Best Electrical Fixture Installation in Chicago IL

STS electricians are super great, found them on Google search when searching for an electrician and decided to call them because their website contained all the information I was looking for and pretty much answered all the questions I had before I booked electrical service. On top of that I live in an historical building in Chicago which you have to be careful about and they were able to handle it without and issue and within city code. Thank you guys.

Highlights Chicago Electrical did a great job in a short time for me. The electrical panel at my house was old outdated and under powered. They pulled permits for the city and updated my power service as well as upgrading my electrical panels from 2 to a 3 panels. I highly recommend their services! Very positive experience - the owner Darrell had a crew swing by the same day (a day earlier than promised). They helped assess why my freezer was tripping the circuit breaker, but confirmed no power issue. They even checked two additional issues (light switch and ceiling fan) for no charge. Will definitely reuse in the future.

I booked an appointment with them. It was confirmed online and 2 follow up email confirmations. Day of the appt they call me at 8 in the morning (my appt was at 2pm) and tell me that their free estimate is over the phone. That would have been acceptable except they never had an actual total. They just kept say $180 for the first half hour and $90 every half hour after that. I asked would the electrician let me know the actual total or estimation of time before beginning the actual work. They said they couldn't do that. They wouldn't know how long. So you want me to just let you blindly take your time doing the repairs with no real idea of how much it will be? Then I said well would your electrician still be showing up for our 2 pm appt? They said they couldn't guarantee it since they had a lot of stops scheduled for around that time. So now you're telling me that you purposely over booked and I am supposed to sit around waiting all day. I work at night so my times have to be precise because that's when I sleep which is why I had booked an appointment time and got confirmations. All of it was just a complete waste of time. There was no value for the clients time. Never have I had these problems with contractors.

We have had Safe Electrical out to our home several times now. They updated all the electrical outlets and changed out some wiring to make the home safe after we moved in. They hung several ceiling fans as well as light fixtures. They recently upgraded us to 200 amp service after a power surge went through our very old box. Charles and his team have always been nothing but professional and they always clean up after every job. When we lost power due to the power surge Charles walked me theough what to have ComEd check on their end and was out to the house that same day to get us power back up so we had heat that night. Once the parts were in his team completed the 200 amp upgrade in one day and they did an excellent job. I am glad I can count on Safe Electrical in the future for both emergencies as well as routine upkeep. Thank you to Charles and the whole Safe Electrical team.

Was worried about a light switch not working right. Called & Gino(very personable) came out & fixed it within an hour. First time using their service but not the last.

We had a wire short out and start a small fire in our shop. Lucky there was no damage but we needed an electrician right away. Maxx Electrical Services answered the phone and say they could help. They arrived within a few hours and traced the problem and made it safe to turn the power back on to our shop. Great service and fast response.

Drew Electric was extremely professional. I gave them a call because half the power went out in our house and they showed up less than 30 minutes later. I tried finding the correct circuit breaker but couldn't find it around our house. When the guy came he was able to EASILY find the breaker and fix our power in less than 30 minutes. The guy was nice and professional. I would recommend Drew Electric for anyone who lives in the area.

We had a wonderful experience with Diaz Electrical Contracting . Bobby and Barrett are very responsive and helpful, and the team that installed our lights (Kevin and Willy) was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. We will certainly use them for all our electrical projects.

I called Hani at 9:30 on a Saturday after I spent an hour calling every “24/7” service that had an ad on Google. No one would help or even pick up. I looked on Google map, saw Neuman , then Hani picked up, we talked for 1 minute, and then he was at my apartment and done by 10:45. Diagnosed the problem fast, had the breaker part to fix it fast, and made sure there were no safety issues inside the apartment. I’ll be calling Neuman next time I need anything electrical done. I’m very happy with the weekend late night service.

Bruno Electrical Contracting rewired our home up to code; added outlets in every room; fixed and cleaned up the panel; fixed and reinstalled the outdoor lights; and installed new light fixtures. All these with minimal damage to walls and ceilings. His team was very professional, polite and hard workers. We are very pleased with their work. What is most important, the job was done ON time, ON budget and NO surprises.
