Kent is an all-star electrician. You can tell electricity is second nature to him. He figured out a wicked problem that was happening to many of our lights. It wasn't easy and tested our patience, however, Kent was cool, calm, and collected and figured out the issue with precision and care - a lost neutral. I must also add, we had a number of laughs while he was here. A great electrician and a wonderful person.

I was able to have someone out to my house the same day that I reached out and the problem was fixed very quickly. 10/10 would recommend.

I rarely leave reviews, but I want to let everyone know about the extraordinary service I received over the weekend by Tony and Grace. The electricity went out on a very cold night for one of my parent’s tenants. I called All Power Electric at 8pm on a Friday night and talked to Tony right away. I explained to Tony the situation and he immediately diagnosed the issue and told me what to do to save myself the money of calling in a dispatch (he initially said it was a ComEd issue). Because it was a cold night and the tenants had a little boy, I still wanted him to come out and make sure that everything was working as should. He was at the property quickly, troubleshooted everything and repeated his initial diagnosis (that it was a ComEd issue). I tried calling ComEd via their main customer service number several times but since it was after hours I was not able to get through to a live person. The next day Tony found out that power still was not restored and unable to get through to a live person and he had Grace call ComEd directly via a number they used as contractors and not only were we able to get through to a live person but we found out the problem was that the unit was improperly registered which led to the power being cut. If it weren’t for Tony and Grace the tenants would have been without power the entire weekend and I would have had to relocate them. While this review isn’t for work that was performed, it’s a testament to the great work ethic of both of these individuals.I would also like to say that I called two other 24 hour electricians before calling All Power Electric and one didn’t answer until the next day and the other wouldn’t be able to dispatch someone until two days later. All Power Electric responded right away and was at the property quickly. I will definitely call them in the future and highly recommend them.

Our building manager recommended Arnold Electrical Services to upgrade our electric panel. They were very responsive. Eric and Adrian were professional, answered a lot of questions that we had, and finished the work beautifully. We couldn't be happier about their services!

Spoke with an individual in regards to installing outlets and a bathroom fan but they never called back with a price and installation date. Called again and left a message but nothing.Update:I had a great conversation with Jason. I ended up being out of their service zone but was sent a list of recommendations for contractors in my area. I am absolutely thrilled with the work Darrell's team did for me today. They removed and replaced 13 light fixtures for me throughout my place. Darrell was super helpful as he helped me figure out what to do in a building that is super old with concrete ceilings. Delvin, Cody, and Graham came today to do the work and they were fast, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Will definitely be using Sims & Sons for all of my future electrical work here in Chicago!

I recently called this electric service company for assistance when I encountered a problem with my electrical system. The technician who showed up at my house was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to quickly identify the issue and resolve it. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who needs electrical services because I was very impressed with the level of service I received.

Technician was highly knowledgeable about issue with with Comed not restoring power due to back feed. Everything was explained in a workmanlike manner and completed thoroughly.

We could not figure out why the power to our newly-installed Ring doorbell wasn't working and found this company on Yelp. They sent us an electrician who was on a Mission From God to find the source of the problem and who refused to give up when all seemed lost and it appeared as though we would need to start demolishing drywall. Finally, he traced a wire he found in a hornet's nest of mechanical and electrical equipment and located a blown transformer in a concealed and remote nook of our garage, at which point he climbed a ladder, twisted his body into contortions, and fixed the problem by installing a new transformer. He was worth his weight in gold. Three cheers for Wizard Electric.

It wasn’t easy to find a good electrician in Chicago but once I found this one, my search was over. I wanted to get recessed lighting throughout my main floor but I wasn’t even sure it would be possible without tearing my ceilings apart. This electrician did an incredible job of keeping my ceiling intact and proving me with the pot lights I wanted.
