I was having a power outage issue in one room of our house that I just could not figure out. It ended up being a problem with a connected outlet in a different room. We never would have figured it out on our own! They discovered the issues and made the repairs quickly. Before anyone arrived at the house I received a phone call for clarifying questions, and was notified of the estimated charges upfront. This transparency was really nice and it was completely accurate! I’m not familiar with electrical work, so I don’t know how to rate the pricing, but I would say that it was worth the cost just for the professionalism and peace of mind they left me with. Michael and his guys were great and reminded me that their work is guaranteed so they can come back if I continue to see issues. I will be happy to use them in the future.

I needed help solving what I had been told, by a local merchant, was an easy fix of an ice maker water supply valve. I've been a Berkeys customer for many years and called them. They scheduled a technician for me during the time I needed.
Andy showed up and broke the news that the repair was more involved, explained what was required and why, and, more importantly, an option that was easier, much more time efficient, and cheaper. He was very professional, friendly and courteous from the moment he showed up. And he approached the problem from what was best for the customer, not what was the biggest money maker for Berkeys.
I recently had a disappointing HVAC experience with Berkeys and was reluctant to call. Andy really came through and, without knowing it, really patched up our doubts regarding Berkeys service. Many thanks to Andy and the plumbing department for honesty and putting the customer first.

Our water heater was leaking water. I went to the Home Advisor app to find a company to do the job. The 3rd quite I received was from Wilson Home Services.

I spoke on the phone with Mr. Wilson. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. His quote was better than the others we'd received and he seemed like a good guy so we chose his service. Understanding that it might be a day before he had the parts we needed, we agreed to see one of his techs for an assessment later that day.

His tech, Chad, arrived that afternoon. Chad presented himself well (as a professional should) and quickly assessed what needed to be done. Fortunately for us, he had the right sized water heater in his van and was able to remove and replace our bad one in just under two hours.

I was fortunate to be able talk with the young man as he was getting set up. His own knowledge and experience of were impressive, but it was his respect for his employer that made my day. Chad, without sounding like a suck-up, spoke highly of, and with great honor for Mr. Wilson- his knowledge, experience, and certification levels.

Within a couple of hours, Chad had come and gone and once again our home had hot running water.

After meeting Chad, I realized that Mr. Wilson was not only a good guy, but that he hires people of good quality and character for his business. That's good to know for all of us who may one day need his services.

Purchased a replacement AC last year when ours went out. They had a new one installed in less than 3 days. Their yearly follow up visit was prompt and very affordable. I asked if they could tune up the other two units and install new thermostats that we had from another property. They got everything finished and the tech communicated throughout the whoel visit of what he was doing and how everything looked. He did not try to upsell, but offered very good recommendations.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
