it's better to be honest than sell me something I don't need. Good job Javier.

During the summer we contacted Comfort Experts to have an new HVAC system installed. Everything looked great until I noticed that the incorrect SEER rating had been installed. After contacting them they tried to say that it was just the outside unit that was incorrect. After looking up the model it was clear that both the inside and outside units were incorrect. After contacting them several times to get this resolved they finally refunded the difference since I really didn't trust this company at this point. Fast forward 6 months and I noticed that my Nest thermostat was not working, after looking at the inside AC unit I noticed that the breaker was tripped and on further inspection that a female disconnect had become loose and shorted. I called at 9 this morning and again at 1p.m., and there is no manager to talk to. After spending the night in my autistic daughter room to make sure that she didn't get to cold and no sleep I am very disappointed in this companies ethics and commitment to their customers.Also everyone should ensure that they installed the correct SEER rated units and that they weren't screwing other people over. Look up the model number and Google it and it will give you the SEER rating.

Thanks Comfort Experts for scheduling my yearly tune-up for Spring this year. The service person was on time and very courteous.The report that the technician provided to me looked incomplete and many simple answers were left blanks.The report looks like it has data missing.If the report has a simple question like... Checking for air leaks? Would you answer the question with None or Needs repair?Inspection question: Fan motor and blade condition? Answer is left blank. Many of the blank answers might indicate there were no problems or maybe it was not inspected?The report does not indicate the new the electrical part placed on the system. The inspection report should include the new recommended and installed component.Where is the record for this new electrical part installed on my system?Did this new part reduce the demand for startup power?Where are the test results for this new electrical part?What is the compressor amp draw, now that the compressor relay is installed?The tune-up report appears to have several simple yes and no answers to inspection questions, but many have been left blank.During the inspection, was the system checked for carbon monoxide leaks?What is going on with that overall drain system and condition? Does the overflow drain system function properly?There was no explanation in the report and answer left blank.Since Comfort Experts installed my system, I have had no problems and installation was very professionally done. The inspection report should be complete and indicate simple explanations for future maintenance, repair or prevention.The report does not provide any comments, actions, or observations for homeowners to be aware of.

We have a small rental unit in Fort Worth but we no longer live in the area. The tenants notified us that the AC had gone out right in the middle of the Memorial Day weekend. Despite the holiday, the team at Comfort Experts was able to schedule and complete our repair within about 3 hours. We will certainly be going back to them for any future AC maintenance needs.

!!!PRICE GOUGING!!!We had them come do a seasonal tune up. The technician was great. However I was told that I would need a new capacitor for one of my units. The quote for just one was a little over $400. I bought the required part for $30 and installed it in 10 minutes myself. Before you have them complete work do a little research to verify that they aren't price gauging.I have no training in AC units as a base line for how easy the repair was. Unscrew 3 screws, unplug the old, plug in the new and re insert the 3 screws it was all done.Their prices are absurd. 10/10 do not recommend based on them trying to steal the costumers money by charging unrealistic prices. I would hope they would be more reasonable in their quotes going forward.The technician did not reconnect something properly on our attic unit. When I turned it on the wire made contact with metal and we had a burning smell. Thank goodness he had not driven off yet. He came back in and properly put everything back together.

The team at Comfort Experts, Inc. are very courteous and friendly starting from the customer service rep to the installer. Tyler installed a new thermostat for our old furnace and did an amazing job! We are happy with the service.

Have had the pleasure of speaking with both Elise & Shay. Both were very pleasant & answered any questions I had. Mark D (w/Justin - trainee) was the technician that came out. Very pleasant, respectful, answered all our questions, felt as though he gave us a more than thorough a/c exam & feedback as to our issue. Assisted us by contacting company himself to get some of our questions answered (financing) & made a convenient appt for us to have a pricing/finance person come out next day to go iver options.

We’ve always had GREAT service from everyone at Hobson Air/Comfort Experts and Craig Bucher did not disappoint! He was very efficient, knowledgeable, informative and thorough. We get their AC/heater tune-ups every year, these Texas seasons are torture on a system. Always good to stay ahead of the curve. Thank you, Craig!

Every person that helped us, Ryan S with the initial diagnosis, Daniel B with the a/c choices, Jhorden and Philip with the installation, were so amazing. They were all so nice, knowledgeable, and super helpful. We will definitely use them again for any a/c and heating needs.

Pure sales job, this kid Steven looked at my unit for 5 minutes and pointed out a million reasons why my air handler was dead. It ended up that the ground wire that wasn't fully connected to the thermostat. I had another company come out and they fixed it for about $100. Comfort Experts/Hobsin Air wanted to sell me a new unit for 10-16k. On a side note; Daniel the sales guy was great. If you want to pay for a new unit, call these guys. But I'd personally never do business with them again.

Tune up AC system, but pretty much just make an inspection to offer you the correction or the replacement or a membership... They sold me the tube up as they will clean and give some maintenance, but didn't do nothing just checked the some points. They don't have to sell it as a tune up, the got to sell it as visual check points.... Disappointed ?

Searching for a HVAC service in the fort worth area seemed like a task until I found Comfort Experts! My service technician kellen came to my home and he was very pleasant, thorough and professional. He was very informative and showed me so much stuff during the process that I felt I learned something along the way! All that to say, he was very inclusive and I didn't feel like I was out of the loop on what was going on in my home. After showing me everything and having a detailed conversation on my issues, it helped me make the best choice moving forward! Thoroughly inspected and cleaned my compressors identifying defective capacitor as reason compressor has been making unusual noise when running that needed to be replaced. Showed me pictures of everything inspected and verified to be in good condition. Answered all my questions. Clean and friendly.

Mike was very professional yet personable. He explained everything he was doing clearly and gave great advice on reducing wear on my system and my electricity use.

Kellen was great as well as the other gentleman who came with him (I don’t recall his name). They were both very professional. Kellen did his assessment and was more through and knowledgeable than any other comfort express tech who’s serviced my system. I hope I’m able to get him to come out again in the spring to get my system tuned up and ready for summer.

Joel B. was on time (early) and explained what was to be done. Checked all systems involved, took pictures and explained findings/recommendations. Very personable and knowledgeable, willing to answer questions.

My repair man was Dennis. He was super nice and told me exactly what the problem was within 5 min of getting to my address. The problem I have is the price.... I was charged $689 for a capacitor and electric control unit. Way too pricy when I can buy my own capacitor for less than $100 online. Great service but the prices are a rip off.

Comfort Experts came out to my house to repair a blower motor. It took them over 48 hours from first call to actually getting someone to the house. First tech was supposed to show up between 8am and noon on the first day of the blower not working. This didn't happen and the tech didn't come out until the afternoon of the second day. Tech told me the motor he had wasn't the right one but he was confident it would work. I agreed because we hadn't had air in 2 days and the house was 92 degrees. He told me he wouldn't charge me for the motor if it didn't work. After the repair, the system blew air but it wasn't cool. Apparently he lied because he still charged me for the motor that didn't work and then left the house. So, the tech was completely full of it. He lied about how he would charge me and the system still wasn't working when he left. Truly egregious business practice here. We called another company after he was gone, who came out that evening and was able to have the correct parts by the next morning.

My father in law recommended Comfort Experts to me and I'm glad he did. The three gentlemen that came and revamped our entire upstairs duct system were great. They did a good job, stayed late to finish the job, and cleaned up after themselves. They even helped unclog the condensation drain on our AC unit that wasn't part of why they were there. They also offered the same services as another company at a much better value. I will be using them for my future HVAC needs.

Tyler did a WONDERFUL job for my seasonal maintenance. I have some medical conditions that caused me trouble with the filter. He showed me how to open the compartment and replace the accordion the larger filter.

Our heater stopped working in the middle of one of our coldest weeks. I called that morning to request service, in less than 4 hours we had a technician at our home. Casey found the issue very quickly. He repaired everything, we have heat, and the price wasn't unaffordable either! Great job Casey and team. Thank you so much!!

Edit: Joel serviced my house today and was equally awesome ???10/10. I was experiencing several issues with my home HVAC system for months. After multiple visits from my HVAC professional at the time I believe the situation actually got worse, ultimately leading to thousands of dollars of damage to my home. When I switched over to Comfort Experts they sent someone the same day (and it was the weekend), he located several issues -- some caused by my previous mechanic and some that were probably the issues all along -- and fixed every single one, right there on the spot. The HVAC professional, Jose G, explained everything clearly, professionally, and with an excellent attitude. I was so incredibly happy after his visit. If my experience was the norm from Comfort Experts then I highly recommend them and I will be calling on them in the future should I need anything else.

They are professional and have a good value and discounts for basic maintenance. If you need any repairs done their prices are quite high. I got two quotes and they were both crazy. I would def use again for maintenance but no chance Id call them for an actual repair or add-on.

I just recently had a new system installed by Comfort Experts after using them for years. The installers were fantastic and did a great job. System is running great and I look forward to the energy savings!!

Don was very professional when he came to our home to discuss options for our new AC unit. He was thorough and explained everything in detail, and answered our questions. I loved when he asked if he could step out for a few minutes to allow us time to discuss the options he reviewed. He was very personable, which I love, as it allowed us to get to know a little about him and ourselves. He was also respectful of our time. He delivered excellent customer service and did it effortlessly. This company responds quickly to any issues or concerns. The technicians are knowledgeable and offer detailed insight about the services they are providing. We have never been disappointed with this company as they aim to provide exceptional service.

A few winters back, before the big winter storm that left us without power, our heater stopped running. They were there as soon as possible and got us set up with a new ac/heater and got it installed. They have service plans where they come out once a year and check over your system. Ours had a 12 year warranty. A thingy on the outside unit went out over the weekend and they came out on a Sunday and got her working again. God bless Dennis, it took him about 15 minutes to replace the defective part and we were cool again within an hour. All it cost us was the call minus 20%. Thank you Dennis and the fine staff at Comfort Air!

Tyler arrived when expected and finished quickly. I believe we first hired comfort experts in 2002. We have nothing but praise for this company. they hire technicians who are educated in the field and are very polite and thorough.

Very non-responsive! I asked them to come out and check a load banging noise on a new system - that they just installed 1-2 months prior - and they spent 20 minutes to check it. I was not advised of the $79 service fee until I received an email weeks later. I called them and they advised I would need to pay the fee. I asked to be called by management - sent an email - no response!

Zach L, was out to do a tuneup on the A/C, gotta get ready for this Texas heat! He was super informative & thorough, explained the process & made me feel confident in our system. Great guy! Great company.

Zack from Comfort Experts/Hobson did a great job on the maintenance service. Took his time explaining what he had done and went into detail about the functioning of my HVAC system. All is well and functioning as it should. No parts or additional services were required. I am very pleased.

The repair tech said the compressor was out, but did not determine why. Then sales came out and sold us on a new heat pump. The price was gouging high, but I thought we were getting a good unit. The day after, the crew came out to install. I searched the cost of the unit that was installed. Our bill was over $8000 for a $3000 unit and a new thermostat that the techs said was a nightmare to work with. The new unit installed froze up over night. They did not come back to fix it. Turns out. Our Filter was very dirty. The repair man, the sales man, and the install crew. NEVER even looked at it.. what a joke of a buisness.

The technician Mark was great. He went through both my inside and outside A/C units and diagnosed my issues. He was knowledgeable and professional. What I didn't like was I received a call stating the technician would be at my home at 10am. If I had not received this call I would not have had a big issue with Mark actually showing up at 1:30pm. I had to make 2 calls to the office and threatened to cancel my service call. If you tell a customer that the technician will be there at a certain time it you shouldn't have to wait 4 hours for the actual arrival.

Technician Simon M. came out and got to work immediately. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I have been using Comfort Experts since 2009 and have had only positive experiences. They are very responsive and have always done a great job at my home. I recommend them and will continue to use them.

Ryan S did a good job servicing my HVAC and easily convinced me to sign up for a service contract sign I had small repairs on my AC and saved 20% on the service. He also showed me my dirty vents and recommended duct cleaning and schedule a date and time and told me I can change it and reschedule if needed.

I was w/o heat for 4 days. Once I knew what the problem was, I called Hudson and they fixed the problem in less than 6 hours.

Ryan and crew arrived on time. They listened to my description of the problem with my water heater. Ryan did some testing and made a diagnosis of an electrical issue at the breaker box. They replaced the needed part and I have hot water again. Will definitely call Comfort Experts again should I need any other services. I highly recommend them. Great job and great service!

Just so you know, I'm reserving 5 stars until I see how their warranty program holds up. This company did a fabulous job installing the the new air conditioning unit on my primary home, so I called them to do annual mannual maintenance on our rental unit. During the servicing, they discovered that the capacitor was not operating properly. While no one really wants to hear that news, the good thing about this was that they were able to repair it at the same visit. No waiting for them to come back. I'm not going to say that they are the least expensive company, or even moderately affordable. They are probably one of the two highest price points out there. But you get what you pay for and so far, I have been impressed with their quality of service and the professionalism of their personnel.

Andrew J was an outstanding tech who was able to find the problem and get our AC working. Glad our service ended with him after the way it started . We were scheduled for service at 10 am which was verified first thing Saturday morning. We finally had Andrew arrive at 2 pm. It certainly would have been nice to reach out and let us know there had been an emergency call. I’m sure most of your customers have things that need to be done instead of waiting for a technician to show. If it had not been for Andrew it would have been a disappointing experience. Riley’s performance was nothing short of incredible!!! His professionalism was awesome, and he seemed very knowledgeable concerning his products and procedures. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with him and his company. I am 66 years old and quite the ‘horse trader’ and I have never approved a contract to the highest bidder. I did this time because Riley earned my trust and business within a few short hours during his visit.The installation team of Desmond and Jose were awesome as well! They arrived on timed, explained what they were going to do, and proceeded to install our new HVAC system. They had a few setbacks such as the original unit had some cosmetic damage - it looked like it had been dropped - but after making a few phone calls a replacement unit was delivered and installed.Theresa stopped by several.weeks after the installation to perform a quality check and take the required pictures for the local government. She was very pleasant, professional, and very thorough.In conclusion I would rate all aspects of theperformance of Comfort Experts to be 5 Stars!

The guys came out and found there wasn’t a problem with my hvac but fridge on the other side of the wall. They even checked an electrical panel I had a question about and helped set me up for an electrical check up. Awesome experience, nice guys, totally recommend.

Called Thursday, made an appointment from 10 am to 5 pm for next day. Earlier that day (10 am) I called to see when the technician will be arriving, they told me that there were 2 people ahead of me. I called at 5 pm they said that they have 3 people ahead of me.??? Anyways the technician arrived at 10:45 pm at night. Conclusion: they want me to buy a new HVAC, that was not in my plan. It did not work for me.

Andrew did the tune-up on our new system, which is a year old this month. Comfort Experts/Hobson has been very satisfactory. Also, the customer service people are the nicest ever, as well as Rob, who came out and discussed our options and plans for getting a new system. Simon was professional and friendly. He fixed the partial blockage of the drain on our heat pump. Also recommended I consider a compressor Saver which would extend it's life. We are considering it. All the Comfort expert people are competent and friendly.

I had to get a new HVAC system installed in my new house, and after shopping around I decided to go with Comfort Experts, I was sold by their expert sales guy and all their guarantees and what not, seemed like I couldn't go wrong.install went well enough and things have seemed to work fine, except when they aren't. It hasn't even been two months yet and already my system has failed twice. They came out to get it up and running the first time and did, apparently a part defect and they ended up having to unplug something and leave it dangling, it's been about 4 weeks since then and I haven't heard anything about that part getting replaced or fixed, but my AC sure is broke again.I also gave them a quote over a month ago for their 'low price guarantee' and I keep being told they will look into it by their customer quality person, still over 4 weeks later and just radio silence. I'm regretting spending 11k with this company to install a new system.I do like that their service techs will come out when you need them and get things up and running, but my overall experience outside of that hasn't been a good one.Would recommend looking elsewhere.

Gave this company a chance to give me an estimate on labor since the parts were still under manufacturer warranty and they send a 22 year old inexperience kid to spend 6 hours at my house as a salesman since they are based on commissions and instead of an estimate on repairs. would only give a high estimate to include parts. They missed out on making $1K labor to change out my coil under warranty.

They did a wonderful job on our System. The tech was polite, well-groomed, wore shoe covers so he wouldn’t mess up my floors. He was efficient but very nice. It was a very positive experience.

Riley H provided along with Casey Dobbs provided a very professional review of maintenance and replacement options, which made the decision process much smoother. And Casey specifically executed the plan in the most professional and expedient manner.

I have used Comfort Experts since I bought my first house in 2019. Before that, they have taken care of my families properties all across Johnson County. Great service, great techs, even the ladies on the phone are amazing. You can hear the smile across the phone. Just had my first service checkup since having the full new system installed in June of 2019, and the tech (Kenneth) went above and beyond. Gave me some recommendations for addons without being pushy (being a salesmen myself, he did a great job, just not in buying mode given the economy), installed my in line air filter in the attic for me even though it was not part of his tasks for the day. Couldn’t be happier, and glad I chose Comfort Experts for my A/C and Heating company.

Had a tune up done on my a/c unit. Dennis was very knowledgeable, wasn't put out by my old, old a/c unit. Talked to me about how my unit was functioning and made suggestions. His positive attitude and his professional manner were appreciated. Will be using them again!

Called for emergency AC diagnosis. Outdoor unit completely froze and making noises. Casey D made the diagnosis gave us a picture of what was happening and a wise next step to take. Highly recommend this company. They send communications in a timely manner and their Techs are courteous, accurate and knowledgeable.

Great experience from beginning to end! The sales guy that came out to help me pick a unit was knowledgeable and not pushy. At all. I felt extremely comfortable about making such a big purchase. The service men that came to install my new unit were respectful and great. Very efficient. After installing the unit he went over the details of the unit and answered all my questions. Very satisfied with this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Texted the customer service least night at about 8pm and they had a technician out today to help diagnose an issue. It ended up being something that will require a plumber and their plumbers are booked solid for a couple weeks so I'm going with another company for the plumbing repair, but I've been very happy with this company every time I've used them. Will definitely be calling them again with any A/C related issues.

We had a good experience with Comfort Experts. We really enjoyed working with Mickey - he answered all of our questions, was upfront, and when an issue did come up, he handled things very professionally. Our A/C compressor went out after nearly 15 years, and we were already customers of Comfort Experts. Rob G. came out last Saturday and thoroughly explained all of our options, from repairs to various levels of system replacement. He did a great job of explaining all the different features of the different system levels and went over pros and cons of each one in depth. We decided on a Level 4 heat exchange system, just good enough to be called Ultra High Efficiency, and we're really looking forward to getting it installed.Edit - One Year Later:Our system has done an awesome job over the past year, saving money every month! We are more than pleased with our system's performance.Now 4 years later, the system is working great but we’re having an issue with a fuse or breaker. The tech Gabriel did an awesome job and was completely professional and safe.

Great service with workers with great attitudes. We had a 1 year old in the house during the install and they were very considerate. The worker who came to our house and educated me on the options was also excellent. A gem of a company to work with.

Simon came out on a Sunday to fix our air conditioning that had quit working in the middle of the night. He was very professional and happy to answer me questions. He did a great job of explaining the problem to me and went about getting it fixed quickly. Very respectful and friendly attitude, made me feel good about using Comfort Experts for the past 15+ years for all me cooling and heating needs. Great job Simon, thanks again for your help.

My technician Marshall was very professional, he was on time. He called ahead of time to let me know that he was in route.He appeared to be very informative, he explained the problem where I/we could really get a good understanding. The only reason I did not give him all 6 stars is cause he did not do the work. And we wanted to get a second opinion.The guy from the 2nd company, pretty much said the same thing. But he was confused by the example that Marshall gave me. (Telling me that the coating was worn off the Coil, and that's why the AC was leaking).But as an overall, I have no complaints.

My previous experiences have been very good and posted as so. This one not as much so.Very professional during the appointment setup. Arrived on time. Effectively resolved the issue - as it turns out, a very simple issue, particularly if the system has been previously serviced which it has been.There was a minimum charge of $99 established during appointment setup. After a quick assessment, it was clear all our system needed was a system reset as it was in pressure lockout mode - it only requires a button push. Paying $99 for a button push doesn't make me feel very good, but I recognize the time for a service call does take time/money.But then the bill showed the expected Service Fee of $99 and an additional $82 for 'Repair'. $181 for a button push 'Repair' is not a good value. Furthermore, the resolution (button push) wasn't volunteered so we could perform that ourselves next time. Once we asked for how to fix it, the information was provided courteously.

I love Comfort Experts!!! Great customer service and knowledgeable technicians!! They replaced my heating and a/c system 11 years ago, they service it every 6 months. I haven't had any issues since the installation! It lowered my utility bill and I now live in a comfortable environment.Highly recommend Comfort Experts!!!!

Hands down the best experience after several lack luster performances from other local companies.We bought our house almost 6 years ago. Going into the purchase we knew that we would need a new system within a short time frame.Starting in 2019 we had issues that built on each other. From our AC not cooling adequately to finally the heat going completely out.I had been recommended several local companies that came out to repair the system. Not one of these companies explained to me how badly I needed a replacement. They would come out adjust, repair or install a new component.... charge us ridiculous rates and really not fix the issue.Finally after these experiences and while I was at work.... the system finally crashed. Hard. It completely stopped working. I frankly had enough. I searched through several reviews and called Comfort Experts.Not only was the receptionist very pleasing to deal with she seemed to truly care about our situation. They had a service technician out within 3 hours. Not only did he address this issue with my wife he called me and talked through every issue with the system and answered all questions I had and showed me how bad the unit was and how UNSAFE (fire hazard). Seriously was on the phone with this guy for almost an hour.Moving ahead to later that night they sent a install technician (the price guy) to come over and talk through the costs. I was still on shift and he sat down with my wife and me through a video call and we went through all the options. Seriously there were a ton. He made simple and easy to understand.When it comes to cost they had the best deals I could find and I got a really good discount for paying it all in cash....The install guys were put the next day and besides the truck in our driveway you wouldn't know they were there. They were super friendly and worked efficiently. They went over everything they did and the system as a whole. They showed me the maintenance that would need to be done regularly as well as the filters and drain lines. Just awesone!!!!Even after all of that they sent quality control over to discuss the process and see if I had any questions, concerns or comments. This was a CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCEI cant speak highly enough about them. I will be using them for all of my needs now and in the future. We are also looking at building within the next 2 years and I know I will be using them for our HVAC needs.I'm horrible with names. However if anyone within the process of helping out my wife, sons, and I are reading this.... THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE HARD WORK. Good experience!Desmond and Jose did great jobs, they were very attentive and helpful. New AC, vents cleaned after 20 years, insulation sprayed in a hot attic. All done well and with care.

Casey' was the serviceman who came out today. He was a very pleasant, articulate, and THOROUGH HVAC representative for the Comfort Experts business. He's the sort of employee who you want to showcase for your business because he put the customer first. He was outside in the twenty degree weather for probably an hour thoroughly inspecting three of our heat pumps. Then, he had to climb a set of stairs and go in two, different levels of attics to open up the air handlers. By the time he left, I was certain we'll survive this upcoming record cold and snow, for the next few days, with our units still running. He even took the time to look at my thirteen year-old water heaters. He made suggestions of things I might consider (duct cleaning, installing UV lights inside the handlers, etc.) as well as forewarning me of burned contacts and a coil that are on their last legs, but he did NOT 'push' me into any purchases. That's important to me. He was a very personable and likable fellow.

Alex was very courteous kind enough to explain to us what needed to be fixed to get our air conditioner/heat pump up & running. He gave us tips for maintaining our air conditioner so it would last many more years.He was very clean & neat.Comfort Experts worked us in to their schedule in less than 6 hours. If we have to call them out again, we will ask them to send Alex as our technician. We also found out that if they have ever had to replace a part, they will not charge us if that part ever needs to be replaced on this unit again. We were very pleased!

Overall, the company is incredibly responsive. If I leave a message before business hours, they get right back to me first thing when they open. They let me know when I'm the next stop for the technician as well as when they are on their way/getting close. Excellent communication!!!Unfortunately, we've had a lot of issues with our A/C system and so they get called out to us pretty often. Fortunately, we have a service plan that has covered many of the expenses for no additional cost. They usually are able to come out that same day...which sometimes ends up being as late as 10pm or 11pm.Jeremiah has been my tech the last 3 (or 4?) times. Even though it's late sometimes and I know he's probably had a long day, he's still super courteous, friendly, explains what work was done, and corrects the issue. I really appreciate the work that he does. :)Good company...I'd recommend them!

Bryan was very good. He took time to explain things to me. Unfortunately the installation personal did not educate me on the warranty program at the time the unit was installed. My contract says 5 years but now I hear its only 1 year that is extremely disappointing and unacceptable.I would give Bryan 4 stars.Received call from Comfort Experts regarding my concerns. I called Comfort Experts to have the AC checked, because it was not cooling and holding to the set temp. I received a call back from Janet who advised of the timeframe that I could expect the technician. I received a second call from Janet and a text message from the technician to let me know he was on the way.Jose arrived at 3:15, which was approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from the time I scheduled the service call. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Jose patiently listed to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He came prepared and was very thorough. Ultimately, it was not the thermostat but needed a Freon charge. I was very impressed with Jose and would definitely recommend this company.

Took out old heating and air conditioning system and replaced with new system. They arrived on time and quickly began working. They also showed me how to operate the new thermostat and removed the old units I am very satisfied with their work. Terrific job

My family has been using comfort expert for 3+ years and they have sold out family 2 new AC units (super expensive). The most recent unit installed 1 year ago, is working fine and I had my yearly service/tune-up about 2 weeks ago and was told I just needed to change the filter.Now, I’m dealing with a rat infestation in my attic. Want to know why? Because Comfort Experts recommended to add new insulation on top of old insulation, and that’s basically rat breeding ground heaven. I wasn’t too shocked at this when the Critter Control manager explained, but what did shock me and made me feel like our family was taken advantage of was the fact that the air ducts in the attic were NOT securely connected to my air vents. Only one of them was clamped down. Out of the 7 air vents in my house, only ONE was properly installed. In addition, old insulation and new insulation was found in the air vents themselves so Comfort Experts didn’t even think to clear these when installing or actually attach them correctly. For an entire year, my BRAND NEW AC/heating has been running harder than it should because this company cut corners where it shouldn’t. In addition, this is something every employee should check for when doing annual or semi-annual check ups. Not to mention that to fix the rat problem, a Critter Control company (not AC experts) had to suck all old and new insulation out and PROPERLY lay down new insulation amounting to over $5,000 is labor and materials. This is unacceptable service/work from any AC company, let alone one that has taken lots of money from our family to incorrectly do their “job”.

He did not rush rather explained what he was doing and took time to answer my questions and made suggestions while completing my heating repairs. I found him trustworthy and highly recommend his services.

Comfort Air had a tech at my house to repair my inoperable furnace within 2 hours. Tyler was professional,courteous, and highly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed that the furnace igniter failed and the flame sensor should be replaced, and showed me the burnt out part. He quoted me the cost for parts and labor, and then quickly fixed the problem. Our house was nice and warm again in no time. Outstanding service!

Ryan was awesome and so was Sam! They took the time to show me where the areas on my compressor weren't working and made sure I knew the cost before proceeding with any repairs.If I have any needed repairs in the future, I only want Ryan to assist me with my AC needs.

My technicians were very polite and respectful of my home. They spent the entire day taking out my old system along with all the ducts and replacing them with new. They also had to relocate the new unit which required new wiring to be placed along with the plumbing. They did an excellent job!!!!

Had a furnace repair needed after I had a power surge that knocked out my main electrical panel. I called in the morning and they were able to come out same-day. Dennis was able to quickly diagnose the problem and offer me options for repair. All in all, it was a great value - so much so that I signed up for their maintenance plan. Will definitely be using them again (unfortunately) ?.

Run from this place. I recently moved in and hired them based on the glowing reviews and they charged me $700 to sign up for an annual contract for all 3 units...then charged me another $1300 to install switches that stop the AC units if they start leaking water. A little pricey, considering I had them installed in Florida for my 3 units for $500. Anyhow, one of my AC units stopped working today and called them to come out and they said they couldn't because I had a home warranty and they don't work with those. Mind you, I called them regardless of a home warranty...I wasn't going to use it as I was a customer of theirs and was willing to pay out of pocket...I didn't even think about my home warranty at all!Ashley then told me they couldn't work on it because they didn't work with home warranty companies and I told her not to worry about it because I was paying out of pocket and she said NO CAN DO. What the hell??? It's going to be 108 degrees today and I bought a package with them to service my AC units and she said NO CAN DO????? Didn't ask about a home warranty when I signed up with them at first!Totally unprofessional and even though they don't sell services they certainly suggest a lot. I was also suggested I get an attic tent installed for $800. Googled it and on Amazon you can pick one up for $50 and install it yourself. Do yourself a favor and RUN from this crazy place!

This full installation of a new HVAC was installed mid April 2021 by employees of Comfort Experts of FT Worth ;Jose and Keandre were excellent installment technicians.They were thoughtful and conscientious of us, our animals and our home. They wore masks, were gentle on our old house and flooring, and cleaned up after themselves.They were both patient with our questions throughout the install and collaborative in telling us what they were doing next and problem solving. They prioritized which steps of the job to get done with rain coming during the day. Our house presented a few challenges. The attic is tiny, will not fit a human, and has limited access points. Keandre was determined and creative in how to get as much insulation coverage as possible. I was very satisfied with the results. Our utility closet was a tight fit and Jose adeptly problem solved how to fit in the new indoor unit around pre-existing gas lines and drain lines. At the end of the day Jose remarked he liked the challenge. Jose gave us a great orientation of all the new equipment and patiently answered all our questions even though it was getting late.On top of all of this, they arrived on time, immediately ready to work, they were both kind and pleasant to share a space with for 8+hrs and great to our animals. He examined both units. checked the attic unit thoroughly and installed a new uv light,poured bleach down the drain to clean He thoroughly cleaned the outside unit, detected a leak ,ordered a new hose and added cooling lliquid. He checked the thermostat running both the heat and the air to be sureeverything was running properly. He spent almost two and a half hours going over the units.

We felt we could trust Comfort Experts from the beginning. We have been treated with respect the whole time .The huge job of extracting our old unit and installing a new one was done in 100*+ heat and the young men did a great job.From Greg Hobson to Tyler and Jeremiah, then Brian and all the pros who answer the phone......we wanted a local company, family owned. All professional, pleasant and of course knew their stuff all was explained very very well !!This is the second system Jose G and his crew have installed for us in two days. Back to back. Each install posed their Own challenges due to how system was installed previously by some other company. Jose G did not get deterred. So anyway Theresa was so nice and professional .. checked all out and explained many details throughly.. very informative!I give Theresa Coe very high marks! We’ve had our unit for five years and numerous service men have been to our home 33 times to fix the unit. The service men have been awesome in getting it back to running again. The unit itself not so awesome. It is a Coleman which we were told a good brand. Should be for the amount we paid but countless problems one after another. Constantly paying the $79 service charge which adds up considering they’re constantly here. Also paying $15 monthly for their gold package whatever so we don’t go broke with labor and parts not covered under warranty. It’s been a nightmare and a very costly one at that!!!!

Been with the company for several years. So far most techs we have had have been very upfront and honest. Today was no different. I am not a huge fan of spending more than necessary but if something will help me long term then I’m inclined. He offered a couple of extra services that would help the units and chose the one and will add the other probably another time. Always friendly and explained everything well!

Our tec Alex, was working the issue with the air conditioner with a smile and a can do attitude. He was willing to keep working in the heat to get the job completed.. Tyler is an excellent technician. He is professional, thorough and friendly. He did a great job doing the seasonal tune up and cleaning of my A/C and Heating system. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Mark B showed up on time and helped me out a lot. I'm a new landlord who tries to learn as much as I can about every part of my systems and he went above and beyond explaining every aspect of what he was doing while I was shadowing him. We discussed the best course of action and he gave me all my options. I didn't go with the most expensive which could've been the best option in the long run but he got my system cooling again and that's what I needed so I could get my tenant settled in. Mark clearly knows a ton about A/C systems.

The technician came in, took the thermostat thing off the wall, told me it was rechargeable with a USB micro cable. That was a very expensive lesson for me & probably the easiest call for him. I was quoted 1 price in the phone but told a higher amount when the tech showed up. It was bad enough that the service fee was so high, I was not paying more for something that I should have been told about when they installed the unit. I paid the price I was quoted on the phone. I've never had this happen before. This was the 2nd time today she had misquoted a price.

The service tech was great. He was friendly and professional. He had worked a long day before coming to our location and most people would have not been at their best. He was on his game the whole time. He was more then fair. He repaired the system and went out of his way to do his best. We went above and beyond what a person would normally do. On a 10 to 1 scale I would give him a 10 on everything.

Comfort experts were knowledgeable on the problems we were having with our unit, and recommendations on how to approach a fix that would last. They helped understand exactly what we needed. They were able to get us scheduled quickly for a new system install, which was a huge bonus in the summer heat! Would defiantly recommend.

Phil was very attentive to detail. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained everything that was done and pointed out a small door latch that needed replacing. We ordered it along with my filter and he will come back to install the part. I was very impressed.

Heating quit. A check of the outside unit did not indicate a problem. The indoor portion of the heat pump was not running. Checked the Circuit Breakers to insure power was available, but the unit was not moving air. The Technician found the blower motor (variable speed model) had failed. He replace the motor with a temporary single-speed motor so that the house could be heated and ordered a new variable speed unit that was compatible with the unity. When the new part is received he will return to complete the motor replacement. His attitude was friendly, his professional knowledge was good, and his work was excellent. I hope he will be the technician who installs the new motor when received.

AC went out Saturday afternoon. Comfort Experts was able to get Casey out to fix it by 9:30pm. We were back up with cool AC in no time.

Comfort Experts did a great job of adjusting to our challenging scheduling needs even when we had to change. They were great about contacting us with courteous reminders. Joseph was punctual, courteous, professional, respectful, and did a great overall job. Didn't pressure about follow-up work, and offered helpful recommendations. Highly recommend using these guys.

Really appreciated Mark B's help with our sink. It was a quick and easy repair and he was able to help educate us on a few other small plumbing related questions. I expect we'll be reaching out to Mark again for future help on any HVAC or electrical issues as well.

I rarely post a review about a company. My latest experience with Comfort Experts made me decide to share my experience. I see a lot of positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experiences with them have not been.I started as a customer many years ago, and through the years the service was different every time. A few years ago, I had a technician come out for a tune up and the breaker outside went up in flames after the technician touched it and i was told it would cost 400 dollars to fix, No thanks.2 years ago, my AC went out. I shopped around, and Comfort experts had the best overall deal with financing in relation to my financial standing at that time. Installers came out, did their job and the fun began after that. Something did not seem right so i asked a question, sales person who sold the unit was insinuating i was not being truthful, and come to find out the installers did not install an additional piece to my unit. It did not fit, no one told me and they just left. It took nearly 2 months to resolve the issue. I had to constantly call to get status updates since no one from the company ever called me. All i was ever told was that they are working on it.I was a day away from filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. They refunded basically a months loan payment and i could swear i was given 3 years of their gold service plan.Now comes the reasoning that prompted me to write this review. 2 Saturdays ago, I woke up to a busted AC, i call and was told someone would come out. No talks of charges or anything. tech shows up at 930pm and is here until 130am. Looks like a compressor issue, Following Thursday tech comes out to replace the compressor. No issues there. 3 days later AC out again, I get on the phone and talk to someone i have never spoken to before. He starts talking about charges to send someone out, i asked about the last service call and was told that the person who set that up was new and should not have done that. I did argue about it and was told they have a business to run. Tech comes out shortly after and finds that the unit that was installed had incorrect parts from the manufacturer installed which caused all the issues. He fixed it and we were good to. The next day i get a follow up call about extending my service plan and that it expired. I argued that i have been told multiple dates about my service plan expiration. I was also told that if I do not pay to extend my service plan, Comfort Experts will not honor their parts or labor warranties. I was floored by this statement.To Comfort Experts,The way your company operates is awful. For a customer to have to pay to have parts and labor warranties honored is ridiculous. I was told that your technicians have integrity, but I question the integrity of the company as a whole. You seemingly do not stand behind the work your techs do or the products/services you provide unless a customer pays for you to honor it. For people on the phone to always shift blame or make statements that someone is new, is not something a customer wants to hear. It shows lack of professionalism from the individual answering the phone on top of lack of on the job training being provided to employees. I know that this one little negative review will go without anyone giving it a thought since there are so many positive reviews, but you lost a customer once and for all and all the people i know and have spoken to which is a pretty far reach around the DFW metroplex. I truly hope someone reads this reviews and feels that a change will be in order for better professionalism overall from your company.

Tech was very professional and thorough. He actually went above and beyond my expectations. I was able to get someone out within an hour of when my call was received. The problem was resolved completely.

Phil came by to do a tune up, and did a great job. Very thorough and took the time to answer my questions with knowledgeable answers. Made recommendations about how to keep my ac system healthy. This visit built a higher level of trust that already had a firm foundation. Great folks to deal with.

They put in a new hvac system with all the bells and whistles. My old unit went out, Tyler came out and showed us the problems with the 12 year old unit. We chose to have them put in a new unit which they did the next day. They cleaned the duct work and put in a uv unit. The new unit has one filter on the unit itself that only needs to be replaced once a year and the filter can be bought thru Amazon in a pack of three which would last for 3 years. I must mention that Riley H came out the day our unit went out and stayed until 10 pm explaining in detail how everything would work if we went through comfort experts. We were looking for something with a long warranty and 24/7 coverage, since I am 80 years old. Riley was fantastic, very professional, and their company is highly rated. Jose and his installation crew were also very efficient, professional, and caring, takin the time to explain the movie Jose made of the finished unit in the attic, since he knew I wouldn't want to climb up there. Even though the cost was higher than we had anticipated, the results are truly worth it. I feel really good about the system and Comfort Experts and would recommend them highly.Three months later: the breaker for the AC unit went bad, and I gave CE a call. Tyler was back the same day and made the repair quickly and efficiently. Sam was with him, and we really liked them both. So glad we went with CE to begin with!!

Customer service are great. But very ExpensiveBecause I just found out replace the item that day technician replace only $75.But comfort Experts charge me $287.Almost 4x of the price. But is so kFirst time I didn’t know. Is good thing Comfort Experts have special tune up for $29.00 that is unbeatable prices. I have three units AC.I m still thank you comfort Experts give me the special offer.

I had a pleasant experience with my repairman and he fixed my heat pretty quickly. He knew right away what my problem was and fixed it in about 30-45 minutes. Also it was funny that his brother used to live 2 houses away from me, so we had an instant connection anyway. Good experience and a good company!! Thanks ?

We have had Comfort Experts for many years service our units as well as install new ones in our home. All the employees have always been professional and communicative, not pushy when it comes to offering other services or extras. We feel confident that they will provide an excellent service.

The tech was professional and respectful. I knew my system was not just old but ancient.The tech was very tactful in telling me I needed to replace it. He never pressured me to use his company. After 20 years why would I change. He let me make the decision. In all these years I have never had an issue with this. company.

Purchased a replacement AC last year when ours went out. They had a new one installed in less than 3 days. Their yearly follow up visit was prompt and very affordable. I asked if they could tune up the other two units and install new thermostats that we had from another property. They got everything finished and the tech communicated throughout the whoel visit of what he was doing and how everything looked. He did not try to upsell, but offered very good recommendations.

The salesman was very helpful and thorough when looking at our home to find the best product. The installation team was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. They also gave us an informative orientation on the system our Nest thermostat. The financing program was also very easy to do! We are overall satisfied with the service and unit we received.

We were heading out the door to do errands that we had postponed.Chris was very apologetic. He explained what he would be doing and began straight away. He was courteous and wearing booties when he came into the house. 45 minutes later he reviewed his findings and offered his business card with contact info just in case we had questions. Our heat in the master suite quit working about 4 days ago and only the A/C would come on. I called Comfort Experts yesterday morning, and they sent Dennis out to fix the problem. Great customer service from Lisa and Dalton. I called at 8:20pm and they were able to have someone at my house by 9:00pm. Dalton was thorough and provided answers to all my questions. We have a very old A/C unit and Dalton quickly fixed the issue and did not over-diagnose. I plan to have Comfort Experts come back out for an estimate on a new unit. They have just established a long time customer because of their great customer service.

The service was great and the person was professional and polite. He found numerous issues with the initial installs on which is very unsettling. Unfortunately the issue is still occurring. We have called again today to have someone else look into why. I am not comfortable with my choice of iseing Hobson currently.On his second visit he was very professional and took the Time to explain everything to my wife. He also notified as he will be calling out the installation manager to inspect the installation of the unit.

They will call you and tell you that they will come clean and inspect your system for $39. However, when they get there, they tell you, well if you want us to clean the inside coils it will be another $256. We told them our a/c was under warranty still for parts and labor, only 2 years old and the tech still tried to upsell us on parts that were way too expensive and were working fine. I would definitely call another vendor besides this company unless you just want to be lied to about a $39 cleaning/inspect service and pay out the wazoo for overpriced parts that are way cheaper at other a/c service companies. You can get better service and for a better price. Shop around!

I have been a long time customer of CE. They installed my AC years ago and did a great job. I had the semi annual tune up done recently. The tech found some issues and I wanted to talk to someone about them, but they said it would be 24-48 hours. Well, it's been three days and I called back. Now they say, he should call me Monday! They have lost touch with the customer.

I was a little worried about possible upcharges because they were running a discount service special, but Mark was fantastic! (In fact, everyone I dealt with was). Honest, no high pressure sales, no gimmicks. He explained things well and told me what to watch out for in the future. We will use them if we need service in the future!

Our tech Simon was on time very professional and made sure we 7nderstood what was wrong. We have another tech that comes out also that's just as good there prices are good as well.

Riley Hobson came out on time, did the evaluation and provided me quotes for several options on the expected replacement. He was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He recommended another capacitor for the upstairs unit since it was old. We do not ever use the unit so had great recommendations on if we ever did. Plus spent time explaining how to convert my filtration to air filters since it does not seem to work. Recommended air duct cleaning as well. One of their services plus said did plumbing solar panels etc. from scheduling to follow up before appointment and the text Lee was on the way ! A Plus service ! We used Comfort Experts for many years (over 10) and found their service friendly and comprehensive. After receiving their quote recently to replace our upstairs air conditioner, we decided to shop around and found the quote from them quite high compared to other quotes received. We did replace our upstairs system with a higher quality make and model for a savings. We are not unhappy just disappointed in the quote.

We had our three heating units inspected. The technician was friendly and professional. He stayed late to make sure the job was complete. He did try to sell the maintenance plan, but when we declined, he didn't get upset or treat us differently. We'll definitely use them again!

We had a new UV system installed that is helping with pet dander, dust, allergens and it is working great. We highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. Simon was at our house in about an hour on a Sunday evening. He was professional, fixed the problem in one visit, and gave us several options for repair.
Comfort Experts installed both of our a/c units and I've never waited more than 2 hours for someone to be at our house. They are on time every time when it's a scheduled visit.

Fell for the $5 system check up special. The guys were very polite and did a great inspection. Not sure what they actually inspected as its not listed on the receipt. They let me know about a couple of upcoming issues. Bad part is the quote for the repairs. $300 to replace a weak start capacitor in one of my units at $300. My units are under manufacturer warranty for another 8 years, but I guess this company doe not do warranty work. Part is roughly $25 so you do the math. Drain line flush = pouring water in it. Not unclogging it. Wanted another $300 for that service and to add a T to my current drain line.Good news is they offer a rewards program where you make mthly payments to them and you get a discount off the rather high rates.

Our technician was thorough and very professional. When he finished, he came in and discussed all his findings with us, making sure we understood exactly what needed to be done. I was very impressed with him.

Marshall was excellent giving us options for repair or replacement. Comfort Experts is the best HVAC supplier and servicer we have found in the DFW area.

Very professional, knowledgeable and took pride in his work, He identified and explained the issue very clearly, corrected the problem checked then re-checked to make sure everything worked properly and said I could request him personally in the future if I had any issues. I have 6 geothermal HV/AC units and have not been satisfied in the past but Dennis was awesome as stated earlier!!

The technician they sent, Connor, lacked knowledge and was inexperienced and it showed. He is quick to want to leave without actually fixing anything and carries a dismissive attitude with him. He also does not see the value in checking you work. When I asked him to verify that my unit was now working properly her got an attitude and refused. So he left without validating anything and now I must wonder whether things are working properly or not. I'm sure I will find out there's a problem at an inopportune time, when it's too late. Thanks for nothing.

Install Nest ThermostatThis company did a great job in multiple areas of customer service. Before the technician arrived they texted me a picture so I knew who was coming to my house. The technician that was sent was great. He was personable and committed to getting my thermostat working. He was also careful about my carpet and walls. I thought I had a problem with the NEst after they left. I called their number at 8pm and they responded the same night and said they would send someone out. However, I had already call Nest support and they had resolved my issue. Great company and great people on site and in the office! and they charged a flat fee to install the NEST

I had comfort experts come out for a heating tune up, after the technician finished with his service he came to us with opinions to help maintain our system, enhance our system and replace our system. Our system is older and the only real opinion was to replace. Ever since we got our new system, we can tell the difference in areas of our house that our old wouldn't heat up or cool. We are extremely pleased with comfort experts and their stuff. We will be recommending them to our family and friends.

We had the pleasure of working with Nikki, Jovanny, Chris, Jeremiah and Thomas when we had to have our air conditioners serviced and one replaced. We called and got Nikki because our air wasn’t working and she was very pleasant and scheduled the service. Jovanny came out first to service the units. He did a great job, made a recommendation to replace the one that wasn’t working and then called to request a rep come out to give us a quote that night. Chris came out and did a great job recommending what we should do and scheduling the replacement as soon as possible. Jeremiah and Thomas arrived next and worked very hard on a Saturday to make sure we were taken care of and knew how to work the new equipment. All of the reps were extremely professional, pleasant and hard working and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the work. We will continue to use them for all of our servicing.

Decent experience with the company, bad experience with the tech they sent out. Poor attitude and customer service skills. Also incorrectly diagnosed the source of a leak in my system as I had another company come out for a second diagnosis and subsequent repairs. I called the contact at the office to let them know about the disappointing experience and was told the tech would be talked to by a manager. No follow up from the company so I don't know if my input helped. Had I recieved some sort of follow up, I would have probably given Comfort Experts another shot as this was my first bad experience.

Dennis and his apprentice Kevin were so polite to me and considerate of my house. They made sure to not leave a mess. They got right to the problem and were able to fix it quickly. Had to open a service call, even though I knew it would be a bad time. Sure enough, their queues were full, however they said they would get to me as soon as they could. Lisa kept me up to date all day, and good to their word, Johnny was able to show up late into the day. He diagnosed the problem quickly, bad control board which needed ordering, then was able to rewire around the problem to get the unit to cool while waiting for the new board to arrive. Great service!

Called on a Sunday evening and they were here in about 3 hours. Ryan was very nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He shared pictures and videos of the problem areas and explained.I asked the lady twice if there was an extra charge for a Sunday night visit and if there was we could wait until the next morning/day. She said no but apparently this was incorrect. Ryan made this right.

The past seven years this company has always sent to our home good responsible people to service our HVAC system that we purchased from them. A couple times when our system had a problem they work on it until they resolved the issue. There service is timely, and they always followup by phone that all is taken care of. Also, the electric bill is lower since the unit isn't running constantly.I was also interested in adding a Mini-Split to my master bedroom. It's on the SW corner of my house and is the farthest run from the Central A/C. Riley H. came out and worked with me to determine the best option. Comfort Experts had the best prices and warranty around. It was installed a week after he came out and I have been very satisfied with it. The central unit doesn't run much overnight just to keep 1 room cool.Jeremiah P. was the installer for both the Mini-split and the solar panels. So, before our salesman, Cody Johnson, showed up at our house I decided to look through the reviews of Comfort Experts (CE), because we had never used them before, on both Google and Yelp, I read through at least 20-30 reviews (good, bad, and in between), after having the company in my house 3 different times in 4 days I have nothing but good things to say about them.Initially we called CE for a service call because i.e unit was freezing up, we knew that our unit was over 20 years old and that we may be told that a new unit was in our best interest. When Dennis checked our system he found several freon leaks and told us that he would gladly fix our system, but it was going to be $1-3k and really just a bandaid and said that he would advise having a new unit installed.The next (Thursday) day Cody came out and did an amazing job of explaining the entire process and answering all of the questions as he surveyed our house to figure the unit best for us. He did not try to push anything on us or try to get us to buy the most expensive packages. He was able to schedule our install for Saturday, which is good since I'm a teacher with a 2nd job.Saturday morning our install technicians showed bright and early, they were efficient, neat, and friendly. They had no problem with answering my questions as they worked or showing me what they were doing.So I can say, without reservation, that I will be using CE again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new system installed in their house!

They come out SOOOOO fast and don't charge a premium fee. Their work is top notch but a little on the pricey side. $250 for a simple capacitor change was a bit high.....BUT, it was 100 degrees outside in TX summer and was well worth having my AC back on the next morning!

This company Wanted to charge me over 300 dollars for a uv bulb that is on Amazon for 42 dollars. I bought a new unit from them 2 years ago and bought their service plan. I was lied to from the sales person claiming everything would be covered 100 percent. They kept the rebates that the offered. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Called for problem with our a/c unit. Was given a appointment right away. Service man came out when he was suppose to and did a very good inspection and discovered the problem. We have a home owner's insurance program and he stated that it would be best served by contacting them and it was. Comfort experts did a good job and recommend them .

I was very displease. My husband and I wanted to have someone come out look at our AC to maintenance it and see if we needed any repairs before summer hit. They notice we needed a new over flow pan. We got sold on the maintenance plan to get a discount on our repairs; and they shared what all they do to maintain my AC. We signed up and waited for a part to come in. Three week later, I called to check on the part. -- The response was... oh yes, it is in. When would you like for us to come out? Glad I called.... They come out do the repairs, but no maintenance was done. I called the office and they explained to me that the maintenance would be provided once we have paid for a full year of service. ??? That to me is counter productive. A year of no maintenance only increases the possibility of needing repairs. I talked to a representative, she promised someone would call me back, but I never received that call. How stupid am I.. I paid for a discount and possible more repairs because I did not maintenance my unit in two years.

We have used Comfort Experts for years, but this last experience has pushed them up over the top of any other company. Janet and Preston provided such fabulous customer service. Not only that, but Preston was able to program our thermostat the way we wanted it, after we were told it wasn't possible. He's our hero. We were in a bind with our rental property. I needed to get the AC fixed ASP for the renters. They worked to first find parts but when none was available called me back. They gave me high priority to then install a new unit. Bumped me up to where I can get installed the next day due to being on the Silver Plan. The technician arrived on time, He did all of the promised services and explained everything I asked him about. He suggested a whole house surge protector and explained why the electronics in the A/C, refrigerator. oven, dishwasher etc. should be protected. I subsequently installed one at the breaker box. He was knowledgeable and friendly as well.

My AC went out and I called Milestone to come assess the problem. I was told that I basically needed a new unit ($11,000+), but that if I wanted to do minimal repairs, we were looking at $6,000. Since that was significant, we decided to get a second opinion. Comfort Experts gave a free second opinion, so I went with them. The technician looked at the problem and determined that we needed a new fan, which was broken and seemed to be the root of the problem. He went to get the fan, and returned within an hour to fix the problem for less than $800 (we also needed freon). I am SO glad we went for a second opinion, as the first technician was either unaware of the real problem, or was trying to rip us off! I will definitely be calling Comfort Experts again for any AC needs :)

Comfort Experts came and did the annual inspection on my AC systems. The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He did not try to sell me anything which was a relief. Will definitely use them again next year.

Our heater fan was not working on Sunday 11/22 when we called for service about 9 AM Randy finally reached us at 6 PM and had the problem solved and fixed in less than 45 minutes. We were updated around 5 that he should arrive in about an hour and he did. He was neat, clean, courteous and efficient.

The entire operation from initiation with Lisa M. who called to schedule the routine maintenance service to the completion of the service by Jeremy H. was professional, courteous and efficient. Lisa called to tell us when Jeremy was on his way to our home. Jeremy arrived at the designated time and proceeded to complete the task quickly making sure that the interior of the home was not soiled by the mess the rain was making. As a pleasant surprise, he did not try to sell me anything extra as has frequently happened to me with other home repair personnel. He arrived did his inspection, made adjustments to the system and replaced the air filter in the attic. Jeremy was courteous, clean and efficient. I appreciated his and Lisa's help on this routine maintenance visit.

After last years ice storm I figured I'd better get my heater looked at so I didn't run into any issues. Comfort Experts sent out Jeremy to do a heater check for me. He allowed me to follow him around, and didn't seem bothered by my question las. He went through everything and came back and gave the system a clean bil of health. He did recommend adding more insulation, and considering we haven't ever added any in 15 years it made sense. Overall good experience and he seemed to really know his stuff.

They repeatedly called about coming out to do a Tune-up which I understood to be maintenance on my AC units. They gave me a special of $49 for the first unit and $39 for the second unit. However, when they got out here, the guy basically was a sales person and not a technician. He actually told my wife that if he actually did anything on the units that it would be an extra charge. They charged us almost $100 for a sales pitch and did absolutely nothing on the AC units. BEWARE!!!!

Dalton came out to the house to do an inspection on the heating and AC unit. He was courteous and professional his entire visit. He let me know what was possibly going to go out on the AC Unit and it confirmed some of my suspicions. He also went over some service details such as cost with and without a membership on their monthly plans. I am very happy with this Company and their technicians and will probably sign up for the monthly plan to help save time and money.

Not pleased with this company at all. Have an air handler that is freezing up the last two nights. Had this company come to diagnosis the issue today for $49. Their service technician came out and advised me he could find nothing wrong but if he had to guess it might be the variable speed motor module and wanted $812 in labor to replace it. He advised he didn't know it would fix the issue since he wasn't able to determine if that was the problem but it was his best guess. This is not a good business practice. Very shocked to experience this after all of the good reviews I read on them.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. He listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions. I have been a customer of Comfort Experts for over 10 years with no regrets.

The tech identified several issues and, while it took longer than expected to get all the parts, as they came in, the tech would come out and install them. Thy were even able to get a new unit from the manufacturer. I was very happy with their efforts.

We have used Comfort experts for about 10 years. They replaced our old heat pump with a new one this summer. The installation process was very quick and seemed very efficient. However, problems arose in the coming months due to mistakes made during the installation. To their credit, Comfort Experts did an excellent job correcting the mistakes, but it took 6 visits over the course of several weeks to get it all done. During this time I was quite frustrated, but it turned out to have been a problem caused by a technician doing a shoddy job while running the electrical cable (caused a nick, which caused intermittent shorting). This was very difficult for them to find, because it would work for a while, then fail. But they never gave up. Moral to the story... higher level service technicians and designers are good. But some of the installers (who are usually the younger, newer workers), probably could use some additional training. For that reason, I deduct a star.The second star I deduct because we paid $16,000 for a new heat pump and ductwork for 1980sqft house. We wanted a very efficient system - and were promised a 10-20% reduction in electric bills. After 8 months we have not noticed any improvement in efficiency. I have compared electrical usage month to month from this year vs. last year - no difference. In their defense, we had an excellent system before... But nonetheless l am not sure the additional expense was justified. I am currently happy with the system, but I think I probably paid way too much for it (Coleman heat pump). I wish I had shopped around, but when it is 105 outside and 90 in the house, you don't always feel like you have the luxury to shop around. I think if I had, I would have discovered I could get the same system for much less. Lesson learned... don't be hasty.However, the bottom line is that Comfort Experts employees are very nice and easy to deal with for service and maintenance. They are prompt, courteous and efficient.

Repairmen spent six hours at my home, diagnosing and fixing a problem with my HVAC system. They were thorough, professional, and polite, working late into the night until the had checked wiring, motors, blower, etc.

I have had a contract with this company since 2005, which I had to terminate when I relocated to a new home. When their associate came to my house he was GREAT. He was honest with me and corrected the problem immediately.

They don’t seem to want business. I called and said “I have a model number and need a quote on a new evaporator coil.” Nikki said “oh we don’t sell parts, sorry.” No questions or clarifications, just bye! So I said “no, wait, I need one installed. Not just the part. It’s been diagnosed by 2 diff ac companies, just looking for the best price.” Nikki: “if you didn’t buy the part from us we won’t install it, sorry, bye!” So I said “NO. I NEED THE PART FROM YOU INSTALLED BY YOU.” (I’m thinking jeez, is this her first day on the job or what). And she tells me they can’t give me a quote over the phone without a technician coming to inspect. WELL YOU’RE THE THIRD PLACE I’VE CALLED THIS MORNING AND THE FIRST TO REFUSE A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE. We literally have had the warranty HVAC guy out AND a local HVAC company (who are great but seem pricey). I’m just looking for a price range. It’s not a commitment to fix it for me FFS. I’m giving you the model number, you should be able to give a price range. She said “nope!” Gleefully. So I said “well then you’ve lost my business, bye.” Wth? Never encountered someone sooooo eager to get me off the phone after everything I said, and ultimately proved to be uninterested in gaining a customer. It sounds like they wait until they come see if you look like you have money and then decide how much they want to charge you. We have 3 separate units for our home, which is potentially a lot of business in one place. But okay, bye.

The tech was great. When he explained what was wrong and what we needed to do. He walked me thru showing me the issues. This was for my moms house. After this experience I will use company for my needs at my house.

Saw an installation at a friend's house in Weatherford that was done by Comfort Experts. Holes in bottom of A-Frame cabinet, can see ground underneath around refrigerant lines. Installer advised her it is *her* problem? Evap coil icing up likely due to outside air being drawn in. Cabinet installed crooked, difficult to get front panels to close correctly. I would LOVE to see air pressure measurements made of this install. Parker County doesn't require inspections, unfortunately. I am no fan of government poking nose into your personal life, but seeing this made me reconsider for minute..

I hate to leave a review like this because the technician was a nice guy but anytime companies are paying a tech commission on services rendered I don't think they are looking out for your best interest even if they should be. I knew I needed a new relay board(31.00 on amazon) but was having another issue as well so figured I'd call a tech out. BTW he wanted 723.00 for the same board. I scheduled a tune up and a service and I don't believe the tune up was actually performed. He did pull one wire off the relay board to temporarily fix it and then said if I wanted to keep it working it would be 250.00 (literally to remove the one wire) or I had the option to get a whole new system in which he would (unfix) it and leave the system off until I got an all hvac through them the next day(over 8k dollars) so he basically said I removed the wire it works but if you aren't buying a new system with me then I'm not including it in what you already paid us for today you need to pay an additional 250.00 or I'll put it back to not working.Read the other negative reviews I tend to believe them more than the positives. I have several rentals and use several different contractors and I definitely get the feeling that this is one of the crooks out there. Please do yourself a favor and at the very least get a second opinion or estimate or it will cost you.

Of course when he shows up it starts working fine. But he showed me problem areas that need attention. Took his time and answered all my questions. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the other products that are offered. Thank You for your Service.

The guys got there on time and went to work right away. They explained what they were doing and asked if I had any questions. They were very work oriented and cleaned up as they went along. !!Beware!! DO NOT USE COMFORT NOT EXPERTS!!! I called them at 10am and they said they would get someone out today. The service tech arrived at 7:30pm. My heater blower motor was not working properly. The tech performed what he said was a series of trouble shooting steps. He replaced the capacitor, a thermal heat switch, disconnected several wires, called his boss a half dozen times, scratched his head, acted thoroughly confused, and then said he Thought I needed a new motherboard and new blower motor. He gave me a quote of $4,700.00 dollars. He then wanted to schedule a appointment for me to speak with a representative about a whole new heating and ac unit. Know here's the good part, when he put the door back on my heater that depresses the power switch my heater blower motor was working! He then proceeded to remove the new capacitor and heat switch that he installed. He said he was sorry for the poor service and still said I needed a new unit. This was at 11:30pm. My unit was installed new 9yrs ago it's a Trane XR80. I asked him how long had he been doing this, he said just about a year!The next day I called Ameriair out of Burleson Tx. And spoke with Robert who is also the owner. I told him what had happened. He said oh yes I am quite familiar with Comfort 'Not Experts. And not in a good way! He told me that he had over 40 years experience and would be happy to take a look at it. He came out, performed some test, reconnected all the wires the other guy had left disconnected, replaced my blower motor with a new one. It all took about an hour. He charged me $538. And my heat and air is working flawlessly.!!Stay Away From Comfort Not Experts

Technician arrived at the appointed time. Very professional experience. Our system was serviced as required. We were kept informed about what was going on and felt comfortable with the Technician all through the process.

We called comfort experts to check our thermostat because the temperature was set at one thing and the read out was something different. The port on the furnace was cloged. Our technician cleared it up and also changed our filter and vacuumed up afterwards. He took down some hanging baskets for me. He was most helpful and courteous.I have a new review now. The technician was very halpful. He changed our filter and batteries in the thermostat. We needed a new part which he installed and now we don't hear the vibrating sound anymore. I'm pleased with the service and signed a new service contract.

I knew what was wrong with my AC, it was the fan on the condenser. It was Saturday and I couldn’t find it within driving distance. I called them since they’re the ones that installed the units. The fan costs 180, they wanted 500 for it. Then they sent a guy to quote me on new equipment since mine is old, never got the quote. I contacted them a couple of days later, asking the status of the quote and they never got back to me. Highly unprofessional and irresponsible.

Representatives and tech extremely friendly. Tech didnt seem well trained and ended up telling me that i had issues that i didnt really have..when i told him what i had been told was the problem..clogged line..he dismissed it and said it wasnt..turns out..it was and someone else cleared it and totally fixed my problem..cost me more money than necessary if he had just checked and cleared my line/pipe..but thank goodness i got a 2nd opinion

Lisa was the best! She came in early to retrieve Saturday am calls, knowing they were probable emergencies. Our AC went out sometime Friday and they were dispatched by 8 am!!! Fabulous!And Johnnie was here bright and early, diagnosing a short in the wiring and advising a replacement of a vital part before it became problematic in the heat of summer. Hobson AC/Comfort Experts have always 'gone the extra mile' for us as customers and are literally Johnnie on the Spot! when you need them!

DON'T GO HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND MONEY THAT IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE SPENT.They write up issues that do not exist and put it in the report. I shouldn't have paid them. The inspection had been completed and i wanted the to take care of the issues there. They didn't do anything other than blowing nitrogen thru the drain and charged me a lot. Additionally, even if you get the work done they don't deduct the initial charges.They are scam artists.In essence aviod them if you want to save money and avoid head aches.

Excellence service. They scheduled a four hour window and called 30 minutes before arriving.
They performed routine maintenance and repairs, and even added more insulation to the attic, all within the same day. The service pro was EXTREMELY knowledgeable.

I will never use this company. Comfort Experts hired by buyer of house to check HVAC. Within two day prior to the arrrival of the Comfort Expert tech, the home inspector hired by the buyer found the upstairs air conditioning unit was old but fully functioning...upstairs air conditioner was cooling fine. Comfort Expert tech said the air conditioning unit was out of freon and offered to put some in. I declined and called the company with which I had a service contract for 15 years. That tech came out and said in all of his 25 year he had never seen a connection (I forget what he called it) loosen itself. He tighten it and put in nine pounds of freon. Two weeks later and the upstairs air conditioner is still fully functioning. Comfort Experts pays their techs commission on products and services they sell. The company I have used for years does not. Go figure who has the most motive to find or create things that are a problem.

False and scare tactic advertising at it's best. Just received an advertisement from this company trying to scare me in to buying a new unit because my unit contains R-22 which wont be produced any longer. (after Jan 1, 2020) They quote - The price is already incredibly high and this means it will be even higher and eventually not even be available In actuality R-22 is almost at an all time low, the price is cheap as most new systems don't contain R-22, and there is stockpiles to last longer that your R-22 unit will. Why would I do business with a company that starts out on a lie. The A/C industry has a bad rep and you wonder why.

It is always a pleasure when speaking with Lisa M. She has always been courteous and polite when I have spoken with her.Dustin has always displayed a high level of professionalism. He listens to the customers concerns and gets the job done expediently.

This is a great company from top to bottom. When we turned our air conditioner on for the first time this year, we had a HORRIBLE smell coming out of it. Thinking that something was wrong or that something had crawled into the duct system, we called Comfort Experts. The diagnosis was Dirty Sock Syndrome! LOL... Sure enough, after running the system for a while longer the smell went away. They gave us some great advice on how to keep the temperature on both levels of our loft-style town house manageable in hot weather.

They were friendly and courteous from the begining. Johnny arrived on time and throughly checked my unit inside and out. Explained everything where I could understand...outlined pros and cons of my unit. He was very knowledgeable about hvac, his compsny, their products and service available . He answered every question and priced all the recommendations following his inspection and the warranty. I find him to be honest and reliable. I plan on using them for replacing my hvac when it goes out.

I needed a repair to my shower.
Mark went to the extra effort to go buy a special tool so he could finish the repair that day on a Friday instead of coming back after the weekend. Thanks, I didn't have to do without my shower another day.

I called and set up an appointment for someone to come service my ac as it stopped working and it gets too hot in my house for my baby. I told them 7:30pm would work for me and Lisa said okay. She called me back about an hour later telling me nobody can come to my house after 6pm because of the area I'm in. She said for their techs safety. I live in a predominantly black neighborhood so I was upset that no one wanted to come check my ac unit out. I felt very discriminated against just because of where I live. I live 5mins away from the TCU area(rich people for those who don't know). My house isn't even on the bad side of the area. I've been judged by the color of my skin all my life so I should be used to this by now...EDIT: I was able to find another 24hr a/c company and I ended up telling them what happened and they were absolutely appalled and disgusted that a company would treat their customers in such a way. This company said they never have and never will discriminate against a home owner because of where they live. They were able to come out, at 7pm, and diagnose my a/c unit. I am now in the process of purchasing a new system through them. They were a wonderful company who treated me with respect! I would recommend Calverley Service Experts to anyone who needs a HVAC contractor!!!

Comfort Experts/Hobson Heating & Air is always quick to respond to a call. The dispatcher kept us readily informed as to arrival time of the technician. Our technician had some difficulty problem-solving our issue, which resulted in an extra visit. Nevertheless, Hobson was quick to respond and keep us up-to-date, with frequent communication from the technician's supervisor. All service parts were fully covered without any additional paperwork on our part.

Customer service was awesome I received a text letting me know what time the technician would be arriving along with his name and badge with credentials he was very professional and very knowledgeable ant company will be replacing my ductwork in a few weeks

Coupon was a come-on. Offered a $69 System Rejuvenation. Turns out, it was a $69 get a technician in the door (my tech's exact words). It was a system check up. There is an obvious difference in the two. Your coupon is misleading.

The technician appeared to be in a bad mood, spent about two minutes looking at the unit in the attic, told me I needed a new unit and left. Perhaps he was a bit grumpy and pressed for time because of the dramatically increased work caused by all the flyers distributed for free service, and the last minute and probably constant re-direction of the poor guys in the field for immediate same-day service his dispatchers were trying to do.

Scott B is such a professional! He's down to earth and knows his stuff. We hate when our AC or heater acts up but always happy to see Scotty at the door. The ladies at the office are always nice and willing to help. We had our AC fan motor burn out today and I've got an 8 month pregnant wife. There is no comfort experts Inc at this location. I put it into my Google maps for a job interview. I traveled from out of state and ended up missing my interview. A maintenance person was here within an hour of calling and the repair was done within 10 minutes! Good AC repair will never be cheap but the price was comparable to other places.

Had normal annual service and had a separate issue. A supervisor was required. The technician rescheduled a visit, accompanied by a supervisor. They worked on the issue and believe they have resolved the issue.

on november 10 this company just came over to my house to clean my heater but 4 days later my unit stop working and when i called to see what happen they told me they can take a look but it will cost me 69.99 dlls for the service call if they find something else wrong with my unit it will cost me more so i refuse to play their game and will hire someone else to fix it and the star i rate it is because they don't have a minus one and the system don't allow you to go with a blank rate so be careful of this company today is 11/15/18 and i got my unit fixed and find out that they clogged the pressure line that was the reason my unit stop working an easy way to make some money
