Best Outlet Repair in Chicago IL

I called STS Electric. Spoke to Anna. She was great and gave me rough estimate over the phone. Called on Wednesday. She got me an appointment on Friday morning. Sam showed up on time. He installed my three light fixtures and changed out by outlets in 2 bathrooms. Excellent service, Excellent price. Will use again and would never be afraid to refer them to anyone who requires electrical services. Thanks Anna, Sam and STS Electric of Chicago.

Kent is an all-star electrician. You can tell electricity is second nature to him. He figured out a wicked problem that was happening to many of our lights. It wasn't easy and tested our patience, however, Kent was cool, calm, and collected and figured out the issue with precision and care - a lost neutral. I must also add, we had a number of laughs while he was here. A great electrician and a wonderful person.

Highlights did great work updating old wiring through the last old circuit of our house. Their crew was friendly and efficient and the price was right.

The electrician was punctual. Very professional, kind, understanding, genuine, friendly, honest, patient and fair. He tells you exactly what the situation is and why. Is very knowledgeable in his profession. Walks you through each step of the process and makes sure you understand what is happening and why and what costs will be associated with the ongoing process. By far one of the best electricians I had to the pleasure of getting to know and work with. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. No way you can go wrong with this company. Honest and hardworking individuals. That goes a long way and difficult to find at times. So knowing I have these true professional individuals to work with will be a massive headache saver. Anyone reading should at least give them a call for their electrical needs. :)

They gave me a quote and promised the price would not change no matter what they found during the work. Then when trying to install an outlet, they couldn’t find a live wire in the wall and decided they would charge extra if I wanted the job done. The electrician said there was nothing he could do about it and I tried calling/emailing the main office to remind them of the promise, but they told me there was nothing they would do about it.

Geez Louise. These. Guys. Are. Good. Nate and Nel got to my house to repair a circuit breaker switch in my bedroom that kept tripping. We figured out that it was from a new outlet that was installed by a guy who mounted my tv. They quickly got to work. They wouldn't let me touch a thing. They moved the tv, moved furniture in their way and put everything back when they were done. They also repaired an outlet that I didn't even know wasn't working on the balcony. They even fixed our jacuzzi (happy wife, happy life ?). THESE GUYS ARE PROS and know what they are doing. If you need electrical work done, call Sims!!! ???? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend A to Z electric. I called them twice to do a basic service for a rental apartment I own. The first time was to fix an electric issue in the second bedroom. For lights flickering and to fix a CGFI outlet, I was charged 300.00I then called them to re-locate a smoke detector. They re-located the detector (no wiring involved, just unscrewing the detector and re-screwing it higher on the wall). Then without authorizing or confirming with me, they decided to repair existing outlets in bedroom/office repaired for having bad connection. I did not ask them to do this service. On top of this I had already paid them $300 to fix the very same outlets only a week before. Either they did a bad job the week before and are charging me twice for a poor job because why would the electric fail one week later after they repaired it, or they are scammers because they charged me for a repair I did not request. I only requested they moved the smoke detectors. The tenants are very quick to notify me when something is broken and did not complain about any electrical issues. This is basically what everyone warns you about, that a company will make up some fake claim and then charge you for it. To do this bogus job they charged me $315.00This is why on multiple times I asked them to call me when a technician was in the unit to run me through the repairs so I could authorize the repairs. I also asked them to send photos of the repairs/work but they refused and I never received a call, not even to let me know that they were in the unit. Save your money. Unfortunately, a money-hungry company.

I initially called Paul’s electric because I was having other work done on my house and we found live wires that I needed remediated. Paul and Peter showed up 25 mins after I called and quickly took care of the problem. While they were here I had them quote me on a panel upgrade (100 amp to 200 amp service). I was quoted a fair price and agreed to have the work done 2 days later. Paul and Peter showed up on time and worked their butts off for 7 hours to upgrade my service. Additionally, they upgraded both of my outdoor outlets. I would highly recommend them for electric work and they will be my first call if I have any electrician needs in the future.

When we upgraded our heating and cooling system, we were informed that our electrical service couldn't support it. We opted to upgrade our service and electrical wiring to handle the extra load. This electrical company had a team of electrical contractors that got the job done quickly and safely. Whenever we need electrical service, we will call this company again.

I called Vilano this week, because the electrical box in my 2 flat almost started a fire. They came out same day (even though it was getting late in the day) and properly diagnosed the main panel as needing to be replaced. They were willing to put in the box (not a small job) the very next day. They did a great job and the price was fair considering the emergency-like timeline I wanted it done in.

I had another company that built out the location into the electrical. I wasn't impressed with them. I run across all electric services and they have done a great job. They were very well spoken and will answer all your questions. Not afraid to look at work outside of the scope of what they were contracted. They were amazing guys and I was very impressed with their services and will continue to use this company in the future.

This was our first time using Drew Electric and it was a great experience from start to finish. They arrived promptly and were courteous throughout. We had several questions that they were happy to answer. The work was done efficiently and everything was cleaned up afterward. We were very happy to find a good electrician in our area and would gladly do business with them again.

Mike and Austin were on the job for about a week. Mike kept me updated on work on a frequent basis and fully discussed possibilities with me when new information about the conditions they discovered as they learnt the locations of some of the wiring became available. In addition, I was kept fully aware of any additional expenditures that emerged as a result of options that were presented in response to the problems discovered. What could have been stressful was actually a positive experience. Thanks again guys!!

They were able to get me in after just a couple days, made sure that they were addressing all my concerns (older home with several electrical concerns), and went above and beyond with a competitive price, and military discount. This company just became my go-to. Harold and Seth were clean, competent, and respectful. I endorse they change their greeting though.a simple 'hello' would be fine. I always feel awful listening to someone recite some contrived, good idea fairy mess. Great experience overall though. recommend .

Eli and Mike were awesome. They came to disconnect some high voltage, heavy duty industrial equipment and did a fantastic job. They were punctual, showing up a little before the agreed upon time, and were the consummate professionals. Courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. I can't recommend them highly enough. We will definitely be using their services whenever we need electrical work performed.
