Mr. Electric of Fort Worth Electrician
I'm hoping, for this company , that I just got one of their less professional techs. I needed an attic vent fan motor replaced. Early morning Wed., the tech arrived, took out the old motor, went to install the new motor...wrong motor. He returned with the correct motor and installed it. $688.85!I came home from work, the surface temp in the attic was 114 -116 degrees. Fan NOT working. I called the office to get the tech back out Thur morning. Thur morning I called the tech, personally, to discuss the surface temp vs the air temp and decided to wait to see if the fan would come on at a hotter temp. Cancelled the revisit. Friday, I placed a couple of thermometers in the attic...120 degrees...no working fan all circuit breakers checked. Called the office to set up a service call for the following Tue. Late Friday, went into the attic to get a closer look at the fan. OMG what a butcher job! The fan blades were bent and one motor mount was repositioned to the point of it breaking the weld point and in it's new position, a SCREW had to be rigged to use to secure the mount to the back of the motor. IF it came on, it did not look capable of drawing but a little air, if ANY at all and the motor a fan may have shook so bad it may have fallen into the attic. I emailed the office with an in-depth writing of my discovery and sent photos. They offered to send the tech out again, NO THANKS, not the same one. I figured that even a different tech came out, they would find a way to charge me even more to fix the screw-ups. All ready in the hole $688.85I decided to cut bait, cut my losses and use the whole situation as a lesson learned. I told the company to not send any more techs out. I ordered the same new complete powered attic vent fan from Home Depot for $175.00. A roofing company will install it for $200.00 when it comes in. $375.00 for a new INSTALLED working system. $688.85 for a non-working and damaged fan. BTW, absolutely no contact from MR. Electric. Enjoy the $688.85. Have a pizza party on me.

Arc Angel Electrical Solutions Electrician
Honestly went above and beyond my expectations. They were super responsive, even answering a text i sent at 9pm. They made sure to remind me about the administartive tasks I needed to do as homeowner, which was super useful to me. They were very quick and unobtrusive. I paid my invoice in advance using the estimate, and they issued a refund when the actual cost ended up being lower than the estimate. Its a small thing, but it emphasizes their work ethic and honesty. When they came out for the estimate they made sure to explain what was necessary and the different options I had to go about it. My go-to electricians.

Arrow Electric Service Electrician
I’d rather not have to post this review but here goes. I have reached out to Henry through email and text with no response. I’m a widow on a fixed income. My breaker panel tripped in the early morning hours last week. I don’t know any electricians so I googled several and came across Arrow Electric and they had GREAT reviews and that’s why I went with them. I asked him upfront how much the service call would be and he blew me out of the water when he told me $185 but what do I know? He showed up and after checking the wires on the breaker box he “thought” it MIGHT be my a/c unit outside. I feel like I did a lot of the leg work, on the phone with him when he went outside and had me flipping breakers and turning on/off a/c units or ME being outside on the phone with him so he could try and figure out which unit he THOUGHT was throwing the breaker. He suggested I call Oncor and have them come out (which I did. Everything was fine) He never checked the electrical wires on my a/c so I called another electrician and within 30 minutes he solved the problem. It was the DISCONNECT HIGH VOLTAGE TRIP.. It was a simple/obvious electrical problem if he had just done his job. He was at a loss as to why my breaker box was tripping on that one unit. I’m out $185 for service not rendered. The invoice I received listed $85 service call and $100 for testing main voltage panel, identifying a/c units, labeled a/c unit on panel and he said he opened meter box which he didn’t (said he couldn’t do that without contacting Oncor) It seems to me that all of that labeling and identifying would be what a service call entails. I tried contacting him through text and email asking him to return half of my money but I’ve not heard back from him. “Take the money and run”
I had to pay another electric company another $79 service call and they immediately fixed it for that service fee!!!

Saved Thanksgiving!
My very ambitious plan to replace kitchen appliances the morning before having family over for Thanksgiving dinner was going well until I ran into electrical issues. Christopher answered the phone and came to help right away. Once onsite, he immediately got to work. He was very methodical to ensure the correct electrical configuration for our specific application. He thoroughly explained the problem, his solutions, and the cost of the service. End Result: working oven and happy family for Thanksgiving. Will hire again.

Harter Electric Service Inc. Electrician
Electrical work is expensive, which is why it's important to get what you pay for. What I pay for is a responsive company that actually answers the phone or returns your call; a company that It shows up on time, is knowledgeable, exercises caution and care in my home, and meets or exceeds my expectations with the quality of work that is done. I think Harter Electric fits the bill on all these accounts. I had recessed lighting put in, and I'll use Harter on my next recessed lighting job, too. It was very refreshing to have them not only do what they said they'd do, but also do it well. Great company.
