I have used Zed Electric for several projects around my house. I find them reliable and trustworthy. Their technicians are always informative, honest and courteous. I never feel taken advantage of, but rather, supported. I have recommended them to my friends. I would not hesitate to call them for any other projects that may come up in the future.

HONEST AND HELPFUL. I called about a damaged wire inside an interior wall. I think that 99.99% of all electrical contractors would have immediately set up an appointment for a visit by an electrician. Instead, Electricians San Diego asked me very specific questions and also had me text them a picture of the wires. We spent at least 10 minutes on the phone. They clearly described the issue and told me I could easily fix it myself! A company that does not seem to want to gouge you and in fact takes time to help for free? Amazing. So even though I have not met them, I plan to use them for any electrical issue I may have.

Its actually been quite a while since we asked Emerald to do some work on our house, but I just realized that I never provided them with a much deserved 5 star review. The work was pretty standard (installing new lighting, switching old fixtures in recessed lighting, installing a fan and an outdoor fixture), but due to the way our house had previously been wired, the job was a little bigger than it should have been. Regardless, the team was efficient, incredibly professional, and was able to complete all parts of the job at a fair price. Also, I have to say that this team was also made up of genuinely kind, good people. Without going into details, we had a totally unrelated problem come up around the house, and the Emerald team (we had three at the house, I think) all jumped in to help without a bit of hesitation, offering support and hands on assistance (while still wrapping up the job on time). So if you want good quality electric work done be really great people, go with them.

Rick Dawson was professional and very insightful with electrical work. He troubleshooted bad wiring in my house from previous owners diagnosed the problem and restored power . I will hire him a again.

Don't know what it takes to be google recommended but don't bother with these guys as they inflate pricing. Wasted an hour of my time and gave me a quote for $6,000.00 to install 4 outdoor outlets where all the trenching is already done. Claimed the subpanel at my Casita is overloaded even though only 3 years old, built by McMillin as an option with the main house, no changes have been made and 7 slots open. Said they would need to run dedicated circuits for my little pot pumps that draw 5 amps. I explained and showed them that I had McMillin put in a dedicated 20 amp circuit that had nothing on it and they said they couldn't use it. Said they would have to run new circuits from main panel which has no slots available.

The company ghosted me after coming out to my home to take a look.The person on the phone and the guy who came out were polite and helped answer questions, even explaining that they don't do mini-split installs anymore due to liability issues.In the end, I guess the work didn't amount to much, so they figured it wasn't worth even an email to let me know they wouldn't be interested. It gives bad business vibes when you can't even conduct simple communication like, We appreciate you contacting us, but we're not able to assist you email.

I highly recommend SZ Electric! Saeid is a real professional. We needed a lot of large power routing done, a large transformer installed, some disconnects, a power meter, and new breakers added to upgrade our shop to much larger capabilities. His team did a perfect job. Very clean, professional, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using them again in the future when we need more work done.
