The purpose of the call was that I needed to have 2 hard-wired smoke detectors replaced due to age. After inspection, there were several other updates that needed to be addressed and upgraded, including installation of a whole home surge protector and fixing a couple of incorrectly wired circuit breakers. I was happy with the work and it was completed promptly. Technicians were professional and friendly. Thanks.

After months of flickering, the lights in our kitchen and hallway finally stopped working altogether so I called Big City Electric to help; I'm so glad I did! The person on the phone was super helpful and was able to fit me in same day. Bryan and Charles arrived on time (early even!) and were extremely fast, kind, and knowledgable. In addition to fixing the main issue and replacing two fixtures I'd been unable to reach, all within the minimum call-out time, they were also nice enough to make a recommendation for new bulbs which will hopefully save me from needing to replace them as often in the future. I appreciated their politeness and professionalism throughout and also their adherence to COVID-19 safety practices. I'm so glad I chose this company and they will definitely be my first choice in the future! :)

Called Ken for an estimate & he came out 2 days later & then gave me the estimate 3 days later. Scheduled the job for @ 3.5 weeks later. All good to this point.
The night before the job Ken called to ask if we can move the appointment as he didn't finish a job that day. No problem - scheduled it for 1 week later. Ken then No-showed for the job. Called him numerous times that day to find out if he was still coming or if there was an issue. None of my calls were answered & none were returned.
Wasted 5 weeks when I could have found someone else to do the job that they claimed they could do. Now I have to start over.
