The guys who came out to do work on my home were absolutely outstanding! One guy name was Ray and i don’t remember the other guy name. They were very very professional and very knowledgeable about their job. They made sure i understood every detail and always asked questions to make sure i was satisfied throughout their contract here. They gave me recommendations on what they thought would make my home safer as well, regarding electrical issues. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew. I really really appreciate those guys and wouldn’t hesitate asking for their services again if needed. I purchased an EV and wanted to get 60a service to my garage. This was the 2nd or 3rd company that I tried, but ultimately ended up choosing Mr Electric due to their quick response and immediate availability. Dylan came out the same day and quoted me for the job and answered all my questions. I originally told him that I wanted a 14-50 outlet, but after he left, changed my mind and wanted a 6-50 outlet. A quick email and a description of what I was wanting to do was all it took to make the adjustments. Dylan and crew came out and installed the service and with 2 hours to spare. He ended up taking the 2 hours of labor off the quote since it was a quicker job than he originally expected. Seemed upfront and honest. Pricing seemed a little high compared to others, but the quality of service and attention to detail warranted the additional cost, for me. I am very happy with the service and everything looked very neat (electricians code).

Excellent service. Cameron installed my Tesla Wall Charger and diagnosed an issue with one of our electrical outlets causing our circuit breaker to trip. He found the bad outlet in the series and replaced it. Excellent job installing the EV charger as well. Highly recommend Mr Electric.

Real review not some paid one or bot - Good communication, pleasant, professional and did as they said when they were here in 2 days. Tech was professional, excellent quality and easy to work with. Only downside was, as with most large companies/franchises, there is more overhead and that cost is passed on to you. I felt the cost was VERY high to have 2 quads installed in the garage where the breaker box is located and 2 overhead light boxes put in. If I didn't need it done immediately would have eaten the call out charge and shopped. I may be wrong, but I felt I could have got this done for around 50% of what I paid.

A tree fell on my utility pole, and broke it, so I contacted Mr Electric, and Carlos arrived the next morning to evaluate the job.However, he arrived the following morning with an 18 foot utility pole, with the fixtures and hardware already assembled, and attached.Carlos and another employee (I forgot his name) installed the utility pole by cementing it into the ground, then wired the breaker box, and wired it to an existing j box, all within a couple of hours.Although, upon completion they stayed until the city inspection was completed. Then Carlos called Oncor, to assist me with having my power restored.My experience with Mr Electric was very pleasant, and they did a professional job. The next time I need an electrician, I plan on giving them a call.

Way too expensive. The guy that came out was nice/courteous, but the work he did didn't justify the almost $500 bill. All he did was remove a wire. Then took that wire, removed the copper line and used it to put in our outlet that he was going to change out (he used the same outlet). So I basically paid almost $500 to cut a wire, and truthfully, I could've done that. When asked if I could pay less since the amount of work was minimal and reused the parts, he said no due to your tiers of billing method.No knock on the guy who came out, he was very nice. But your business model is unsustainable if you want returning customers. I want to pay for the work that was done, not have to pay based off a tier. That was a $200 job, tops. I will not be one of those returning customers unfortunately.EDIT from your response: he literally reused the same wire and outlet that was in my wall that had water damage done to it. For the price you charged me, you couldn't have used all new parts at least? THAT part I did not sign up for.

Being a Journeymen electrician with the union for 10 years I consider myself knowledgeable enough to discuss my job over view with another tradesman. I called Mr. Electric out for a bid on cabling in a new construction 28 unit RV Park. Two guys showed up completely unknowledgeable about local guidelines and zero knowledge of what they were even looking at. Obviously the job was way outside of their scope of knowledge. It was even hard on the ears listening to them talk. I had to draw the line when one of the reps couldn't even look me in the eye and started referring to me as a 3rd party while I'm standing there. I felt like I was getting dumber just standing next to them. I simply stopped them mid conversation thanked them for their time and walked away. These two are probably great for coming out to change your light bulb or flip your breaker switch.

Hot water heater went out on Thanksgiving. Called the plumber, plumber said it was an electrical issue. He suggested Mr. Electric. And I’m so glad he did. I really love how professional this company is. I talked with the general manager George Dupont who did not offer any help. He said he has evidence which I requested he send to me. Extremely poor experience. I hired Mr. Electric to diagnose and repair a GFCI outlet that would not reset. The technician began troubleshooting and claimed he discovered the issue. I approved the work ($408.45) and after it was completed, the issue was not resolved. The GFCI would not reset. The technician proceeded to continue troubleshooting and after he inspected another outlet by pulling it out of the wall and putting it back in, the circuit started to work normally. The technician claimed he did not know why it started working. This gave me very little confidence in the work. I should not be charged for a job that did not resolve my issue. Attempts to get a hold of someone at Mr. Electric has been extremely frustrating. Many phone call attempts and a month later, I still do not have resolution. Avoid this company.Note: The work that was performed (that did not resolve my issue) was quoted by two other licensed electricians for half the price. This is for a simple rewiring of a receptacle/basic pigtail. Always get other quotes before you approve any work!

I want to thank Technician Warren for the great work he did in installing my Tesla wall charger. He was professional and the care that he took to make sure I didn’t have any future problems with my electrical wiring was extraordinary. One recommendation that he gave me and I’ll pass on to future EV owners is to have an electrician install a surge protector at the breaker box if you don’t already have one. This will prevent your vehicle from getting damage by a power surge. Thank you Mr Electic again.

I hired Mr Electric to reattach my front porch light, that was dangling by a wire. I was not given a price quote ahead of time, and he came while I was at work. The electrician charged my wife $257 for about $10-$20 in parts, and a labor fee of $413/hr, to reattach a porch light. This is outrageous and unacceptable.I've called their office TWICE to get an explanation for the excessive charge, and each time I was told I'd receive a call back, which never happened.UPDATE: Mr. Electric did eventually contact me and correct the charge after I left this review. Overall, the porch light is working great and the electrician did good work. I updated my review to 3 stars. Would've been 5 stars, if the charge had been correct initially. It's also disappointing that I had to leave a negative review on a public forum to get someone to actually look at my invoice.

Our technician was professional and friendly. He listened to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. We were having trouble with builder grade materials and poor installation and he was able to identify and repair all of it. He also fixed a fan that was wired incorrectly and even changed a lightbulb that was burned out. The cost was a little high but I feel so much more comfortable and safe knowing the work was done right.

We just moved into our new house. The breakers kept tripping so we needed a repair ASAP. Called Mr. electric and they were here within a few hours to diagnose the issue. They were very professional and informative and I will definitely use them for all future electrical issues but I hope we don’t have. The technician was training and apprentice and he did an amazing job explaining why he was doing certain things and why this would be beneficial to the customer so that the apprentice would know how to handle a situation. I truly enjoyed hearing the mentorship and made me feel that I was in extremely professional hands with Mr. electric. Shoutout to Warren and Jacob for helping!!!! The best part was they sent a picture in a description of the technician prior to the arrival so we felt safe knowing who was gonna be at our door and they explained that they would be a apprentice along with the technician. It made me feel very comfortable allowing them into our house. I have never had a utility service provide that type of exceptional customer service to only make the customer feel more comfortable and safer but also provide exceptional service when they are actually in the house working. Have a fully stocked way and they were able to fix my issues within a matter of minutes before I was even done with my work call. They were quiet and sensitive to my work situation as we both work from home which was highly appreciated. Thank you overall Mr. Electric!!!

Caveat Emptor. No chance that I am paying $50 dispatch fee. No work was done. No service provided. The bid offered was ludicrously high, over $600 labor to replace two ceiling fans. I sent away your agent immediately after hearing the proposed cost.Your website describes “Free estimates”. This dispatch or estimate fee was not disclosed by the website or the telephone appointment scheduler. In addition, the appointment scheduler declined to offer an estimate for this simple and common repair.I am copying the Texas Secretary of State and filing a complaint online in hope that they will investigate this attempt at extortion. I had a lighting circuit that went out on me out of nowhere so I called around to get prices for an electrician to come out and take a look at it. I explained the problem to Mr. Electric, they asked questions and took notes on the issue and said it costs $50 for them to come look at it and then if there is any additional work/parts needed they would go over it with me at that time. The guy came out, didnt introduce himself, and took 2 minutes to take a picture of my panelboard and flip the breaker then said it would cost me $250 to perform a diagnostic. I was taken back by this because he still had no idea what the problem was. If I said yes I would be $300 in the hole BEFORE determining any cost of wire/part replacement and work to fix the problem. The booking lady called me up and didnt seem concerned with my issue with this surprise $250 fee that I felt should have been explained when I booked the appointment. Also that $250 was for a 1 hour maximum diagnostic time. She said ok you can go find someone else who is cheaper and was happy to collect my $50 just for showing up. I spoke calmly the entire time. I am not an electrician and respect the skill of their work and time but $250/hr seems outrageous to me.

First I would like to thank them for their prompt service. I was told about the $50 dispatch fee. However, I wasn't told that I was going to have to pay $199 for a troubleshooting fee. I paid $200 for the tech to diagnose that I had 2 wires touching in a fixture, which he determined in 2 mins of looking at the fixture.Cam was awesome. Me feeling like I got shafted out of an extra $200 isn't his fault. But if I knew that him coming to the house was going to cause $250 off the break, I would've did a bit more troubleshooting. I have installed fixtures before.Anyway, he install 2 fans for me and I was charged $200 to install a fixture to support a new fan. Once you are in the middle of a call, you might as well finish.I was charged $800 for my services and I feel like $400 of that was overkill but it is what it is.Cam's a good tech. The company I feel like I was overcharged.

While I was very pleased with the prompt response and the 2 breakers I needed replaced are back up and running. And the service man was very polite very clean cut . I wasn't so thrilled at how expensive changing 2 breakers out was. Not sure what other companies charge but just 2 breakers were 1/4 the charge of a full panel change. Thought that was just crazy. We have used Mr electric before on a few other fixes and this might be a typical charge for that. But honestly if I could have waited for my husband to do it we would have saved over $250. Guess it's what you pay for prompt service ?

The receptionist worked with me and kept me updated. I even received a picture of the technician before he arrived. Dylan was so nice and always on time. Very qualified and explained everything he needed to do in a way I understood. My older house required an outside panel so I had a lot of work but Dylan and his helper worked together very well and finished on time so I was not out of power more than needed. Everything looked and worked great when done. I don't know how he was able to replace the cracked power pole and wiring on my roof so quickly and beautifully. I am very, very impressed with his skill level and would request him for any future work. The company is very well organized and office contact was a pleasure to work with(which is rare since these positions are usually underpaid)so reward her well, she is the door to your organization. The first time, we had two attic fans that needed to be wired. They send Dylan out. He was amazing, sweet, and to top it off, I have dogs and he treated them like gold. To treat the owners dog, is like treating the owners children. Even after some miscommunication from our attic guy, he was still able to get it done in a timely manner... in this hell weather that TX is having. Oh, and he reminded me that we needed to get a home surge protection...Second time, we had to have a ceiling fan installed because we have abnormally high ceilings. They sent Dylan out yet AGAIN with his apprentice... same situation. He is personable, kind, was very knowledgeable of his craft. I know it was a bit difficult with the high ceilings. Not one complaint... and he was even patient with his apprentice.If we EVER have another need or fix, we are calling y'all again. And if we are lucky to have Dylan called out to our place... I cannot give a positive enough review of Mr. Electric (West Fort Worth). In response to an emergency situation that arose, Mr. Electric was incredibly responsive. They had a 2 man crew (Rick Hubble and Jayce Fleming) to my house within a few hours. They got the work finished but unfortunately Oncor would not restore power without a city inspection. Rick was straight with me about what it would take to get the city to allow Oncor to restore power quickly. It was going to be pricy but Rick did everything he could to save me money, and time. Both were accomplished and we were up and running as quickly as was possible, and all because of Rick Hubble and his apprentice, Jayce Fleming. I highly recommend Mr. Electric. I will definitely be using them again for any of my electrical needs.

Jeremiah came today to install a surge protector for the house. He also changed some coach lights on the outside of our garage. I have found Jeremiah to be the most objective and friendly service person with whom I have dealt; not just Mr. Electric but other companies as well. He deals just with issues at hand and explains answers to questions in a very understandable manner. The prices charged by this company is reasonable in comparison to today’s environment. Due to an error I created, We called Mr. Electric and they were able to send out a technician within an hour. He examined what I had done and what he would need to do. Scheduled an appointment with Mr Electric of Fort Worth and received a call they were able to show up early and had Dylan show up on time stocked with a full truck. He was able to diagnosis the issue quickly and restore my power to a few plugs that were causing the breakers to trip continuously.Dylan was very knowledgable, clearly explained the cause and how he would fix the issue, and addressed all concerns that we had. He was replaced two breakers and installed 2 new outlets along with diagnosing the problem in about an hour. This is the second time we have used Mr. Electric. David was our electrician both times.The first time he came out and made a handful of repairs on the house we just purchased. He was very knowledgeable and professional while relaying the info to us. One of the biggest things he did was refurbish/update our electric panel.The second time he came out due to another electricity companies mistake/incompetence. We wanted to use David/Mr. Electric originally, but our home warranty wouldn't allow that. He identified the problem and showed us the other companies errors.We will definitely be using them again!

I called Mr. Electric to get a quote to move a electric vehicle charger to a different, more convenient spot further up my driveway. They sent technicians (Aaron and K.B.) to my house within a couple of hours. They were honest and knowledgeable and explained that with the current high costs of wire and materials, it would be rather expensive to do the project; I had mentioned I only wanted to do it for ease of use and that it was not absolutely necessary.So although I decided not to initiate that project, I will definitely call Mr. Electric when I eventually need any electrical work done. By being upfront with me and not trying to sell me on something that wasn't worth it, they earned my trust and my future business.They were also well versed in EV infrastructure and told me about several complicated, multi-charger Tesla installations they've done. Highly recommend giving them a call if you need any kind of EV charging solution.

They quoted $240 plus fees that ran it up to $350 for a single for wire light installation which already had a functioning junction box in great shape and the switch was already installed. I considered having them add a switch but that was before I begin to see the pricing. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a price that high for that simple of an installation so just be aware. I would not advise dispatching them unless you simply aren’t worried at all about budget and just want someone who’s qualified. Be aware that the business model of this company assures that the person you set up the appointment with is not qualified to give any information but primarily to be courteous and prompt in dispatching. This is so you will not know the pricing upfront. Most electricians I deal with will give you a ballpark unless they run into something that will at least let you know whether you want to use them. Mr. electric chooses to keep that from the customer until the dispatch happens in the two electricians show up. When they show up you have already paid 39.95. I absolutely would never use this company again simply because there’s no way to even have a clue what the job would cost. I’m sure the 39.95 is not a bad estimate fee, but it just didn’t work for me to have the guys on site about five minutes and pay $40 for it when their fee was way out of my ballpark and out of what I paid in the past not even close

My breakers would trip every time I would start the heater. It took only 5-10 mins to Warren and Jonathan to detect the issues. And they fixed it in no more than 15-20 mins. My normal electrician has been swamped for over a month and we had some new lights to install, I google searched electricians and these guys had good reviews. They set an appointment for next day and arrived on time. The work was good, but the installer was really slow, he took almost twice as long to install some interior lights as the guy we used, and the cost, Wow !! Maybe 3 times what are other guy was. So to sum up, good work but way over priced. Had I not been so desperate to get my lights put in I would of kept getting bids.

He also inspected my electric panel for any issues (none found). Scheduling my appointment was easy and quick - I was able to have my appointment scheduled within a week (it was a non-emergency, they also do emergency appointments that are much quicker).Warren was fantastic! He was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. He was happy to discuss options with me and answer questions to help me decide what work I wanted performed during that appointment. Additionally, he gave an up front price based on the description of the work we agreed upon that I felt was reasonable.Additionally, he went above and beyond when I asked about a chunk of rebar sticking out of the ground near my slab that I thought was my grounding cable. He clarified that it was not the grounding cable (or related at all to the electrical system of the house) but it presented a safety concern nonetheless and he made it a point to cut it down for me to remove the hazard.I highly recommend that you at least consider Mr. Electric if you have electrical work that you need completed.

We had two very professional guys come out to our home. Within 5 minutes they had a quote for us. I had been told when making my quote appointment that if we had the light fixture they could possibly instal it. So we did have it ready incase we were okay with the price. When we did get the quote, we thought it was a great price so they had our entry way chandlier installed in like 30 minutes! They were very clean, fast, courteous, professional, friendly. I was dreading this experience just because of the fear of expensive pricing but it was not that bad and totally worth every bit of the price! I would definitely recommend this company!!

David and Carlos came out and they were absolutely amazing. Super nice and very professional and got everything diagnosed and fixed within a very reasonable amount of time. They were good with my dogs ( that's a big deal to me ) and said they were ok with them and I didn't have to keep them outside. I was amazed at how quick his process was. I thought he would be here for most of the day, but he was done in a couple of hours. One of the things we replaced were all the fire alarms in the house. We called at 7:00 am Kirk and his partner were there by 8am and finished very quickly. Got a quote to install an Interlock Kit so that I could run a portable generator in case of emergency. I was quoted $1900. I took a few days to think about it. I’ve now spent 4 days back and forth asking for an itemized explanation of the quote. Keep getting told that I had been given a discount, and it would be more if they rework the quote. They are unwilling to actually address my concern of being overcharged. I found another licensed electrician that will do the job for 1/3 of the cost.

I contacted 2 electric service companies on Thursday. Milestone and Mr. Electric. I scheduled with Milestone to come out on Friday to install a ceiling fan. There was a service charge of $69 but I went ahead and scheduled since they could come the next day. I then saw the add for Mr. Electric and called. She also told me they could come Friday and she would waive the service call. No brainer. So I scheduled with Mr. Electric and canceled Milestone. My window of service was 12-5. I left work at 1:00 to meet them at my home even though they had not called yet. I decided to call their office just to confirm that I was on the schedule. She says yes I was just about to call you. I said great because I'm on my way home. She then says, no they are behind on other calls so they would have to cancel me and reschedule for Monday. I told her that was not acceptable and that I had canceled another company already to go with Mr. Electric. Didn't matter one bit to them. It was Monday or nothing. I have no respect for companies that pull stunts like this. I wouldn't give them my business now if they offered it for free. Anyone reading this, call Milestone.

I was closing on my house in two days. There was an issue with a line from the breaker to the furnace, it wasn’t rated for the max load draw. The process of changing our outdoor electrical panel was easy. Our electrician, Jake, was professional from start to finish. He answered any questions I had, worked with my husband to get our panel set up right while being courteous and overall just awesome the entire time.I also love how I got an email and text stating when he was going to be there with a picture of who was coming. Mr. Electric was able to get someone quickly to my home when it was discovered that I needed repair work before a replacement dishwasher could be installed. Warren really helped me by not only making the repairs to a problem caused by the big freeze event in February, but by taking pictures and emailing them to me for me to send to my insurance company and also by making it clear on the invoice that these repairs were needed because of the freeze.

They were very knowledgable in my security camera installation.I needed a outlet moved from the halt the bathroom (adjacent wall) and they did a great job. Very minor sheetrock that the painters covered easily. The service is fine in itself but the idea that you can't get up front pricing until the serviceman shows up is out dated. It would probably stop me from using the service again for this issue. There are too many other companies that can give you at least min cost prior to someone showing up. This has nothing to do with the work that was completed, just the process to make a decision on the spot when you have no idea what you will be quoted. The work was done and I'm happy with it, but will choose not to play the guessing game in the future when I need work completed. And the installer took my existing light fixtures with him when I realized it, he was gone. He boxed everything up as if he was cleaning up behind himself but I realized after he was gone that he had taken them. It was probably routine in cleaning up after the work is done, but the light globes were mine and not meant to be taken.

I had an issue with the electrical system that powers my swimming pool. I called Mr. Electric on Sunday afternoon and was surprised I actually spoke with someone. They worked to get me on schedule. It almost seemed to easy and I was skeptical that an electrician would be able to solve an issue with the pool equipment, especially the week before 4th of July :-). Aaron showed up on time and immediately got to work. He was able to test all of the connectors and was able to isolate where failure was originating from on a failing component of the pool. Aaron was able to get the pool powered on and even provided some best practice tips for the pool equipment. He was onsite for a little under two hours and was extremely professional. I could not be more satisfied with the service I got. Definitely recommend Aaron.

This company is my hero! I called the day before Thanksgiving because I was afraid of a possible fire hazard. I didn't think I could get anyone to come out that soon, but there they were at my house saving the day and potentially my entire house and family. I never saw the capes but I'm sure they were wearing them. Come to find out there WAS a fire hazard and all it took was changing the outlet, outlet box, and wires which they did expeditiously and at a reasonable price. They even cleaned up the soot that was beginning to travel up the wall from the heat rising. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Electric. The technician gave me suggestions on new lighting for my kitchen and different options depending on my budget. The office calls to follow up on the job. From the original call this was a great experience with mrelectric of ft worth, the lady took my call understanding my needs,set the appointment explaining everything, I got text and email confirming the appointment then on the appointment day i got a reminder text, then one more text with a photo of the tech and a call saying he would be there in 30 minutes or less,they were prompt on arrival, his name was Dylan but I cant remember the other guys name but they both very very courteous and looked at what i wanted done, explained the cost , and went right to work and completed the work quickly and did a great job. Cody came to install new lines and outlets to our greenhouse and shed in the backyard. He made some suggestions about changes in the junction box and ran cable and installed the 3 outdooor style outlets in the greenhouse and 2 regular outlets in the shed. The outlets are GFI and we are happy with the configuration and installation.I have used Mr. Electric before and am still happy with their work. I'm hoping, for this company , that I just got one of their less professional techs. I needed an attic vent fan motor replaced. Early morning Wed., the tech arrived, took out the old motor, went to install the new motor...wrong motor. He returned with the correct motor and installed it. $688.85!I came home from work, the surface temp in the attic was 114 -116 degrees. Fan NOT working. I called the office to get the tech back out Thur morning. Thur morning I called the tech, personally, to discuss the surface temp vs the air temp and decided to wait to see if the fan would come on at a hotter temp. Cancelled the revisit. Friday, I placed a couple of thermometers in the attic...120 degrees...no working fan all circuit breakers checked. Called the office to set up a service call for the following Tue. Late Friday, went into the attic to get a closer look at the fan. OMG what a butcher job! The fan blades were bent and one motor mount was repositioned to the point of it breaking the weld point and in it's new position, a SCREW had to be rigged to use to secure the mount to the back of the motor. IF it came on, it did not look capable of drawing but a little air, if ANY at all and the motor a fan may have shook so bad it may have fallen into the attic. I emailed the office with an in-depth writing of my discovery and sent photos. They offered to send the tech out again, NO THANKS, not the same one. I figured that even a different tech came out, they would find a way to charge me even more to fix the screw-ups. All ready in the hole $688.85I decided to cut bait, cut my losses and use the whole situation as a lesson learned. I told the company to not send any more techs out. I ordered the same new complete powered attic vent fan from Home Depot for $175.00. A roofing company will install it for $200.00 when it comes in. $375.00 for a new INSTALLED working system. $688.85 for a non-working and damaged fan. BTW, absolutely no contact from MR. Electric. Enjoy the $688.85. Have a pizza party on me.

I was originally impressed until my breaker panel completely shorted out one month after $6,000 of work was done by Mr. Electric after power surge damages in February winter storm. They came out, replaced several electrical lines, reattached earth ground that surges destroyed, replaced main 200A breaker on my second panel and much more. I’m extremely unhappy with their lack of looking for additional problems. The interior of the panel had melted hot wires and melted lugs with several burnt areas of the cabinets interior from shorting and arching.The panel completely failed 30-45 days later again. I called a local company (no local company available after winter stop so I used Mr. Electric.The Master Electrician who came out to check panel failure after Mr. Electric repaired it, they found many breakers replaced by Mr. Electric that were wrong size based on wire gauge. He also found carbon buildup and burnt areas on reverse of breaker bar. Neutral and grounds were mismatched, and I ended up with 7 pages of code violations and fire hazards.It cost another $7,500 to have the panel replaced and breaker size corrected based on circuit. Three additional companies couldn’t believe any electrician could possibly miss these items and make so many mistakes.Anytime major surges hit home, enough to melt Romeo in outlets and attic, especially with scorch marks all over panel interior, the panel must be replaced.Mr. Electric cost me $6,000 for nothing, ended up costing me over $13,500.00!Don’t use an electric company that works out of a “truck”, they couldn’t even get the 200A breaker. I had to order from Amazon! Then had to replace entire panel and same 200A breaker again with 21 single breakers!!!!Todd Springfield

Very unprofessional. My house didn’t pass inspection after a complete $13,000 re-wire of the entire house. The Electrician guaranteed it would be up to code which was a lie. They installed outlets deep into the walls, behind the drywall making it impossible to put outlet covers on. They cut large, enormous and unnecessary holes in the walls. The Electricians even capped off a vent on my roof with a coffee can! What professional company does that?

The customer service people and the technician were all excellent. I needed a dimmer switch replaced and I also wanted them to replace two bulbs in my tree lights. The dimmer switch was replaced just fine. However, (a big however) I was told by the technician that they don't have the capability to replace bulbs in tree lights. This is not what their website communicates, nor what the staff communicated over the phone. There is a big section on their website claiming all sorts of landscape lighting capabilities. I feel like they are misleading consumers on that front. Otherwise, their normal electrical work is very good. Giving them 3 stars because of the lack of transparency issue.

Told tec exactly what I wanted and he repeated it to me. I was given a quote of 435.00. When he finished I ask him where my 110 outlet was and he said that wasn’t in the quote but he went over it with me and actually touched the places I wanted them. Mr. Electric’s initial visit didn’t square with what I thought was a fair price and like every other company they sent me a customer sat survey. I was honest and thought i’d never hear anything about it.I was wrong. A manager called me and we discussed what happened and they refunded a portion of the money within 15 minutes of our call.Then they sent a Master Electrician our to fix something that was overlooked and did that at no additional cost to me.I’m very impressed with the level of integrity this company showed me and how much they truly care about their customers.Will definitely call them the next time I need something done.

I had a partial outage in my house. None of the easy fixes worked like checking the breakers so I called Mr. Electric and set up an appointment. I had never done business before with them. When they called me back they encouraged me to call Oncor first because partial outages can be caused by somethings on their end. I called Oncor and when technician asked why I needed them to come out I explained that Mr. Electric told me check with Oncor first. The Oncor tech immediately responded, that's a good electrician most would take the money and tell you afterwards it's a Oncor problem. It was not an Oncor problem, so knowing I was dealing with an ethical company, I called Mr. Electric back. They got me right in and fixed the problem quickly and told m upfront what the cost would be after a quick assessment. Very professional, very competent, very friendly. I made an appointment Sunday at noon to have an electrician go Monday between 8 am-12noon ( appointment was scheduled and confirmed). I asked the person in the phone to add the notes the inspector gave us. Specially requested for the electrician to read notes before going to the house...i told them that i am a REALTOR and we were in option period, Monday is our last day, so far everything was fine. Monday at 10 am someone from Mr. Electric called saying that because it is a RE transaction they have to reschedule for Thursday WHAT!!!! The lady wouldn’t let me talk, repeatedly I had to say, excuse me, let me talk....really bad customer service. I wouldn’t recommend Mr. Electric. Cancelled my appointment the day of ( during option period for a Real Estate deal).

Justin installed our RV electric box back in 2016. At the time he suggested wiring it for 50 amp service although our RV at the time only required 30 amps.A year and a half later and we have a new RV. Guess what, Justin was right, we now need 50 amps. BE AWARE their $39.00 dispatch fee is the fee charged for them ringing your doorbell and pulling out an iPad. The diagnostic fee is around $360 plus, which may or may not include any work being done. Getting answers from the owners son took a condescending tone and frankly does not care what comes out of the technicians mouth that during the slow season they do not charge the fee.
