Affordable Electrical Service

We bought a property that was definitely dated and in dyer need of updating. We had gotten a recommendation for this electrician from our realtor and turned out to work well as he was affordable and knowledgeable about everything we needed. I’m confident that we will need more work in the future and will be calling AES.

I had a really bad experience with Pat, and ended up losing money because of him. Very unprofessional. If you do bad business, you will get bad reviews.

Pat and Roger cleaned up the mess left by the previous, unprofessional electrician. They came in on short notice (less than 24hrs) and worked weekends to get the job done. Pat responded to all of my communications in a timely manner and resolved all issues quickly and efficiently. Their hardwork and understanding of the trade allowed me to finish my kitchen remodel in time for Thanksgiving. My family and I are grateful and lucky to have found them!

Pat installed lighting in our business showroom, but it was a hassle getting him to finish the job. Three trips later, he kind of finished, but then the lights stopped working a week later. Now two more sets of lights stopped working. We asked him for a quote for additional outlets in our new expansion and he forgot to quote the project. Then he texted to ask what I needed done all over again. Well, I spent over an hour with him in person showing him EXACTLY what I needed. He showed up without a mask as well. He wasted my time again so I said we'll find someone else. His last text message to me, Don't ever call me again for any work. Well Pat, I definitely will not be calling you ever again. I could have installed the lighting and outlets myself in less time than you and save thousands of dollars.

I own my own home in Littleton and a rental property in Denver. Anytime I have anything go wrong at either house, I ask my realtor who is the best person/company to contact. When my renters had electrical problems, I asked my realtor who he trusted and he told me Pat with Affordable Electrical. He never steered me wrong, so I called Pat. Pat was responsive and got over to the house on time. He explained exactly what was wrong and what needed to be fixed then and what could wait. He explained all prices before doing the work and he was very reasonable on pricing. He did such a great job that I used him on that rental property again for another unrelated issue and have had him to my house in Littleton to install outdoor outlets. He always explains all options upfront and gives me the efficient and cost effective way to go and offers more complicated and custom solutions if appropriate...which I took him up on this last time.
I will use him again when an opportunity arises. I look forward to being able to shake his hand one day. Since I have only met him in person since Covid started (and he is great about wearing a mask and respecting distance) I have not had the chance yet. I definitely recommend.

Every time Pat scheduled an appointment with me, he was actually able to make it before the scheduled time. Came in with a very reasonable bid and was able to complete the work within 24 hours. Thank Pat!

If you are looking for a competent, responsive and reliable electrical company this is your place. Pat and his team went above and beyond. They are very honest and friendly. We have used their services several times now, and have always been well satisfied.

I had requested Affordable Electrical services to come to my residence to install a 240 and a 120 outlet. I was told that the electrician would be here from 9am-11am. When they day came, Pat didn't show up until after 11:00am. At 11:50am, I got the quote. He offered me a free add on service for the light switch that was not working but really didn't fix the issue (understandably, the house is old). Pat tried to keep telling me that he would be able to do the dryer vent and also the plumbing. I hired an ELECTRICIAN for electrical services, not for anything else. Close to 3:00pm, Pat let me know that he had to leave and that he would not be able to put in the 4 prong 240 outlet in the other (what we hired him to do). He left abruptly and I called my husband, Understandably so, my husband was upset that he had not put in a 4 prong outlet which was the PRIORITY and I let him know that at the begging of the quote. When I called Pat to return and to finish the job, he basically talked over me and let me know that he was already far out on the way to pick up his son. He kept going on and on and called me a difficult customer. I let him know that both my husband and I paid him close to $700 to install the outlets and that neither he or I wanted to have a hole in the room if that is what we hired him for. He kept raising his voice and talking over me. He came back to fix the job and left.

Though I did he did a great job with the outlets, I do not appreciate as paying customer being yelled at, talked over and being called difficult. We paid for a service and that's what we should be getting in return. I paid him the full price and things should not be left undone. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I have taken the time to post this in various sites as I want people to be aware of how Pat runs his business. They can comment on this post, but that will never excuse someone from being late, not finishing a job, not having the equipment to finish the job, yelling at a customer because they were complaining about the job not being complete.

Of the three electricians I contacted for an estimate, Affordable came over the same day I called. The others were a week or more out. It was a rather difficult job, needing special electrical hardware and tools to cut through a thick stone back splash. He did a great job and it looks great!

They came on short notice, diagnosed the problem, and gave me an estimate. Pat was friendly and knowledgeable and I was very pleased. A handyman charged me the day before and could not find a solution. I highly recommend Affordable Electrical for any electrical problem.

Watch Out! The owner of this company accidently cut power to our garage while trying to install our hot tub. Then wanted another $400 to fix it!! We still have a case pending with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), and BBB. He couldn't even install the hot tub properly. We had to call the hot tub store and have him talk to one of their technicians. Then found out he never pulled a permit! Wow, what a horrible experience. I wouldn't hire this guy again to change a light bulb!!

Pat was outstanding. Very good customer service. Stuck by his word and priced match a leading competitor. He showed up on time and finished the job in a timely manner. Inspection went great! We were all impressed in quality of work. Pat he is a perfectionist and his world shows it. He takes pride in the job.

I had 4 different electricians come out and give me a quote on a rewire for my parents and this was the most reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Pat.

Reasonably priced and professional, friendly service! Patrick was great about communicating, and he clearly knew what he was doing when he was doing the estimate for replacement and additional lighting in this older building of ours. His technician, Mike, was also very knowledgeable and you couldn't ask for a more courteous attitude, as he was working while customers were shopping in the store! He even stayed late into the evening so as to complete the job in one visit for our convenience. I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs electrical work done!

After calling several electricians for an estimate to upgrade my electrical panel, and getting quotes that made no sense at all, Pat came out at the time he said he would ( I think he was early) looked at the job and that afternoon had emailed me a quote. His quote was the most reasonable and was detailed. He finished the job and everything looks great! In fact I called 2 days after the job was complete to have him complete another project for me. When it came time for the city to do their inspection, he was there before the inspector and the inspector thanked him for a job well done. As a realtor, I am always looking for business that I can recommend to clients and I will surely be giving out Affordable Electrics name.

I took some time to research which company serviced the parking lot lighting in the shopping center adjacent to us and once I found out I asked for a bid to get our lights fixed. They were more than willing to send a bid and get the work scheduled since they were the best bid of 3. Two business days before the scheduled day I received a voicemail stating that they were not going to be able to do this job because of the cost to get a lift and the potential additional costs since they warranty their work. I was very disappointed to receive this call and now have to find a new company to perform the service.

Patrick was grate ,got the job done and was very respectful. I would recommend him and his company for any electrical job.

Pat just wired up my garage with a 100amp sub panel and some circuits and went over the top for service! Even though we scheduled about a week out from getting a quote (which was incredibly fair), he came the next day just to lay the trench wire because I knew I was dyin to not have a 20 trench in my yard any longer! He also swapped out an incorrect breaker in my main left behind from the last electrician and being the DIY and curios homeowner I am, he thoroughly explained everything he was going to do and performed.

Pat at AES did a great job for me. I am renovating a room, and I had AES rewire the room, install new outlets and switches, install and re-route new wiring/pots for lighting and ceiling fan and an outdoor light. He started the work within days of scoping out the project - and had the work done super quick. Price was very reasonable and on budget. He was also very professional, courteous -- kept in communication with me and left the room looking better than he found it. I plan to use AES in the future for more work I need done. Nice job, Pat!

I had to schedule three times before someone came out. Patrick arrived in a filthy t-shirt and did not use booties, though it was muddy and rainy. Unimpressed by this since I had just had the carpet cleaned the previous week. Although I had sent him pictures of the pendants I wanted to swap out and made sure he knew it was a fourteen foot vaulted ceiling, it wasn't until he got here that he informed me I needed to buy lamp wire and more chain for the new lamp. He didn't seem to care if he got the job or not. I went elsewhere.
