I needed to replace an outlet for a new dryer that had a 4-prong plug instead of the 3-prong outlet in my wall. I wish I remember the name of the electrician that came out, because he told me how running the ground wire for the 4th prong of the new outlet was doable, but would be expensive and unnecessary, and instead suggested a fix that was easy enough to do myself and significantly cheaper. He left without charging me and refused to take a fee for coming out. So while I can't comment on the quality of work done, I am more than impressed by their honesty, and will definitely be coming back to them next time I need an electrician.

Interstate Electric did a FANTASTIC job on the installation of our ceiling fan. They worked around our schedule on Sunday to install an extra large fan in our 27' high foyer. They follow the highest standards for safety and professionalism. Fair and competitive prices with excellent service!

Tony and Michael were professional and courteous. I had them run two new circuits in my basement, and after their initial job, asked them to complete a lighting upgrade on behalf of our HOA.

I'll be working with them in the future as more projects arise.

We used Current Electric to add a new circuit for our bathroom remodel's underfloor radiant heat system, as well as adding additional outlets (120v and 220v) in our 1940s home. They were great at communicating, on-time, and the work was done well and for a reasonable price. We'll definitely use them again for any of our electrical needs. Highly recommend.

This company is top notch in every way. Elijah has been a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgable, polite, a great communicator, hard working, clean, honest, trustworthy.. everything a contractor should be, he is and better. I cannot recommend Uli, Marshall, Jason, Johan and the whole team at Top Shelf enough.

I initially got in touch with Top Shelf because a different company had broken my water heater during a routine intake outtake pipe repair. The company claimed I needed a new heater entirely. Marshall came over and was very responsive to my questions, said that they might be right and I would need a new water heater, but that he'd look into it. After a half an hour or so he had the issue fixed: the previous company had installed a one way valve on the pipe going the wrong direction and so he just took that out and, viola, fixed.

I liked so much of how Marshall worked, I have just completed an HVAC installation with another of Top Shelf's technicians: Jason and his brother Johan. Despite having some setbacks with getting the metal ducting into our basement that weren't his fault, Jason stayed at our house until 8:30pm to make sure we had heat that night. Johan helped with all things electrical and I gather came over to help things done in a speedy matter given the install was done during a snowstorm. Both were extremely professional and easy to talk to. We're now sitting comfortably with a new HVAC and humidifier.

I plan on using Top Shelf anytime I need the services they offer - I'm already planning new electrical work with them here shortly. I encourage you to contact them - you won't be disappointed.

FYI Jim doesn't do agreements just estimates. He Started a total remodel of 2600 sf overhauled 100amp panel to 200 in October 2015! Took us 5 months to get started but we were warned up front Jim was that far out & busy. We passed the rough in then I saw Jim one more time in 2016 & we got 3 outlets & 1 switch! Yay! BUT

Haven't seen or heard from Jim since! We've texted called & emailed EVERYTHING has gone unanswered! Some girl answered his emails once then emailed me back to say she quit! Very fishy, maybe Jims website has been hacked. Maybe Jim is dead. We just don't know!

We just can't continue to wait on Jim to finish the House & call the building dept for final inspection. We don't know how good Jim is because we haven't passed final. Our concern is Jim might have known it might not pass so he just disappeared! With no agreement in place there's nothing but a verbal agreement. So he's been paid $6,800 & didn't finish the job! We liked Jim personally & just hope he's ok alive & his family is good!

My advice: buyer beware! GET AN AGREEMENT IN WRITING OR DONT HIRE!

I would give this company 0 stars but that’s not an option. Electrician came out and made all kinds of excuses not to do the work. Lucky I found Allsafe electric. There electrician came out did a full diagnostic and resolved my issue.

I work for a Rocky Mountain Electric for about 3 weeks only got paid for one week still owes me 37 hours pay
