Service was professional, however I do feel it was overpriced. I tend to ensure I get an idea of the fees prior to having a specialist come out, but failed to do so this time and it appears I got the typical, nice big house, looks like a high end of the range fee situation. I needed an AFCI breaker replaced, which took less than 30 minutes altogether. Then was told that he would waive the diagnostics fee (I didn't even know there was one) and was still charged an amount much higher than I expected. Looking up local rates, I noticed that this type of work is typically charged $100-$200 less per breaker. So definitely feel I was overcharged, however they do know what they are doing and are very technical. I would just not make the mistake I made and ensure you understand their fee structure prior to having them come out.

They're not afraid to help. Over the phone, I went to schedule an appointment. The owner(?) said to check GFI in my garage (no garage power, panel box fuse was fine). GFI was it. One button press and problem was fixed. No appointment necessary. He could have easily gotten $100+ from me with an appointment. They've got my business for life.

Nick responded to both text and phone calls promptly and was able to be available within 2 days. He did some troubleshooting (that was dead on), put together a quote that day, and scheduled to do the work that week. He was on time, had the right materials, and worked to completion though it became late because I added work that he ( thankfully) recommended to avoid further issues. And he honored both Veteran & Firefighter discounts. I can highly recommend Nick!

Electrical and Wiring Repair
Had Brian come out and repair some old outlets and wiring, and he did a phenomenal job!. Very quick as well! Will be having him come out and install new light fixtures in our closet. 100% recommend!!

FYI Jim doesn't do agreements just estimates. He Started a total remodel of 2600 sf overhauled 100amp panel to 200 in October 2015! Took us 5 months to get started but we were warned up front Jim was that far out & busy. We passed the rough in then I saw Jim one more time in 2016 & we got 3 outlets & 1 switch! Yay! BUT

Haven't seen or heard from Jim since! We've texted called & emailed EVERYTHING has gone unanswered! Some girl answered his emails once then emailed me back to say she quit! Very fishy, maybe Jims website has been hacked. Maybe Jim is dead. We just don't know!

We just can't continue to wait on Jim to finish the House & call the building dept for final inspection. We don't know how good Jim is because we haven't passed final. Our concern is Jim might have known it might not pass so he just disappeared! With no agreement in place there's nothing but a verbal agreement. So he's been paid $6,800 & didn't finish the job! We liked Jim personally & just hope he's ok alive & his family is good!

My advice: buyer beware! GET AN AGREEMENT IN WRITING OR DONT HIRE!

Mark completed my annual furnace maintenance today, including the whole-house humidifier. He was on-time, professional yet personable, completed his tasks quickly and answered all of my questions. Just another great service experience from the service techs at Brothers!

After calling several electricians for an estimate to upgrade my electrical panel, and getting quotes that made no sense at all, Pat came out at the time he said he would ( I think he was early) looked at the job and that afternoon had emailed me a quote. His quote was the most reasonable and was detailed. He finished the job and everything looks great! In fact I called 2 days after the job was complete to have him complete another project for me. When it came time for the city to do their inspection, he was there before the inspector and the inspector thanked him for a job well done. As a realtor, I am always looking for business that I can recommend to clients and I will surely be giving out Affordable Electrics name.

Zach and his crew are all considerate, hardworking, and professional. Really nice people all around. They are now my go to for anything electrical.
