I've been having some issues with my electric lately, and wanted to troubleshoot the issues. I saw on their website that they perform thermal imaging and called to schedule an appointment. I was informed of the cost associated with the service I was requesting and agreed that I wanted to book the appointment. I later received a call asking if I was sure if I wanted to go ahead with the thermal imaging as they were sure they could diagnose my issues without using the imaging tool that they would have to rent, and that it would be much cheaper- I again confirmed I was aware of the cost and I did want to have the thermal imaging done. Tell me why then the technician shows up two hours late without the tool required to do the service I had requested. His excuse was that they did not have the tool available to rent...so why did you not try to reschedule? I called the company back to ask how this happened and asked for a follow-up call because I felt my time and money had been wasted, haven't heard back. I would not recommend, and would not be doing further business with this company.

I was just going to move on but since they have emailed me 3-4 times in the past month for an appointment on Jan 15 2018.. I guess I should share my brief experience. The positive is the technician showed up quickly.. They have a policy that they will charge you $200 the moment they commence looking at your project. And they even go as far to disclaim that there is a chance they will not be able to perform the task you need and that you will still have to pay the $200. This routine seems pretty rehearsed and probably has been required by some attorney.

My technician looked at the front door light fixture and sure enough said it needed to be replaced and there was nothing he could do.. but that he would be happy to come back out to charge me another $200 to install the fixture once I have purchased it.

The lesson here is if you have any light fixture that you think is faulty.. the best plan is to go to Lowe’s/Home Depot/etc. and purchase a replacement.. they usually come with the installation. If it turns out the project doesn’t require the new fixture, you just return it. But at least you will have a reliable electrician that comes with the Lowe’s/ Home Depot stamp of approval who will assess your needs and not Overcharge you for what amounts to a 2 minute decision that they couldn’t help you.

I don’t like writing bad reviews but perhaps this will teach the Father and Son to use more discretion which previous clients to hound for public feedback.

Professional and timely

Ed and his apprentice ran a new service panel and disconnect to crawl space water heater. Also relocated a service switch for easier access. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it.

Reasonable pricing. On time arrival. Great job. My go to for electrical needs in the future.

I have developed a great working relationship with Banks EC over the last year. They have provided timely service and have been very responsive to issue at our facility. The staff that I worked with have provided excellent customer service while adhering to our COVID protocols to ensure safety of our clientele. Had a sudden loss of AC after another contractor performed annual mtce. They (CinC) said was lack of adequate attic insulation & other misc. reasons. After 2 months of back & forth, we called Adams. Jim (Adams) determined our problem was not any that CinC stated. Eddie (Adams) came out & determined the cause immediately! Corrected & had AC in 10 minutes! Subsequently contracted Adams to do duct overhaul. Juan & team did the job in short order & fixed an upstairs cooling issue we had for years. From start to finish - Adams performed exceptionally! Highly recommend - great job folks!
