A to Z Electric Co.

We recently purchased a house and used A to Z to install several lights/fans and to fix some smaller electrical issues from our inspection report. Our experience with A to Z was they were timely, had good communication, and fair pricing. We are really happy with the work they provided and will use them for future projects!

I highly recommend A to Z Electrical. I contacted them and the response was the same day. Barry was so nice to work with. He answered all my questions and helped me feel less anxious about my project. The job of reconnecting power to my detached garage only took a day. The guys did an excellent job and were very nice. I will definitely use A to Z again.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend A to Z electric. I called them twice to do a basic service for a rental apartment I own. The first time was to fix an electric issue in the second bedroom. For lights flickering and to fix a CGFI outlet, I was charged 300.00I then called them to re-locate a smoke detector. They re-located the detector (no wiring involved, just unscrewing the detector and re-screwing it higher on the wall). Then without authorizing or confirming with me, they decided to repair existing outlets in bedroom/office repaired for having bad connection. I did not ask them to do this service. On top of this I had already paid them $300 to fix the very same outlets only a week before. Either they did a bad job the week before and are charging me twice for a poor job because why would the electric fail one week later after they repaired it, or they are scammers because they charged me for a repair I did not request. I only requested they moved the smoke detectors. The tenants are very quick to notify me when something is broken and did not complain about any electrical issues. This is basically what everyone warns you about, that a company will make up some fake claim and then charge you for it. To do this bogus job they charged me $315.00This is why on multiple times I asked them to call me when a technician was in the unit to run me through the repairs so I could authorize the repairs. I also asked them to send photos of the repairs/work but they refused and I never received a call, not even to let me know that they were in the unit. Save your money. Unfortunately, a money-hungry company.

We had several switches and outlets repaired and four ceiling lights/pendants installed. Couldn’t have been a better experience…friendly personnel, great work, and even the best clean up after they were done. Would highly recommend.

I can’t express enough as to how wonderful an experience having Mr Lovino of A to Z Electric service my needs. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and exceptionally prompt. I would highly recommend this company!

Called and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and do some work but nobody showed up. When I called them to find out what happened, they lied to me about calling me back - they said they had spoken to someone who said they didn't schedule anything.I've had my fully charged phone next to me all day and they didn't try getting in contact. Even if they mis-dialed and spoke to someone else, they had my name and could've easily determined that they called the wrong number.Thanks for delaying the resolution of my electrical issue and wasting my time, A to Z - and then lying about trying to get in contact with me.

Everyone in the company has been cordial, professional and efficient since I initially called last fall. They rewired my entire home at a fair price, in a timely fashion, answered any and all questions and concerns that I had along the way, AND cleaned up completely at the end of each workday. I have been recommending them to my friends and work associates. They do an impeccable job.

I’ve used A to Z Electric for many projects. They installed a ceiling fan, three new light fixtures and outdoor lighting outside of my garage. They also redid all the electrical wiring in my garage. They do every job to perfection. They are nice and professional too. I would highly recommend them. 10 out of 10!

Contacted A to Z electric Co. And was able to set up assessment times right away.Barry, a great individual who is thorough and clear, came out to do the assessment. He walked us through what he thought we'd need. We contacted them a week later to make amendments to our plan. We contacted A to Z again to do so. Bob was clear, engaged and present when asking about the changes we wanted to make.Bob came early to re assess and go over the changes again. During the assessment he looked over our existing wiring and validated that the changes we had talked about were safe and viable. His team, Frankie, Tony, and himself were professional, kind, and thorough again. They cleaned up quite well.With having an old house and I'm sure we'll be needing to update things as time goes on. We look forward to hiring them again.

I highly recommend A to Z Electronics. They check all the boxes for quality and professionalism. And they are courteous and respectful too. I was pleasantly surprised because I usually don't expect this level of service from people who work on my home. I had a short circuit somewhere in house. The breaker would not reset. They found the problem in less than 10 minutes and fixed it quickly. They know what they are doing and there were no surprises. I'll definitely use them again. Thank you.

When we needed to have electrical work done on our home, it was easy to decide to contact A to Z since we have used them successfully in the past. We provided a list of necessary work and we reviewed it with A to Z. They went over the list with us when they completed the job. The charge was fair. Workers came on time and did the work in a professional and timely manner. They advised us that repairing something we thought necessary wasn't necessary at all.I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were available after the job to address any concerns.One of the projects A to Z Electric completed was what I called an” electric spider web” in our basement utility room. As you can see by the photos, A to Z Electric was successful at repairing this.

I booked an appointment with them. It was confirmed online and 2 follow up email confirmations. Day of the appt they call me at 8 in the morning (my appt was at 2pm) and tell me that their free estimate is over the phone. That would have been acceptable except they never had an actual total. They just kept say $180 for the first half hour and $90 every half hour after that. I asked would the electrician let me know the actual total or estimation of time before beginning the actual work. They said they couldn't do that. They wouldn't know how long. So you want me to just let you blindly take your time doing the repairs with no real idea of how much it will be? Then I said well would your electrician still be showing up for our 2 pm appt? They said they couldn't guarantee it since they had a lot of stops scheduled for around that time. So now you're telling me that you purposely over booked and I am supposed to sit around waiting all day. I work at night so my times have to be precise because that's when I sleep which is why I had booked an appointment time and got confirmations. All of it was just a complete waste of time. There was no value for the clients time. Never have I had these problems with contractors.

The guys came in at a fair price for their experience and knowledge. They worked efficiently and left everything very clean. Professional,clean, efficient, personable experience very evident. I will definitely be calling them first for any further work I might need in my home.

Had power run to my outdoor pergola and switched out two light switches with smart dimmer switches. The guys were super professional, very careful and neat, and the price was very reasonable. No nickel and diming and charged the exact quote.Have some other probably more involved projects for the future and will definitely be using A to Z for them!

I still had florescent lighting in my kitchen and the ballasts were shot.A-Z recommended I change to LED fixtures, and I love the change. My kitchen is brighter and it'll be easier for me to switch out the bulbs, which probably won't need to be switched for several years.From my first phone contact, to the quote, to the fantastic techs who performed the service, this was an ideal experience. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable and the techs efficient and personable. They even fixed another minor electrical issue I had and didn't charge me anymore than the original quote.I now have an electric company that I can confidently call to handle any of my electrical needs. Got an estimate on some electric work that was way way higher than all other contractors. For my project price was unrealistic. Based on my experience do not recommend.

I met Bob and Tony the day of my scheduled appointment these 2 guys were AWESOME they came into my home and were very respectful, kind, caring, thoughtful, helpful, consistent, WELL EXPERIENCED, practice CDC guidelines etc.. I’ve used A to Z twice once to replace some electrical switches/replace an outside light and the other job was replace some basement lights with LED lights.
