By far the best experience I’ve had with an in home service. All around pleasant experience and the friendly and professional demeanor will be the reason we will use Mister Sparky from now on.

I had recently closed on a house and needed the panel upgraded, 4 GFCIs installed in the garage, a dimmer upgraded to LED and various switches upgraded. Certainly no small task! I called LiveWire Electrical on a Sunday and Bobby came out next day to inspect and provide a quote. He was very thorough and explained everything clearly. He pulled the permit and came next day to complete the panel overhaul plus the additional items in 4 hours, while I worked from home!! I had minimal interruption with WiFi/power through the entire process; He is excellent and I will be having him come back for other projects. I highly recommend him and will be referring him to friends and family.

I can’t say enough about the folks at Carolina Electric Pros. From start to finish they were very responsive and professional. Dave worked with me to decide what was needed. I had a 240V outlet installed in my garage for my new EV car. They answered all of my questions, scheduled the job in a timely manner, showed up on time on the day of the installation and completed the job 100% to my satisfaction. The tech who came, German, was very knowledgeable and made every effort to be sure that I was pleased with the job. These guys are my new go-to for any electrical work I may need in the future and I highly recommend them.

Ron consistently does great work. We’ve had him out to our home, on two separate occasions, and both times he’s done a fantastic job. A bonus is that he cleans up the workspace and doesn’t leave trash. I have a few more light fixtures to install and look forward to working with him again.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Lamm on the telephone yesterday about an electrical issue at my house. He took the time to ask me a number of questions, and even helped me locate my fuse box (which was on the outside of the house). He was extremely helpful and thorough. Ultimately, it turned out that the partial power outage at my house was caused by the power being automatically cut off in another room by a GFCI outlet (probably my kids!), however, I do have another electrical issue, and I look forward to having Mr. Lamm or someone from his company look into it. I appreciate his attention to detail, as well as his thoughtful manner. I appreciated him trying to get as much information as possible before sending someone to my house. If his employees are anything like him, I know they must be great electricians! Thank you!

I hired Bobby to install a few indoor and outdoor light fixtures, a new floodlight, and two outdoor outlets and could not be happier. He was incredibly responsive, fit me into his busy schedule and was on time, professional, and is an absolute electrical guru. His knowledge of the latest technology and wiring capabilities for my older home saved me a fortune. You can’t beat his pricing, especially considering his 8+ years of electrical experience. He even installed a new light in my attic without me asking and at no charge. I won’t use anyone else.

Almighty is a great Company to use. We use Almighty electric for any needs that we have here Walsh Crawl Space. We ran into emergency situation that came up and Almighty Electric was on time very responsive and addressed the situation the same day. Would use Almighty Electric again. Recently we decided to have a generator and interlock switch installed to make it safe and easy to provide backup power to our entire house during a power outage. I work from home 2 days a week and it’s important for me to keep my power on. We also decided to install 2 lampposts along our driveway.
The first company I spoke with, who shall remain anonymous, emailed an estimate for just the home backup generator solution for $12,000.
That same week I had set up a similar meeting with GB Electrical Services. Immediately I knew I was dealing with a much more professional company from the way I was treated on the phone to set up the appointment to receiving text messages telling me the technician Ed Bunch was on his way. When Ed arrived, we went through the walkthrough of everything we wanted done. He listened closely and asked me questions to help him determine what type of solution would work best for me. He even asked about the types of things I needed power for including asking if I had plans to buy an electric car which would require a special charging outlet. Once we went through all our power needs, he took some time to go through all my existing wiring. He then concluded that he could reuse an existing breaker box that had at one time been used for a hot tub from a previous owner. He said he would switch that to the outlet that would be used to plug the generator into. He also said that if he could find an interlock switch that was made for my 22 year old electrical panel that it would save him from needing to install an external transfer switch.
The next day I received the estimate from the GB team. They were able to find the interlock switch that was made for my 22 year old electrical panel which saved me $1,400. The bottom line is the total was $8,000 less than the other electrician was going to charge me.
Ed returned to install the generator and brought his helper Nick with him. They treated my property with respect and even wore shoe covers when they entered the house. They were polite and worked quickly to complete the work. I actually ended up with LESS hardware on the back of our house when Ed swapped out the existing breaker box for the outlet to plug the generator into. The interlock switch fit perfectly into my existing electrical panel. When they were done, Ed then shut the main power switch off to simulate an outage and showed me step by step how to connect the generator and power the house back up. Ed was very patient while I asked many questions and wrote down all the steps he was teaching me.
A week later Ed came back to do the lampposts. He brought Dawson with him this time to assist. They spent the day in the pouring rain pulling wires and mounting the 2 lampposts. Dawson showed me the switch he and Ed were installing which was a Lutron Caseta wireless (Bluetooth) switch. I was impressed with the technology as it can resolve a lot of difficult wiring challenges along with not needing a lot of fishing wires through walls. I can even control it from my phone if I so choose.
They finished the job, tested everything and they showed me how to operate the system. They cleaned up everything and told me to expect the electrical inspector in the next few days who needs to sign off on the permit. The next morning the Union County Electrical Inspector showed up and inspected all of the work Ed, Dawson and Nick had completed. He went through everything and didn’t find a single concern and said they had done a good job. The inspector had never seen the Bluetooth power switch before and was interested enough to look it up online. He wanted to make sure it was UL Labs approved which it was. He signed off on the permit being finalized.
Bottom line is if you want someone to give you an honest complete evaluation of your electrical needs who will give you the best options while respecting your budget, ask for Ed Bunch at GB Electrical Services. I highly recommend him and the rest of the GB Team.

The name discount electrical is a joke!. We had a light fixture that needed repair and thought it was wiring. However we only needed a different type of bulb. I was shocked when we received a bill for $125 yes $125 to change a lightbulb. He showed up an hour late and had to use our ladder! We don't mind paying for someones time but this is price gauging at its finest. Someone with this type of ethics to charge that much for that level of work should not be in business. Please do your research and be aware so you don't have to over pay like we just did.

Henry is very professional and fast, he found out what the problem was within 10 minutes and was finished fixing everything in 45 minutes. I am very satisfied and pleased with the great job he did. I even referred him to my grandmother because she also was having electrical problems but not anymore Henry took good care of us.

If you are in search for a great electrician, WTC Electric is who you need! I highly recommend them! They have the best customer service, and get things done in a timely manner.

I scheduled an appointment with one of their technicians (Robby) but he was a no call-no show. I called him and left a voice mail on his cell phone, asking if he was going to be making it but he never called me back. When I called into the office, the lady that answered the phone indicated that the technicians set their own schedule so I'd just have to speak with him about it.

Pretty poor customer service all around.
