I tried installing a light fixture to my ceiling on my own and failed miserably. After giving up, I immediately gave Bobby a call and he was able to come over the next day and he installed the fixture within 10 minutes and made it look so simple. I guess that’s why I should always just leave it to the professionals! Highly recommend!

Viva Electric provided very professional service, and communication, from quote to date of install. They texted a picture of Jimmy prior to arriving so we knew who to expect—I was not home so this made my wife good about who she was answering the door to. I cannot say enough about the excellent service Bates Electric provided my family in an emergency. When a fallen tree limb ripped the service line away from my house on a late Thursday evening, it left my wife (who was only weeks away from her due date at the time) and I in the dark. With a little one on the way, multiple animals needing protection from the heat (over 90 during the day), and the weekend rapidly approaching we were scrambling to find a solution. Bates dispatched a professional immediately. The electrician that arrived (Jeremy) was the definition of a professional. He was knowledgeable, fast, courteous, and provided accurate advice on how to resolve our issues. Jeremy genuinely cared about the situation my wife and I had fallen into and stayed engaged in the process from start to finish and then some. IF you've ever had to go through an emergency outage you will know that there are a lot of moving parts involved between the energy company, the electrician and the city/county inspectors. This is where Bates really shined. When the repair work was done, the back office took over to push us over the goal line. While the repairs where done, the energy company was refusing to restore service without an inspection by the city/county. Getting both a permit and an inspection completed on a Friday during a pandemic is one of the toughest deadlines possible. To make things even tougher, the permit office was going through a IT outage that significantly stalled the process. Bates' back office (especially Alexis) stepped up to take on the challenge. Through close coordination and effective communication, they were able to get the entire process fast tracked and completed before the weekend. Bates earned a customer in me and will be my first call for any future needs (especially emergencies).

Could not be happier with the service. Had a small electrical fire which disabled half of my house electrically. Called 15 to 20 electricians. No one could come out said they were all too busy. Father and son said they were booked but would try to get somebody out as soon as possible. Within 20 minutes they had called me with a free electrician who came out immediately. He assessed the problem fixed it and was gone in record time. I highly recommend Father and son electrical for any electrical needs. pricing was fair. I would have paid 223 times what they charged to get this service taken care of. Very happy with my service.

We had a true emergency. We had a water heater that stopped working followed by the electrical panel that could no longer handle the demands placed upon it. We had been without hot water and power in portions of the home for at least a week waiting on other company to simply return a call. However Handy Henry's was able to maneuver scheduling so that the repair was completed within 24 hrs of being contacted. That response time and professionalism truly was a blessing to this 70+ year young person. We will tell all our friends about the great service!! Henry's is now in my contacts and we will certainly call them again for all our electrical needs.
