Best Switches Install in Columbus OH

I bought 3 pendant lights from Restoration Hardware to hang over our kitchen island. We have a vaulted ceiling which made the job more challenging. Anthony and Dan had to drill new holes as well as fish new wiring. They did a perfect job and I couldn’t love the pendants more. These guys are great!

Jim was very professional and friendly. He called me two days before his scheduled visit and said he could come earlier. This was great for me, and my electrical problems were taken care of very promptly. Jim fully deserves his 5-star rating!

Had a few estimates and this was the most reasonable one. The work was completed the very next day. The electricians were prompt, courteous, neat and very hardworking. The job was impeccable. Ernest refused payment until the car was home and could test the charger. Only then was the invoice sent. Highly recommend and will use again for our electrical needs!

He was quick and helpful. He was also willling to help me over the phone before even coming out to my home.

Fast and clean and professional

When the power went out, we expected the generator to come on—but it didn’t. I was panicked, we are old people who cannot tolerate temperature extremes due to medical issues. When we called Countryside Electric, even though all the service techs were out on other calls, I could tell that Brittany, the office manager, truly cared and wanted to help. You know what I mean—with some businesses, you can tell it’s just business. But she really cared that someone was panicked and needed immediate help. The first thing she did was try to talk my husband through the process on the phone, and while he was able to go outside and get the generator running, we discovered a few minutes later that power had not transferred to the house—so I called back a second time.

Brittany contacted a technician (I later found out he is her husband) who by luck was nearby, and he was at our house in less than a half hour. I understand that we were lucky—but had she not cared, she wouldn’t have gone to the trouble to see if anyone was in our neighborhood, and just put us on the list instead. Kyle, the technician, quickly located the problem, and got it running properly. We were told we’d need to switch the house back to the regular electrical supply manually when the power came back on.

Around eleven o’clock at night, it occurred to me that the power might come on after we went to bed, and I didn’t know what would happen if we didn’t know until morning. Could it damage the generator, hurt our circuitry, start a fire? I was ready to stay up all night to make sure we were awake to handle the transfer when the power came back on. So I called Countryside Electric, to find out if it was safe to go to bed, and as late as it was, I got a call back from Kyle in less than ten minutes—amazing! I found out later that he’d been up since four in the morning, and still had service calls to finish! But he took time to reassure us that nothing bad would happen if we went to bed. I was REALLY impressed that he took the time to call us, considering how hectic his day had to have been. He came back a few days later and determined that for some reason unusual conditions had prevented the transfer switch from working as it should, but showed my husband what to do in the unlikely event that it ever happened again. Apparently the electricity had blinked off and then on so many times that the mechanism was confused about whether or not our electrical supply was crying wolf, and it had concluded it was a false alarm. At the same time we discovered that our sump pump was not wired into the control panel, so Kyle will be coming back to fix that for us.

Kyle and Brittany went above and beyond what you would normally expect from a company in an emergency, and I can’t express how grateful I am not to have had to evacuate my home. Thanks to their diligence, we were only without power for about an hour! I also would like to add that they serviced my generator the past few times, and their pricing is very competitive. I couldn’t be happier.

My outdoor switch wasn't working. I had already called three other companies had to leave messages on each call no one ever called back and then I found McCorkle Electric--not only did Ken answer the phone but he came out the same day and repaired my switch. Excellent service,great value,professional and very responsive. I will definitely be calling him again.

I had issue with lights turning on and off in my store. I called these guys. Someopne came and recommanded breaker needed changed. I told him that I didn't think so as I had already checked the breaker. He changed the breaker anyway and charged me $480. He never left me any invoice. After he left, the problem wasn't solved. I was promised half an hour of free diagnostic so i called him again. The guy came, again without invoice, checked lights and said the breaker was off. I know it wasn't. He gave my employees an attitude. Lights were still out. I called another company. The came and fixed the problem within minutes. The issue was in the main panel which the 'My Electric Works' guy never even checked it. I would strobgly recommand not ever to call these guys for any electrical workls.

Upon contacting Skills II NV, David got back with us within 24 hours. Their website was very easy to navigate to schedule an appointment. David figured out a major problem we’d been having and fixed it economically. He’s a great diagnostician who gave us more than one option for our electricity needs. We will be contacting them first for any future needs.

Would not recommend. We hired them to replace our electrical panel, install new light fixtures and new recessed lighting. On our electrical panel about half of the switches are labeled unknown and our recessed lights make a loud buzzing noise. When we asked them to come back and look at the recessed lights, the guy just said well I can't hear anything. Now we have to pay another electrician to come and fix them.
