My Husband and I live in a home that was built in 1974, and the upstairs lighting fixtures were in the walls instead of the ceilings. We called R & T Yoder to come and give us a quote for the installation of ceiling fans in 3 rooms and removal of the wall fixtures in 2 rooms. Daniel came to our house and was extremely nice and very professional. They gave us a quote and we were extremely happy with the price. Daniel came and completed the installation by himself in 2 days. We are extremely happy with the results. Great company and excellent customer service. Professional, punctual, talented electricians. Christopher C. and another technician came to our home to install a light in an office that did not have existing wiring. They came on time and completed the job quickly. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and asked us questions throughout the process to make sure we were satisfied with the plan. WOW! Since we moved into our home 4 years ago, my husband and I have had a lot of different skilled workers and contractors doing work on our house. None of them even compare to the service and quality that Jaxon at R&T Yoder provided to us! Scheduling with their office was extremely quick and Ashley was very responsive to me and transparent about pricing. I received plenty of communication reminding me of my appointment, sharing a picture of my technician, and giving me a heads up on when he'd be arriving (perfectly on time!).
But the real differentiator here is the quick and professional work that Jaxon was able to provide, especially since I was paying by labor hours. He very quickly assessed the issues I had with a couple of dimmer switches, provided a recommendation, and resolved the issues. He also installed a new light fixture that would've taken me a couple hours in just 20 minutes. This was money well-spent and I will be using R&T again and again!

The technician, Gavin Hill was very thorough and detail oriented.We had gate timers installed and he made sure they were properly operational before he left, he was also punctual which is a plus. I learned more about these timers than l knew before he came, Will definitely keep them on speedial.

Called to schedule a quote for some routine electrical work and was told there is a $69 charge if I don’t hire them. I’ve never paid for quote for work and I’m not about to start now. Absolutely disrespectful to the customer.

Randy did a wonderful job making sure we received the correct parts. He took the time to get the light fixtures replaced and ready to go for a special event happening that evening.

I had an emergency situation as my lights at my shop were almost completely out. They fit me into a schedule and worked with me to do it on my least busy day. The R&T Yoder Electric, Inc crew was on time the day of the installation and were very professional. They started in my out door area first so I would be able to accept customers as soon as possible at my drive thru and then went on to complete my office and wine shop afterwards. They were done in a short amount of time and my car side service was shut down only briefly. They Team was sensitive to my business needs and were pleasant at all times. I would definitely use them again if needed and would suggest that other small business owners use them as well. They were great to deal with.

R&T Yoder organization takes all the worry away for difficult electrical repairs. The office assistant Alyssa makes everything run we'll. Very responsive. The electrician did a difficult ( for me) install of a 50 amp 220v circuit to our garage; installed a distribution box for a air compressor, car lift and welder and wired the welder in only 10 hours! I will always use them from now on. No surprises! No negatives. Well, the only surprise is it turned out better than I ever imagined.

I had a great experience with these folks. Very efficient and professional and they not only installed an EV charger for me but got it set up online through a very convoluted process set up by the manufacturer. I couldn't be more pleased.

I have used R&T Yoder Electric for both emergency and scheduled work. How fortunate was I when they supported me within 24 hours of the local gas company mandating the installation of a ground wire - all the while turning the gas supply off? Very. We've used Rod, Tim and staff for 4-5 years with nothing but good results. The workers are clean, courteous and on time. They have uniforms and the trucks are well marked which make our customers very comfortable having them in their homes doing work. The prices are fair and very competitive. The staff in the office is always kind and helpful when we need scheduling and billing questions answered. I would highly recommend R&T Yoder Electric to any family or friends.
I contacted R&T Yoder for a full rewire of a 1922 home in Clintonville/Columbus Ohio. They removed all the old knob and tube wiring and replaced EVERY SINGLE WIRE in the entire home and free standing garage. They rerouted a new wire from the pole, added new electrical panels, added tons of can lights and chandeliers. Overall, an awesome experience with a wonderful crew. This was multiple week project and we always had the same crew ~ consistently on time and quality people.

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous...what more can I say. We did a major renovation on our farm house and we began working with Yoder Electric one on one in August, 2020 after our General Contractor left the job. I can only say if you have any doubts about this business, please don't. They were friendly, courteous, professional, always felt like they were happy to talk or see us when they were at the house working. They ALL listened to what we wanted and did exactly what we asked plus. I never encountered one issue or problem with Yoder Electric. Everyone there that helped us deserves huge KUDOS for their willingness to go that extra mile to help us thru this project. This company is worth its weight in gold.

I contacted Yoder with some general questions early on in the planning phase of a cedar soaking tub installation. They listened to my ideas and requests, formulated a plan, sent me a very reasonable quote, took care of the permits with the city and worked around my schedule instead of me working around theirs. I definitely recommend this company, they'll help you bring your vision to completion...and it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Tim was friendly and listened to our experience as to when it stopped working, what we’d tried, and asked questions to begin finding the problem. He was professional and well skilled to diagnose the issue and have us up and running in leas than an hour! I don’t hesitate to recommend them.

Yoder Electric was able to come to my rental property on short notice. They arrived the same day I called and quickly replaced a dozen or so old outlets. The guys had no idea what to expect but were flexible enough to run to the hardware store for what they needed and even added a new outlet at my request. Their price was fair and I wasn't charged for a same day rush. I'm completely satisfied with my service and would recommend Yoder to others.
I appreciated Rod personally jumping on board a project I had that was outside my scope of practice, he made himself available on my schedule to explain what I needed and get me a quote right away.
Enjoyed working with his crews, they completed their job in two trips while working around the plumbers and rough carpenters schedules.

Sure, they can install electric and it works. However, be prepared for your yard to look like the photos. They did not trench the line instead they hand dug it with a shovel at the end of December. We are now paying to have the yard fixed. The yard will not be back to original condition till fall. Figure the cost of their bid along with a professional landscaper to fix what they dig up!
Yoder electric was very professional and did an excellent job. They were always on time, courteous and their quote was significantly lower than other quotes we received.

If you have an Electric issue i recommend R&T Yoder Electric. There very friendly and very honest. I had a serious problem and the prices i was getting was OUTRAGEOUS. Poor quality of repair. I paid 735.00 for.replaced riser pole, but they did not put the flashing back in place. I now have a squirrels nest the size of my house...

made appointment to install lights in show room with Rod . Day of scheduled appointment workers came in installed lights in timely fashion and did wonderful job and were out . FIRST CLASS BUSINESS
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME! I was lied to about pricing. I received the worst customer service when they blamed me for their mistakes. I'd let my house burn down from an electrical fire before I let them into my home again!

We had an electrical fire on a Sunday night. Rod returned a call on Sunday night while on vacation and had a service tech at the house first thing Monday morning. Could not have asked for any better service!
