Best New Home in San Diego CA
I called to request an estimate for a whole house rewire. After giving all my information I was informed there is a $59 travel fee to receive the estimate. The company is in Point Loma and I am in North Park.. a 15 minute drive. Needless to say I was disappointed, all other companies i've contacted so far do free estimates.. especially for a large rewire job. Declined to have them come. I guess someone else will be receiving my business!

I've worked with Massella Electric for several homes I have owned/lived in for all of my electrical needs and refer them as one of my electrical vendors for my real estate business over the last 8 years. I have had many clients use their services and have not had one client who has had anything but excellent service and care.

I have a question, if a piece of the outlet shell breaks, can it cause a house fire?

I installed a ceiling fan for my bathroom and needed it wired into the wall for a switch. I used Angies List to find them and they responded in less than 3 minutes. Rob had a guy at my house the next day to wire it in. I’m assuming the price was fair but I can’t validate that claim. He also said he had to charge me a bit extra because I found him on Angies List to cover those costs so just call him direct next time to save some $. He also came out for an estimate for a backyard project and gave me a good quote. I’d totally use them again for any electrical needs.

Our family is very pleased with this company, and the service was excellent! With the news of our new baby on the way, and wanting some extra space. We decided to add an addition on our home rather then to relocate. We met with Jerry (the owner of CLD Electric) who kindly took the time to explain everything to us in detail until we were comfortable with making the choice to move forward. We did have a few other local Electrician's come out before making our decision on who to go with, but after meeting Jerry. He left us with the confidence, and piece of mind that our home would be safe for our children upon completion of the job. Then the decision was easy to move forward. From the start of the job the service men were kind, considerate, and respectful of our home. Being that we have small children, and that we were staying in the house while the addition was being built. They made extra efforts to keep the house clean, and tidy while working. The tools, and materials were put in the garage at the end of every day which gave us piece of mind for our children's safety. The whole process from start to finish went much more quickly then we anticipated, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of the new room! Our service panel was old, and due for an upgrade anyway, so it all worked out perfectly to have that replaced at the time as well.We highly recommend CLD Electric, and are more then happy to share our experience.Thank you again from the Johnston's!

HORRIBLE! Placed a service request through American Home Shield insurance to fix an outlet in my dining room and City Last Electric was the vendor who came to “fix” the outlet. They fixed the outlet in the dining room but damaged two outlets in the kitchen in the process! When working on the outlet in the dining room, they checked three outlets in the kitchen (I do not know why since these were not part of the request and were working just fine). Two of the three outlets in the kitchen are now not working and City Last Electric “completed” the request through my insurance (they got paid)! I now have to file another claim with American Home Shield to fix these two outlets in the kitchen since City Last Electric will not come fix what they broke (I don’t want them anywhere near my home anyway) or even pay for the damage they caused. Hopefully American Home Shield drops them as a vendor!

They provided high quality electrical services for our home. They replaced all the wirings for some of lighting, also they replaced some breakers with very decent fees. Since then there is no problem with lighting/breaker tripping. I highly recommend AC/DC Electric.
